Horrible quality of food. I've been coming to this place for years but the food was inedible. I got it to go. So, nothing I could say at the time. The chicken was rock hard and dry. The mashed potatoes had chunks the size of quarters. The gravy hadn't been heated and look like turkey jelly. Great service from the bar staff. Hoffible cook that knew they were boxing up something that should have went in the garbage. 5/27 visit

Fish and chips. A lot of tasty fish. $17.50 and worth it

Dropped in for dinner with friends. Three had the fish and chips, I tried the pot roast. The fish was very good. They all had the three piece as opposed to the two. You get three large pieces of hand dipped crispy fish. Good flavor. Fries are fine. Coleslaw is fine. If you're into tartar get extra, there is a lot of fish. I would think this meal is five star. Problem arose with the pot roast. Meat was tender, but bland. Gravy was awful. Tasted like jar bought. Kind of ruined the 'roast'. Mashed potatoes OK. Veggies were poor. Looked steamed? No color or flavor. Didn't eat them. Desperate for some time on the grill. Service was fine. Homey interior.

Atmosphere was great! Country music, comfortable booths. Service outstanding! The food was a bargain. I had the roast chicken, good but a little overcooked. My husband had the fish n chips which were excellent. They have a great tsp list. We each had two beers - the RPM IPA and Vicious Mosquito IPA. All for about $50.

Amazing pizza, tasty drinks, great prices and very friendly staff. Lots of space for groups or to watch anything on tv. Highly recommend.

Food was good! We were looking for pizza on our stay to Mt. Hood and asked a couple locals for a recommendation and they recommended this place! The inside had awesome vibes, super cozy and dark ambience which created a nice atmosphere. The waitress was the sweetest ever! The cheese pizza wasn't the best but the meat pizza was bomb. So good and the ranch is fireee, you gotta get the ranch. Salad was a bit of a rip off considering how expensive it was and how basic it was but oh well. Got a cider on tap which was yummy. Overall we'd totally come back next time we visit

Food was delish. We got the sausage pepperoni mushroom pizza to go and snagged a beer with a mix stick app. Bartender was silly and fun and on point. Great atmosphere.

    Good hot coffee!

Great mountain ambience with very homey and friendly service! Food was okay - but the vibe and location are the reason to go there!

Cute little restaurant! Very "lodge" style, older and somewhat worn. Pizza was great! Crust was the best I've had in ages. Meatballs were average....garlic toast very average! Server was great as were the rest of the staff! Would recommend if up in this area!

My fiance planned a wonderful mountain getaway for us, and lucky for me- we had dinner reservations here. It was so chilly in December, We had a cold mountain day, and we bundled up to go to our dinner reservations and I have to say- I wasn't expecting much when I heard the name "Grill". I was thinking- burgers, fries, your typical post-ski grub. I was wrooong! We strolled into the coziest little restaurant and were greeted by the two lovely people working there. Felt like I very sweet family vibe. They steered us in the directions of the pasta dishes we ordered, and we had the Soup of the Day to start- I believe it was some kind of Tomato bisque and that hit the spot. The Hazelnut pasta was a hit for my fiance, and I loved that he got to try such a classic Oregon flavor in a pasta- how fun. My chanterelle ravioli filled me up so fast, I also loved being able to try chanterelles in this format. Both dishes felt very creative and full of so much Oregon pride! Delicious!

This place was busy and had no visible parking out front but we noticed a half broken sign that said more park..so we went down a gravel drive and found some free spots for our cars. It was so crowded inside we asked to sit out in the patio area. The weather was lovely and that mountin morning breeze felt great! I got the chicken fried steak and one pancake with the marionberry compote (only available in season jun-aug) on top. This was probably one of the better Chicken fried steaks I've had. Its season well, crunchy, and it sits on a bed of peppery gravy. The potatoes are soft and the eggs were cooked perfectly over medium. The biscuit that came with was also soft and buttery. If you're a CFS lover, I highly recommend this one. The pancake was for the table and we all agreed the marionberry was the star of the show! So sweet and citrisy! The pancake was golden crispy with a fluffy center and had a delicious vanilla note. It was a great place to fuel ourselves for the road while reminiscing on an epic girls weekend!

That said, the food has some catching up to do. The complimentary bruschetta is a nice touch in concept but the execution falls flat. The bread is a basic sourdough with a thin, uneven drizzle of olive oil and herbs. Some pieces arrived nearly bare. A little more care and consistency here would go a long way. For my entrée I tried a salmon pasta special. The salmon itself had a lovely texture, which gave me hope but the sauce threw everything off. It was oddly sweet which clashed with what should have been a savory balanced dish. It's not bad enough to send back but it's not something I'd order again. Overall, this spot has a solid foundation with its friendly and efficient service. It was a pleasant enough experience but don't come with sky-high expectations for the plate.
