I did not otherwise stay here! -- The place is easy to find and rather big, but if you go into the main check in area, they'll direct you to where the shuttle pick up spot is. The staff are professional and friendly, and I ABSOLUTELY recommend using their shuttle if you are in anything other than a jeep perhaps because the road out to the trailhead is ROUGH. I read that online and it's very true; the shuttle costs $8 and they take you about 3/4 of the way there in a big van, but the road is so rough that last bit that even the van can't go there and you have to walk. If it's been raining, I also wouldn't even try coming out here because the roads become an absolute disaster. All this said, I had a good experience! They pick up and drop off every 30 mins and I didn't wait more than 10-15 mins for my pickup after finishing the hike. Would def use these folk's shuttle again if I was coming back out to obs point :)

And then there's Clear Creek Ranch. Smells sometimes escape me (broken nose from a fight at Enclave - something to do with strippers, Ukrainian mob, etc.), but the smell of wood and earth penetrated my senses and settled in as I watched the sun set behind some mountains west. This sprawling lodge had 10+ rooms, bunk beds for the kids and dedicated/shared bathrooms to house way many more people than our paltry group of 10. A kitchen with all the necessities and a wide open parlor that's anchored by a fireplace and a spectacular view of a pond outside and Zion not far beyond. The internet didn't work, but was assured that connection there was usually reliable, but I found this disconnect a welcome feature. No calls, no urgent emails to respond to, no NOISE that we seldom notice as we've become numb to it's incessant need to grab our attention. This was our first time in Zion and we were completely and utterly spoiled. We picked a room that could occupy 4 and settled in. A sprawling fireplace dominated the central common area and was overlooked by a balcony on the second floor that had a second suite of rooms available. The outside patio feature picnic tables and both a charcoal and a gas grill. The property was managed by Gordon, a true to life cowboy whom you'd probably want to throw a few beers back together to hear what stories he had behind smiling eyes. Behind the lodge was a vaunted obstacle course that a sorority was using for pledge week. This is a no holds barred obstacle course that my broken body can no longer dream of tacking, but local law enforcement and military use regularly. The Zion entrance is just 5 minutes away, making this location was ideal. I'm running out of words to describe the magnificence of this place. It's everything and more than a city boy like me would envision of a mountain getaway. I love this place and so will you.

The amenities alone stand out--clean, well-lit facilities, warm showers, and even heated floors (yes, heated floors!). Everything is thoughtfully provided on an honor system, which adds to the welcoming, trusting atmosphere. When we arrived, we realized we had accidentally booked our stay one day too early. Instead of turning us away, they graciously offered us a boondocking spot and invited us to a once-a-week complimentary dinner for all guests. It turned into a wonderful evening around the fire pit, connecting with fellow travelers. Meeting the owners was an added highlight--they were as warm and inviting as the meal they shared. We feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon this special place in the middle of such a beautiful desert.

Can't say enough about Ashley who checked in on our fur babies while we out exploring the area! She is professional but yet treated our 2 standard poodles like they were hers. We were out longer than expected, sent her a text saying we would be later than expected. Ashley went and checked on our girls providing true peace of mind!! I wish more campgrounds offered pet setting services. This is a wonderful place for photographers and astronomers of all levels. So much to see and do!

Coral Pink Sand Dunes was SO much fun! This was definitely one of my favorite experiences on our…read moreroad trip. We took an ATV ride out into the dunes and then got to try sandboarding, which was such a fun experience! We stayed to watch the sunset and got some absolutely beautiful pictures as the colors changed over the dunes. Then, to top off the night, we made s'mores under the stars. From the ATV ride and sandboarding to the sunset and s'mores, this was such a memorable experience and definitely something I would recommend!

Renting a sandboard or sled from the visitor center is a must and makes trekking up the steep slopes well worth the quad burn. The park is very popular with OHVs, so expect engine noise in certain areas, though there are dedicated zones reserved solely for hikers. Go early in the morning or near sunset to avoid scorching midday sand temperatures and to catch the dunes at their most dramatic colors. They do clean them every morning, but it doesn't stay clean by evening. Too many people. It's very crowded, lots of people everywhere and waiting for everything. Has the theme park experience. The shuttle is constantly running into the park from the campground. We had to wait for an hour each way on a Friday for it. There's no other way up unless you are staying at the hotel. Parking is limited and the shuttle is pretty much mandatory. A ton of locals came in that day randomly and it was super packed. The rest of our stay we only had to wait 5 mins for the shuttle. You have to buy coins for the shower either at the showers or at the local sports shop, it's walking distance from the campground. The showers are not at the campground, but next to the sports shop. They closed early one day and the machine at the showers was broken so we couldn't buy coins. We were hot, sweaty and covered in sunscreen so it was pretty miserable to skip a shower. We planned ahead the rest of the trip and didn't have to buy coins last minute. Showers get busy and there is a wait.

If you require a respite from the intense summer heat, this campsite is an excellent option…read more although it is the most remote campsite in Navajo Lake, it remain remains conveniently accessible. The host are attentive and diligently monitors the campsite. there is ample space between each campsite, ensuring privacy. however, the nearest restroom lacks lighting - space 34 - it is advisable to bring a headlamp for evening use.

August 31 - Sept 3, 2026 - Zion National Park…read more We stayed here for 3 nights, and there's really nothing like staying inside Zion National Park. We had beautiful mountain views right from our campsite. Our site had electric hookups, but no water or sewer. There is an RV dump station on site, which also had water available for tank fills. The location is definitely the biggest advantage. Every morning, we could walk a short distance to the shuttle and head out for another great hike. We could also walk to the Visitor Center. And, both a blessing and a curse, it was an easy walk across the bridge into Springdale, where we had a couple of meals and a few drinks at Zion Brewery. Just remember to take your park pass and ID with you--you'll need them to get back into the park. When I made the reservation, I chose a shady site fairly close to the river. Then we arrived on a day when there were flash floods, and suddenly being close to the river didn't seem like such a great idea. Our site also had a tree with low-hanging branches that rubbed the top of our RV whenever the wind picked up. I definitely questioned my campsite choice a few times. This isn't a campground where you're going to feel completely "away from it all." We could see Cable Mountain Lodge across the river, and the lights from the lodge and businesses in Zion Canyon Village were noticeable at night. There was some noise, too. But honestly, the location more than made up for it. Being right in the park and having such easy access to the shuttle was worth it. And watching the sunset over the mountains from our campsite, then waking up to deer hanging out just a few feet from our RV, was pretty special. We'd definitely stay here again.

Pros I side the campground walking distance to the little town get the bus to Zion park or rent e-bikes to get around. No cars allowed to the Narrows. Get the bus to the town of Springdale eat shop rent stuff. Cons: expect delays this is in the national park always a line to get in walking riding a bike or driving your car. If going to the Narrows busses start around 7 or 8 am. Bike pickup are early whenever you want them so pick up your bike early to get back into the park before the line starts. Campsites are big not all crunched up you have plenty of space between you and your neighbor. When it's a little windy no fires and hat so ever. Flushable toilets squirrels are aggressive here taking a nap outside and a got scratched by one.

We stayed at site R15, and I personally think it is THE best site on the grounds. The only reason I took a star off is they give you one token per person per day, which is for a hot, 6-minute shower. I've never camped anywhere where they give you barely enough time to shower. At least make it a solid 10-minute shower. That was bananas. I was scared to be sudsy and my shower cut off or something. Other than that, LOVED this place! They have a small pool that we did not ever go in, but the Virgin River was fun! Bring a tube to blow up or go buy one at the hardware shop. If we ever go to Zion again, we will definitely stay here and try to get site R15.

The front desk staff was great but the other staff such as housekeepers and groundskeepers weren't very friendly here, seems like it really hurts to even say goodbye morning. We stayed in a cabin this time around and had an ant problem. Mind you we didn't have any food with us. They took care of the issue right away but we still had an ongoing issue My parents stayed at the campground and they enjoyed it. Personally, the price is very high. The river is nice to have nearby. The views and location overall is really nice. I do think more trees would be beneficial especially during the summer months. There is one pool which gets pretty crowded. Hopefully with the high prices they will consider adding a second pool or splash pad for kids. Lastly, and this isn't really the businesses issue although I think the unfriendliness of staff is a result of the climate in today's world. A family staying in the cabin next to us clearly did not like Hispanics. Male white in his 50s approximately 130 pounds wearing a MAGA hat A female Hispanic or Asian 40 years old approx 150 pounds A 14 year old Asian mix boy And possibly a younger boy The male said a racist comment to me as his son laugh and then stared at me as I walked to my car because I was Hispanic. Yet his wife looked hispanic and son Asian. I responded with that was incredibly rude and to have a nice day. The poor man is a confused coward. But I couldn't help but notice every single worker I saw was indeed white, so again the man is confused because I'm not white so I don't work at this facility. It's sad that that family will breed hate into this world and the man probably can't sleep at night because brown people exist haha. That's not what we need in today's world . But for me and my house we will continue to be brown and praise Jesus! I think my family and I will try to stay somewhere else next year.

When we asked them to lower it we were confronted with obstinance and told it was Utah state law to keep it that high. Well that's not true and it's a dangerous temperature. Subsequent request were met with angry retorts. So I called the Health Department and it finally got resolved. Now guests can enjoy the spa. What a bunch of arrogant employees.
