Hello! I was recently involved in a hit-and-run a day before my birthday. I was parked in drive…read morethru, waiting in line at a local fast food restaurant and a lady backed into my car. The collision caused a decent amount of damage to my front bumper. I was surprised that she got out of her car, looked at my car and quickly go back in her suburban and drove off. She didn't bother to exchange any insurance information so I was completely up a creek as far as the damage she caused to the front of my Nissan. Well - long story short, I took my car to Maaco on 47 S Trade Center Way, Indianapolis and spoke with Ed the Manager there. He assess the damage and gave me a very fair estimate to repair the damage. He gave me the estimate and I took my car back 3 days later to have my car repaired. A few days later I received a call that my car was done and ready to pick up! After arriving and seeing they quality work that was done in such a short time I was completely impressed and will be recommending my friends to this specific Maaco location. They do not always get all the dirt off of my truck tailgate or the bugs off the windshield but I am a monthly subscriber so I just drive back through a second time. This one is always busy as they are right at a busy intersection so getting out of the lot is tricky sometimes. The value is good as I said because I pay monthly and every time I am in Indy I drive through the wash. Crew does a pretty good job of keeping their equipment up to date so I have never had any damage to my vehicles driving through.

As a wheelchair using driver, it's not particularly quick or easy to identify an appropriate vehicle that will meet my needs. I don't drive a van. I typically have driven a 2-door automatic, however, it has to have enough room between the driver's seat and the door frame that I can put my wheelchair, when folded, in the backseat. When I was younger, these were easy to find. These days? Not so much. I first called Ed Martin Honda as I was curious about a used Honda Civic. I'd had a Civic before, but cars change over the years and I wanted to make sure. I was transferred multiple times trying to find basic answers about the vehicle. At one point, I simply asked if they could measure the space I needed to know about as I'd been able to determine how much room I needed. It was really basic customer service, and they just wouldn't do it. Majorly dropped ball. Somewhat on the flip side, I did an in-person visit and the sales rep definitely went out of the way to let me try a couple of the vehicles. I was definitely impressed, and there was a definite effort to try to think of vehicles that would actually work. That was good customer service, though we didn't actually find a vehicle. For the record, I ended up buying a Honda. If that original associate had been more helpful who knows what could have happened? I learned that both the Civic and the Accord would work (coupe versions, so slightly older). I ended up with an Accord that I'm anxiously waiting for it to arrive. This was a solid mid-range experience, though somewhat disappointing given I've generally heard great things about Martin's customer service. Phone call? Disappointing. In-person? Much better. Overall, I'd still probably return for future needs.

There was no mention of the possibility of going without my car for the rest of the weekend. Communication was extremely poor. When I called to speak with the service manager the following week they told me he would reach out to me when he got into work. I called back later in the day and the manager had not spoken to anyone about the situation. Furthermore, I was told I would me mailed a check by the end of the week for a discount that was not applied to my final bill...the week has gone by and I am still waiting for a check for over $100. The manager told me he would call me to see if I received the check, this also did not happen. My experience at this location is that they over promise and underdeliver. I will not be bringing my car back for service.

There is only two lines for everyone at the car wash so it keeps it fair in the first come first serving order. I always get the wheels and wax exterior package which also gets the underside of the car. I'll also get the express interior cleaning sometimes, and that is always pretty quick (under 10 minutes) once they start your car. Super salty cars beware: you might lose your bumper magnet if the salt gets underneath it!
