Roach/bug inside hot curry!!!!!!! Customers Beware !!!!
    Varun P.

Roaches in the curry!!! The worst food ever!!!! This is the first time i am going to this place. I ordered a navratna kuruma to go, but never knew that it would be a non veg kurma with a roach inside. I took the food back to the restaurent and they just wont refund the money.. seriously??? With the crap un unhygenic food and then showing attitude? I had to call the credit card company to finally resolve it. Please if you need healthy food for you and your family... if you care for your young ones pleaase please please dont buy from this place. This is the fist and last time i am going there.

They have a small dining area inside the grocery store. Their mixed grill and fried fish are very good dishes.

Teso Life is the best place to find a great variety of cute collectibles, beauty products, snacks and more! This is a review long overdue; I've been to Teso many times before, with my first few times way back when it first opened and they had photos of the store thiefs printed and posted on their front door (it always gave me a chuckle, but I think for legality purposes they had to take those photos down RIP). Ironically it was because of those photos that caught my interest to check out Teso, because it was reminiscent of the kind of public shaming behavior I'd see within Asian communities haha. I enjoy treating myself in Teso when I can; they have a huge selection of Chinese Lays, Japanese gummies, childhood favorites like Calbee and Meiji. Huge selection of drinks too, and endless rows of beauty products ranging from hair styling, coloring, mascara, facial masks, etc all packaged in a very aesthetic layout, and you'd know anything you get is going to be good. I've gotten good quality home sandals here too, and enjoy the soft serve ice cream options in their refrigerated areas.

At the checkout counter I was given a orange reusable TESO Life shopping bag featuring their cute monkey logo. It was a thoughtful touch and a souvenir from my visit. The only downside I noticed was the lack of staff available on the sales floor. If you're just browsing, that's not a big issue, but if you need help finding a specific item, it maybe difficult to get assistance since the only employees I saw during my visit were working at the cash registers. Overall, it's a fun store to explore, especially if you enjoy discovering unique items that are difficult to find anywhere else.

The food was a beautiful texture with the soft, perfectly steamed rice. I enjoyed this so much. I'm sure the Lumpia is perfect as well. I love that there is a Filipino store attached because they do sell stuff that the asian market near us doesn't sell and it's very specific. The restaurant has a lot of potential, the food was authentic and tasty. They have a small stage for performances and karaoke. With proper marketing I can see this as the place to be on a Friday or Saturday night. Our meal was comp'd which was great, just like to disclose this. We didn't get much because it was pretty much my wife and I eating and my two kids wouldn't each much, so they could just share. We got lumpia, chicken adobo, pork adobo, dinaguan, and pinakbet. I don't usually eat dinaguan and pinakbet, but I had some and it was delicious. It's Turo-turo style which is cool but if I was someone who was unfamiliar with Filipino food, which is a large majority of people in DFW, I'd have labels on the food or even have some samples that people know, ur pancit, Sinigang, sisig. The food was really good as it stand the most authentic tasting food in DFW. Please give them a try.

It was warm and muggy when I walked but it isn't a big deal. First off, you cannot compare this place to HMart!!! They are completely different grocery stores because this one is 100% Korean and it's older. It is clean but it could be cleaner. All items sold at this store are in Korean and a little bit of English. There are English speaking people here (not a lot of them) however everyone does speak Korean which is fine by me because the staff were very very kind! Also, they do not sell fresh herbs or produce. Most of their food sold are packaged or frozen which come straight from Korea. They do have fresh meats and fish but I personally wouldn't buy meats here. All the fresh produce that they have like apples or Napa cabbage which aren't kept in coolers. They are on the floor around the open freezers which was odd because the store itself was not cold, it was warm throughout the store and I went here when it was 50 degrees outside. There array of numerous choices of frozen products are AWESOME! I will come back to buy dumplings and kimche and the selling point of this grocery store is that the prices are GOOD! for authentic imported Korean products, prices are so reasonable which is the best selling point of this place. Overall, I would go back just to by prepackaged and frozen food.
