I come here every so often for cleaning my car. I find that it's a little cheaper here than at some other car washes. My car is always very clean when I'm done! There is only two lines for everyone at the car wash so it keeps it fair in the first come first serving order. I always get the wheels and wax exterior package which also gets the underside of the car. I'll also get the express interior cleaning sometimes, and that is always pretty quick (under 10 minutes) once they start your car. Super salty cars beware: you might lose your bumper magnet if the salt gets underneath it! read more

I have a subscription for cleaning service the do a pretty good job. You can pay for extra detailing but the wipe down the interior pretty well. The managers are great fix any issues you have on the spot. Clean lobby with a tv so you can view and snacks for sell. read more

I usually go to this car has a yesterday. I will no longer take my car after paying $39.99 to have my car cleaned inside and out and my windows cleaned when I got home and it got dark and I could see windows all of them were very milky they did not even touch the back of my SUV in the back bar backseat, and they didn't pull the mat up and clean the mat they did not vacuum under my floor mat not very happy. I took my car here for detailing a few days ago. I had a pretty gnarly stain in my back seat from a food spill. They got the stain out. However when i arrived no one on staff knew the door to the car wash was being fixed and didn't offer any clarification on what to do in the meantime. Once things got going they told me my car would be ready in 3 hours. They took my name and number but didn't call me when it was ready. When i picked it up my interior was so wet all my windows were fogged up. It's been 3 days and my seats are STILL wet. I'm so irritated. Just pay more money and go where they will at least dry the seats as much as possible. Hopefully my car doesn't start smelling like mildew. It sucks having to drive with the windows down in this weather. read more

Stopped in for a wash and detail. Even though they were busy, they got my car detailed quickly. That speed might be why they did a somewhat half-hearted clean on the interior. They did rinse off the floor mats, dusted the dash and vacuumed the interior but it was not a thorough job as there was still dust and dirt and the rear seat mats were still dirty. I may come back here for a wash but really would do a better job myself as far as cleaning the interior. read more

In general, LOVE Sparkling Image! Have been going for years. My last visit was not as good, though. Like another reviewer pointed out, they've moved to having one crew do one lane at a time instead of working all three lanes at once so if you get in the wrong lane, you may be waiting a LONG time. I had no idea what kind of wait I was getting into and it was early afternoon on a Thursday so I can't imagine what it would be like during more peak hours. This is honestly my favorite Sparkling Image. Its not the closest one to me but I prefer to go to this location because they have a pull off area where you can wipe down your car with the optional vacuums if needed. My normal location thats closest to me is off keystone and thats the one downfall is not having anywhere to pull off. I was a bit surprised that their price for a normal wash went up to $8 instead of $7. I asked when that change happened and they said November of 2017 (shows how long it had been since my car had been washed lol ). It is making me consider getting the unlimited wash package back because the price has stayed the same at $19.99. read more

They are very short staffed. There are three lanes to pull into after your car wash should you purchase an interior cleaning package. Used to be that their employees would be working all three lanes moving cars in and out. Now they have one crew doing one lane at a time. This triples the time , at a minimum, you would ordinarily spend here which is the pits. Since I just missed the cutoff for one of these lanes I'll have wait until they go around a second time which will further increase my time sitting and waiting. Too late to request a refund or just get out of line as there are cars to the front and back of you. They should give customers the option of waiting by telling them what is going on prior to paying. read more

I am used to going to the one on 82nd Street so was surprised I had to pull the Van through the car wash. I was taking my aunt's minivan to get a inside and out cleaning after this winter and they had emailed me a 50% off coupon. I went with the #1 which included wax and wheels. There was a pretty big line after the wash since they wipe and vacuum the entire vehicle. But it was a beautiful February day so everyone had the same idea. It didn't really take more than half hour. I wasn't paying attention. There were maybe 16-20 cars being done. They have a inside waiting area and I thought it was pretty clean. They did a pretty good job. The van was really needing a good vacuuming and wipe down. My aunt has a scooter and lift in the back and I was able to move them out so they wiped down the mat under it which was dirty from salt, snow and rain. They even vacuumed under the plastic mat! My husband took my car the same day and it looked equally as good! He asked about the scent and I didn't. So I am sad the van doesn't smell as good as my car. I need to remember to ask next time. Might be good if they asked. read more

First time going and the final result was 4/5. 4/5 because the long wait to actually get my inside detailed. The process isn't bad just need to be tweaked to be more efficient and move faster. If this is resolved they would definitely move more cars. No issues. Will be back. read more

I've been coming to this location for years and the service has just gone downhill. It's too bad because I really used to love the outcome. Just see what they didn't do. *Only wiped the driver's side of the dashboard. *Left streaks on one mirror and didn't even clean the other. *Missed the gear shift entirely. *Missed big pieces with the vacuum on the floor and seat (seat pics not taken). *I mentioned there was a small Coke spill on the side of the console and it was completely ignored (not shown ). *Took 45 minutes to get such bad results. I'm just so disappointed! They received 2 stars because they at least did a nice job on most of the windows and carpet. read more

Sparkling Image is my favorite car wash, because they do the inside and outside of your car for just a few bucks more than good 'ole Mike. There are locations throughout Indianapolis, and while this one isn't my favorite, I sometimes find myself needing a wash while cruising down 38th street and swing in for a wash. Note: I didn't say "quick wash".. Here's what I like about this place: If you want a quick wash, it's cheap and fast. Drive through the wash and exit and be on your way. Want something more, drive your car through the wash and (if you've paid for it), head over to the full service area and leave your car with the workers while you head to the observation room. Don't worry, you'll be able to spy on them, making sure they take care of your ride. Heck, you can even run out there and complain that they missed a spot if you're so inclined. My biggest complaint (and the reason for the 3 stars) is that this particular location is ALWAYS SLOW. There's always a line to pay, and always a line at the full service wash. I've stopped when there are only two other cars in line ahead of me, and it's still taken over 20 minutes. Other locations (like the one in Greenwood) isn't like this. I'm just sayin'.. In a hurry and need your car washed? Skip this place. Have some time and want those Cheerios vacuumed out of the back seat and want some alone time away from the kids? Stop here. read more

I've been going here for about 3-4 years now. Recently I tried Prime up on North Michigan road and ended up paying more for lower quality and less interior detail. I've actually seen positive changes in the last year. Today, there was a supervisor named Anthony (I think. I asked him because I was impressed with his customer service, but not 100%) who did a great job. He went to every car, he spoke to customers, he was directing traffic, talking to the staff, pointing out things that needed wiped again, etc. I've seen some other reviews that say the quality isn't what it used to be, but I've not experienced that. I mean, this place gets crazy busy and sure sometimes that can affect quality. I spent $17 and feel that I get plenty for that amount and more than what I've gotten at other places for more money. I see people there walking around their cars, pointing at things, expecting a $150 detail job for under $20 and it makes me laugh. Literally, every time I'm there at least one person has to make themselves look foolish and start pointing out mistakes or misses for their $20. I look at it like this, I get a decent wash and a much better interior clean than what I'm willing to do myself and that is worth every penny of my $17. read more

Beware! I picked up my vehicle and every single check engine light was rotating through the screen, when it had been in perfect working order when I dropped it off. I spent $471 with our dealership to get it back in working oder (they had to shop vac out all the excess liquid that caused issues with our dash). Now Sparkling Image is refusing to handle the bill/claim. We trusted them with our car, and we got it back in worse shape and spent much more money than if we'd taken it elsewhere or cleaned it ourselves. I am so disappointed in the lack of responsibility they are taking. The car looked beautiful and clean but that doesn't matter if they break something in the process and don't take responsibility for it! read more

I'm from up north in Carmel so I was used to going to Crew Carwash. When coming to Sparkling Image, I assumed it would be the same. Pay 20 or so and go through the automatic car wash. BUT NO! I paid $25 for the "Full Service" and I cannot express how amazing they were! After going through the automatic car wash (which has fun lighting throughout), they wipe down the exterior AND interior as well as vacuum the inside out. Amazing!!!! I felt bad because I had stuff in my car (I did not expect them to be in the inside) but they didn't mind at all and again, did an incredible job. I have a lab so his hair was everywhere and they were completely thorough!! They really went the extra mile to make me my car look even better. The employees are AMAZING, the price was BEYOND reasonable (I would've paid $40+ for this service), and the wash was INCREDIBLE. Sparkling Image is my new FAVORITE car cleaning center. I decided to get my other vehicle wash today my husband is a big fan of Prime car wash in Avon but since I was on this side of town I decided to get my car wash here. I will say they did a fantastic job on cleaning the inside of my car it look so good I'm sure my husband will not relieve I had gotten the car wash somewhere else other than Prime although they did a great job there customer service could use some help when I pulled up the lady had a look on her face as if she wanted to be anywhere in the world but at work I understand it's over 90 degrees and it was hot as hell outside but her all around attitude suck , every time I began to ask a question she was cutting me off which was very rude there were so many cars behind me that I couldn't back out because I felt I shouldn't be spending $ 40 bucks at a business that had rude people working for them besides that they did a very good job will I be returning here anytime soon probably NOT. read more

Came to this Carwash because I was sick of paying almost $20 for an "ultimate" wash from Crew and it still didn't get my car very clean. The workers were super nice and their prices are affordable. They also have interior cleaning services, but I haven't utilized that (yet). I paid $8 for a basic car wash that came with a few extras (including an under body wash). They actually sprayed my car thoroughly with soap--crew never did that. I also went when they were fairly busy and I got out pretty quick. My car was sparkling clean (hence the name!). There were no streaks or missed spots. It's been maybe about 2 weeks or so since I went and my car is still almost as clean as when I got it done--and that's after driving an hour north on the interstate multiple times a week! Overall I'm very pleased and think I found my new regular car wash! read more

For the price, this is an excellent car wash. I purchased the ultimate and added conditioning on the inside. My car looked 100% better afterwards. While this is probable the slowest sparkling image it is also the best in that they typically do an amazing job inside and out! I bought the unlimited pass and come here at least once a week - more in the winter. They take away all the spots and get rid of all the dust on the dash and displays in my car. All the crumbs from the kids - GONE! I have a SUV and they even clean out my "trunk" space by vacuuming it out too! I also feel like I'm an elite girl after driving my car away all nice and clean from the car wash! As an added bonus they have other services too (which I will be using when it warms up outside --- 4 kids and my seats need cleaned!). They also don't take any of the stuff out of your car - I have never had issues with missing items!!! Even came to find me to hand me $ and my phone once when I left it in my car! Tips: Greenwood is the fastest but they do not always catch all the stuff. I wish you had more locations!!! read more

My preference is Sparkling Image over Crew's any day of the week. There are five locations that I know of and none of them are close to me. However, when it comes to In and Out cleaning the right way, I don't care the distance, I have to go to Sparkling Image. There are tons of different options to choose from even as low as $6. You can also sign up for unlimited washes. Meaning if you love to keep your car looking as clean as you, there is the option of paying a monthly fee and can go every day if you want. If you really want to be overzealous, you can drive through immediately after you have gotten your car washed. I know this because I asked and I did it once. Only because my car was really dirty with bugs all on the front. You can choose from different packages with different levels of car washes and add a car for a little more per month. When I was at this location last, it was midday on a Saturday and it was not as crowded as it can sometimes be when all of the cars are lined up out to 38th Street. I got the Full Service package which included my absolute necessities: hot wax and tire shine. There were 2 or 3 guys that wiped down the car and vacuumed it out. When you get interior cleaning you can expect to wait about 15 minutes. There are benches outside and a few chairs and vending machine inside. It's worth the wait. They do a good job! read more

Took my car on a busy saturday afternoon. At the entrance, they ask you about the services you want and stick a receipt on your windshield from inside. You drive forward into the carwash and after this it is quite similar to any other carwash. I really like their interior cleaning/detailing services. Their crew is polite and very hardworking. I am very pleased with the service I got. Basically for a basic wash and interior I paid $16. They dusted and vaccuumed the car well and gave it a nice new car scent. It probably took them 15-20 minutes to finish up. They left me a Starbucks Espresso Double shot can in the car, I probably looked quite weary waiting in the corner:D Definitely will come back and I highly recommend this business! read more

I decided to sign up for their unlimited program due to the price and services offered. I opted for the $34.99 a month package. A hour after my first wash, I happened to be behind my Jeep and noticed the entire back door was still dirty. So not only is my vehicle not getting dried, it's not getting cleaned either. I returned a couple of days later, and mentioned it to the check-in attendant. He informed me that the machine doesn't really handle SUVs well especially the back of them. Ok. He suggested I pull off after my wash, and ask one of the staff to clean it off for me. Knowing this, one would think they might focus on the back of SUVs during the prewash. I've returned a few times to get my money's worth for the month, but I've experienced the same results. The back is still dirty including the window on down and my Jeep is only getting half dried. Out of all of my visits, today was the only time they had two employees at the prewash. Not worth it. I'll be canceling. read more

I have always brought my car to this location to get the full car wash. I finally had gotten to the point where I needed a car detail. Of course, I brought it back here because I love their work and their customer service. They did a great job!
