We switched to Xfinity because they were offering deals which included a new phone when adding a line. I have been in the store six times and they were not able to deliver on anything. They transferred our numbers but couldn't activate my watch for a month. They still charged me. They also added things to my internet that I did not want. Cameras and streaming services that I don't need. They said it would not raise my payment, it did. The part that bothers me the most is that there is no accountability. No one will take ownership and rectify the problem. It's always "the online people versus the in-store people" and no one can do anything about the other. I am disappointed with Xfinity after one and a half months and am Looking for another service provider. Best of luck if you decide to use them because this headache is not worth the money. read more

Max is the goat, give that guy a raise. I called online to change my service provider yet keep my phone number. The person over the phone with that all to formular accent that I will never be able to understand without hearing someone convincing me to not redeem the gift card... Had messed everything up and gave me a new phone number even through me pleading with him to let me keep my phone number he told me to kick rocks :( That's when the goat himself answered the phone and spent almost an hour making sure I kept my sacred phone number. I wish someone could make internet cheaper but no matter which plan you choose, you're going to pay an expensive plan regardless unless you get roped into a luring contract that's expensive to get out of. Alot of the choices outside of Xfinity stink but I chose them because they cover 95 percent of my area and the previous owner had this company as well. The man here was very helpful and was actually quite level headed with what I wanted and didn't want to scam me . He deserves 5 stars. Well, first of all, I had a technician that's supposed to come and I was at home waiting and no one was showing up and I called and I was told that I didn't have a appointment which I know I did then I was told that the person canceled because they got sick and they couldn't make it but no one called and let me know so with that being said they sent someone out another day and I guess that person wasn't really trained good and I couldn't see what they did for me nothing as well as I was concerned so someone else came out and they did a much better job. That was a vet and have more experience , but I was told that there wouldn't be a charge for someone coming out and now I get the bill that says it's $100 more than what my normal bill is and they said this is just a one time charge but if I'm not being charged for the service coming that what am I being charged for and I'm on the low income plan in which I normally pay $995 cent a month or $14.95 a month and I'm a senior on a fixed income so why would you tell me something is free and then you charge me for it and I feel that is misleading and unfair and this is not the way you supposed to do your customers and as far as the customer service when you call on the phone my goodness they had me on there talking to three different viral persons in one day you can never get a live agent. I don't get it make it make sense. I'm requesting a live agent, but they're not giving me one. They just keep giving me these viral assistance, which aren't doing anything to help me. read more

Comcast Mobil is run by the most disingenuous group I have ever dealt with. I added global pass for a trip to Copenhagen in October 2023. Kept getting texts that I was accumulating roaming charges. Made multiple calls to them while traveling. Each time they assured me I was on the global pass and do not worry. Joke is on me. I get the November statement and they whacked me for $1400 in roaming charges. After a month of fighting them on this a supervisor gets on the line and tells me my calls probably bounced off a tower in Sweden and Sweden isn't covered. It's 44km to the nearest town in Sweden and it requires crossing the ocean. This company is a scam!!!!! read more

I am giving 5 stars because their wi-fi hotspots are excellent! I use them all the time with little to no problems! Fast! Don't ever let these people in your home to run a cable to the cable box. They said the could "hide" it. They ran the cable line on side of the house and drilled a hole. Looks like it was done by a kid! read more

The two that help me with my phone issues are amazing--my experience with ATT was always hour-long sessions. The wonderful nice woman had my phone up and running in 15 minutes. She definitely knew her stuff. The two employees wish I knew their names were extremely nice, and that made me feel very comfortable. Slow slow slow. Be prepared to spend a good amount of time here. Maybe that is why they have equipment throughout the store for you to play with. Customer service agents busy engaging in small talk. They try to sell you services you don't want. Over priced for what you get. Then when you are about done they will tell you to call the customer service number to finish setting things up. Worst customer service ever. I signed up for a new "package" (marketing games to force you to purchase the service they want you to have by setting price points for lesser services so high that you purchase higher priced packages) that included "unlimited internet" only to find myself receiving $90 overage fees for one month. The lady at Comcast in Joliet very clearly told me that if I upgrade to the package with unlimited internet that it would be unlimited. A month later I started receiving messages that my data usage was close to exceeding the limit, so I called "customer service". The nice person from India told me this was an error and confirmed I had unlimited internet. She said she fixed the problem and not to worry. Well, a few months later with more of the warnings coming in for data usage overage, I received a $90 charge for exceeding the monthly allowance. I called "customer service " again and after 1 hour and 40 minutes on the phone (yes I have screen shots) I learned I don't have unlimited data and the charges will remain. I hate Comcast!!!! I will replace their service or limit it until I can permanently replace them. Buyer be aware - stay away from Comcast!!! My rating is 0 Stars! read more

Amazing service! If you want to avoid the phone, just go into their store and get everything you need. Totally worth it! There might be a waiting time but with anything that is in high demand that is to be expected. While waiting though I was asked if I wanted water. Reassured of my time in line and plenty to do to check out the new technology. When it was our turn we were taken care of. Our questions were answered and products offered in which we were not a ware of. We left with more than we were looking for and most importantly it saved us money! read more

While the queue was long due to the ratio of customers to workers, Rafael apologized and was able to get me set up very quickly. Andres N. is a terrific employee at the Joliet Xfinity store. An employee at the Oak Brook, IL store was promising concern, but delivering delay (actually, not responding at all...crickets). Andres took the time to solve a problem and I am so grateful. Because of him, I will not cancel my Xfinity service.
