Over the years I seen the ups and downs of the center. Right now things are going very good. The place is clean, it's open 24 hours with your key card, caters to Silver Sneakers members and the workers are friendly and helpful. This winter I had an issue with my key card not working. I told Bria at the front desk and she immediately took the card, went outside in the -20 weather to try it out. She went on the computer, did something and I haven't had a problem since. When the wife and I became Silver Sneakers members, Bria handled the paper work and it has been smooth sailing ever since. I use the center at least 6-7 times a week and highly recommend it.

So far I've done Zumba and yoga, but my favorite classes, hands-down, are the candlelight yoga and various other yoga and movement workshops with Michelle Anthony. Some game masters are better than others which can make a room more enjoyable. The hardest one in my opinion is the wizard one. There was a lot to it to get through in an hour but if you have a bigger group it might help. Ascension was really unique and had a lot of different kinds of puzzles compared to most escape rooms that we really liked to experience. Location: conveniently inside the oak wood mall.

They were a decent amount of animals to look at from birds to bears. The only downside is that the animal exhibits were only a few which isn't bad if you're three for picnics or exploring the forest/play on one of their various playgrounds. They do have a concession stand in their welcome center but doesn't look like much. All in all, a good place to spend a summer afternoon if you way to plan a picnic or do something outdoors as well as spend some time petting animals!

We spent a good couple of hours just watching them doing bird things, including ostentatious displays of power and mating ability. This year, we went in fall and the birds were away. We did see some bison behind a fence. It's quite amazing to be three feet away from them, something which you wouldn't be able to do safely in the wild. Further down the road, there are a couple of donated buildings: an early 20th century area school and a 19th century pioneer log home. The school is a particularly fine piece of architecture. Scattered through the park are many pavilions and covered picnic tables. It's a great park and zoo!
