Worst customer service I've experienced in 10 years. Brian at the customer service desk treated me like I was wasting his time while I was trying to purchase a large order of materials for my job site. I wasted an hour of my time and left with nothing because his attitude was so bad, I had to walk away. This was the second time in the past month that I have had this kind of experience at this store. Me and my wife walked into Ziggy's and ask the man at the counter where the selection of metal roofing was... He didn't look up but said "what's that on the wall behind me.. (it was halfway across the building and only samples anyway... ) We walked the whole parameter, saw at least 6 people and not one acknowledged we were there... Never Again... read more

We have been so impressed with the prices, customer service and products in the last few years.

DO NOT USE ZIGGYS! The communication between their admin/sales, floor, and delivery services are less than poor. The sales will tell you anything and make promises that the floor and especially delivery cannot/will not keep. This makes it frustrating when you've already paid for and waited weeks/months on "custom" items you can no longer return. Their prices are not competitive. Their stock is always limited and you always have to wait for items that turn into weeks or months out. Our custom ordered trim LP was supposed to take a couple weeks to get to us. It took them 10 weeks from our purchase date to finally get it to us. We just paid for a delivery of doors and siding and specifically stated these have to be off loaded into the building by hand (because we just got fresh sod and concrete curbing) which was agreed upon and confirmed by the sales rep that the delivery guy(s) would do it. On the day of delivery, one guy shows up and says he's not doing that and put the items out in the driveway. We would have just taken our trailer in and picked the items up ourselves and saved us the $100 delivery fees if we'd known we were gonna get hung out to dry. I won't ever use Ziggys again and I would never recommend anyone use them either. read more

I will never, NEVER buy lumber here again. I've been at Ziggys several times the last few months/ Their less expensive 1x6x6 flat top cedar fence boards were marginal to say the least. There is no pick and choose, or refunds. So what you get is what you get. Sure, it's less expensive than the other lumber, but S**t is still S**T. I have been able to work with the crap I have got, but these last two times? They should be ashamed of the crap they are putting out. The boars they are drawing from now are from a different place, and they are SHIT! In my last project, I calculated that I would need 85 boards. However, 52 of these boards don't just have known holes, they are WORTHLESS! That's like throwing money away. It isn't just known holes, it's known holes. mold, LONG cracks, and edges looking like they had been scraped with something. I just wanted to post this for the next guy that wants to get some. Savemore in the valley had a lot better wood for $1.59 per board. That's where I have to go now. I cannot afford to throw money away like I have at Ziggy's read more

One star is usually not what I would put for a local business, however this specific location employees deserve no stars! After selling us a product and assuring us that if it doesn't work we can bring it back no questions asked... we realized that we payed double on what we would pay else where we decided to bring the items back to either price match or return (we are not a business and return was under $500) we were told that this item is not returnable because it's cut. (They cut it for us btw!) there was one guy particularly that just needs to find a job where he won't interact with customers. Do your self a favor and go somewhere else to buy your stuff bad service is the worst! read more

I think I just experienced my best customer service I have had in 72 years on this earth. I was planning on roofing my shed 24x24, 6/12 pitch. I had a couple of roofing buddies coming the next day (Saturday) to "help" me. I have just come off of cancer drugs (Prednisone, etc.) so I wasn't allowed on ladders. I paid more to have the shingles "delivered" to the roof. Friday morning just after 7:30am The Ziggy's truck arrived . Dennis the driver ser up the conveyor belt and said I would need to get on the roof and stack the shingles. WHAT?!. I told him the I couldn't get on the roof. Dennis said he was not allowed to. At this point, I called my salesperson, Tom and explained that I couldn't even get on a ladder because of the meds. To my surprise... no, my udder shock, Tom said I will be right there. A few minutes later, Tom showed up with Scott, who I believe is a manager, both got on the very slippery roof nailed down some lubber so the shingles would stay on the roof... remember I said it was really slippery. They stacked all the material. for the roof job, came down and left. I am a guy used to giving, not getting, but that day I was a receiver and incredibly blessed. Thanks guys Joe read more

It's very unfortunate.... I really dislike giving one star... I only have a handful of times. I keep going to Ziggy's looking for building material, etc... every time I visit, I leave frustrated. I've never purchased anything here, because I couldn't get an employee to help me, and from what I've seen, their prices are insane! Like I said... It's unfortunate. Ziggy's Installed my roof five years ago using defective vent pipe collars resulting in four leaks and extensive mold in my attic. They admit using the defective collars that allowed for rain and snowmelt to drain directly into my attic. They not only used the defective collars on my roof, but other roofs in the area (check your roof and attic folks!). They have since come out and replaced the rain collars with cheap no calk, no nails rubber boots. Against all common sense they deny that the leaks had anything to do with the mold, even though I had no mold in 2017 when they installed the roof. Mold remediation contractors tell me the mold formed because of excess moisture from the leaks in the enclosed space. They tell me it will cost $13,000 to fix. Ziggy's pretends to be a good local neighbor. Nonsense. Buyer beware! read more

My husband and I saw a grey pantry that was under $500 and a grey vanity also under $500. The salesman said the pantry was a return and was marked down. We were in our car so we said we would come back tomorrow with our truck. When we got there the next day the pantry was now close to $900 and the vanity was over $600. When we asked the same salesman what happened, he said we had a price increase. I asked him, "Even on the returned pantry?". Another salesman that was standing there said,"We have to make money somehow?" My husband and I (we are both 67 yrs. old) left pretty confused, and disappointed about what just happened. Ziggy's is so much fun to walk through and dream of all the projects I can do. They have some unique things as compared to the big box stores. Like log siding and accent stonework. The log siding worked out really well for my interior walls. Turned my plain drywall into a work of art. read more

We're trying to support local over big box stores, but they have to do their part too and either staff or hire more people. Kayla is a terrible cabinet designer. Her communication with customers is sub par, although she talks a lot. We did have to listen to her stories about a vacation to Mazatlan, her kids, and her brows and how she's in a ziggy's commercial. Ummm we don't care! We bought 18k worth of cabinets from her for a new construction project. Hardly a cabinet was right, had to cut walls, remove trim, use fillers, all this stuff is on back order, thanks Covid, talk about disappointing and delays that added up to big bucks. She argued and denied making any mistakes and then finally admitted that she overrode the final measurements because "it didn't look right". Instead of sending someone back out to remeasure she just overrode them and placed order, knowing the cabinets had a 6 month wait time..... Ziggy's did their best to fix it after the fact.... They would NOT reorder the correct cabinets due to the back order situation which is what we wanted for the price we paid. She also did the cabinets for our rental property that we spent 10k on a kitchen remodel. Those cabinets were also incorrectly ordered, in the wrong color, and two were the wrong size. Ended up having to keep the wrong color and cut one of the cabinets down to make it work. Kayla sucks! I will never use them again. read more

The positive is this store loads your building materials so if my husband is short one piece of OSB or a roofing bundle I can go pick it up for him. The down side is sometimes the loading guy that helps you is an idiot. Different colored roofing, two right and one wrong, when I only bought three bundles to finish a job or loading 1/2 inch osb instead of 5/8. I think this comes from them working fast and not taking the time to read labels and receipts. Double check what they load in your truck before you leave. read more

I attempt to purchase materials from Ziggy's every other year forgetting my experience from 2 years ago. Every other year I'm reminded of what a belittling experience I have each time I don't know everything about construction when I ask for help from the staff. ziggy was always kind of a kooky place in that you have to wait in line to compile an order at the service desk then wait again to pay at the cashier then wait yet again to pick up you goods. how could they have gotten any worse? the kids who work there now don't know the time of day, could care less about you or your order and their prices have skyrocketed compared to other lumber yards. sorry to see you go ziggy. read more

Don't waste your time. If you are are not a contractor you are not welcome. Arrived at 11:00 am on Friday 8/24/2018 to schedule a bathroom remodeling service. Started at the "customer service" desk. Four employees were working: one on the computer, one on the telephone and two in a conversation. Nobody else was at the "customer service" desk but we were never even acknowledged. No wonder the parking lot is empty. Don't bother if you are a lowly consumer. read more
