We spent a week there. It's a great park, mature trees and easy access to park. Interior roads are good as are the sites level. WiFi is outstanding. Nice neighbors thru out the park. But what liked most was the owner, Brent. Met us as we arrived and guided us to the spot. You would see him daily doing maintenance and making improvements. Always had good thing to say and one day took our trash away for us. Thanks Brent for a great time and we'll see you the next time we're in the area. read more

Zion West RV Park was perfect for me and my friend. We rented an Escape Campervan from Phoenix and were scattering to find a place to stay in Zion. Brent was the most accommodating person ever! Our drive up to Zion took longer than expected but they still let us stay over!! The women's bathroom was very clean, 2 toilets, 2 sinks and 2 showers. The view of the sun rising on the mountains were gorg! Def recommend this RV park! read more

Sheila cancelled my reservation less than 24 hours before I was supposed to check in with a poor explanation. I appreciate the refund, but not the timing (got the email in the middle of the night and didn't see it until I woke up the morning of check-in) and the reasoning being that they accidentally overbooked. Thanks for the refund, I really do appreciate that. Just not so much the part where I'm screwed on lodging for the weekend. read more

This is a small, clean, RV park that seems geared mainly for long-term residents. There is limited camping space, but what was awesome is that they allowed us to camp on the lawn in our tents on a busy weekend where everyone else was completely booked out! This customer service is what makes me give them such a high rating, as without them we would've been homeless for the evening. Amenities: laundry room, bathrooms (a bit small, at least on women's side: 2 toilets and 2 showers) and a few picnic tables. Wifi was not working well when we were there. read more

We've stayed here several times and have enjoyed it very much. It borders an alfalfa field and I love walking the dogs along the edge of the field. Beautiful grass area for people, not for dogs. Every time we stay there is a wonderful thunderstorm and a warm breeze that feels delightful. The little town is quaint, worth the walk to read all the historic plaques. Friendly staff and lovely views keep us coming back. One night pull through $40. read more

Just called this RV park and spoke to one of the rudest people I've ever spoken to on the phone. He laughed when I asked for availability in February and when I asked him what he was laughing about... he proceeded to tell me what information I should have "led with." We all know customer service is a must... this man was a poor example of that and his misery manifested itself during my phone call with him. read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a campsite. AVOID this place. I wanted to take a weekend camping trip to Zion National Park and this place was the only one in the area that had campsites available. I called and spoke to Brett who told me he had a site available for me. I let him know I was driving 6 hours from California and would arrive around 7-8pm. He seemed a bit uptight about me arriving so late but ultimately said he would see me when I arrived. The drive took a bit longer and my eta went up to 8:30 pm. I called when I was an hour out and had driven 5 hours already to let him know I'd be arriving soon. He was so incredibly mean, rude, unpleasant. He complained about my late arrival and gave me a very hard time and terrible attitude saying I had told him I would get there earlier and I should be there already. Ultimately he told me I could not come and hung up on me. Everything in the area including all hotels were booked and I currently am stranded with nowhere to go. Just so folks know what is going on. I was not told to leave. I left on my own after watching the park go down hill. This guy Jim does not know what he is talking about. Super friendly community. Bathrooms and showers well-maintained. We brought two tents and there was plenty of shade for us. They lit up a campfire so the kids could have s'mores. We will be back! read more

Very disappointing experience last week and would caution others about coming. We called 3 weeks in advance and reserved a spot for a 4 day trip over spring break. The day before our arrival we called again to confirm our reservation. It was confirmed and we received the spot number to arrive at. We arrived at about 1:30 PM and the designated lot was still occupied. The owner was not at the RV park as he has a separate full time job. We called him and he told us to try and kick out the people in our spot ourselves. They weren't there and didn't appear to be coming back soon as their trailer hitch had a lock on it. The owner told us he couldn't do anything about it and that he couldn't be there in person until he got out of work in a few hours. Our kids were tired after traveling several hours. We were extremely frustrated and couldn't believe we were left out to dry. We spent 2 hours trying to find a new RV park but they were all full due to Utah County spring break. We finally found a different place in St George that was much cleaner and better managed. It was appalling how little the owner cared about the predicament he put us in and nearly ruined our spring break that had been planned for several weeks. I will not go back and would caution any one else to steer clear if they want a stress free experience. Another concern was the size of the lot itself, it didn't not appear our 5th wheel would have even fit anyway with the slide outs extended. read more

My family just stayed for four nights at Zion West R.V. Park, and was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations and hospitality of the park and owner. It is a quiet, safe and dog friendly Rv park. Rented a tent here for four nights. It was really great. Clean and nice space with a heater for the colder evenings. We had use of a grill. Bathrooms were clean and there is a coin-op laundry facility on site. The people running the park were nice and friendly. I'd come back if I'm in the area again. read more

We spent a night on our way south and it was very quiet. The owner was very nice and the rest rooms were warm and clean. The driveway could use some cleaning as it looked like horses had been there. We would stay there again though and would be great for visiting Zion. read more

If you need a quick, clean and safe place to stay and everything is booked closer to the parks then Zion West will do! The owner Brent is a super nice guy and really tries to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The Camp host Don is also a really great guy who did everything he could to make sure we were okay since they put us on a grass site and had to run a longer hose and extension cord for power. He went out of his way more than once including making sure we could dump before we left since we were not in a full hookup spot. read more

If I could give it less than one I would. Please keep in mind that my review is soley based on my interaction with whomever I spoke with when I called to try and book a reservation. The person who answered didn't say hello or use the name of the Campgrpund he just said, "this is _______" (I honestly thought he said Brent, but couldn't understand him enough to know for sure. I told him I was calling to book a reservation for one night and after some time the only thing he said was, "I'm gonna have to say no." That was it. No explanation. No, "sorry we are booked" just nothing. I hadn't even told him anything about what size space we need or anything. Very unprofessional. Extremely rude. It might be a nice place, but I plan on posting this everywhere so people know how how they handled business. I am a military wife, and I'll make sure I post this on all of the wives pages, and such to spread the word as well. read more

Wow. What an awesome RV Park in Southern Utah. Manager Brent is so very friendly and helpful. All of the washers and driers work, power and water is constant, and the trees are in bloom. I know that guy Gary. He was asked to leave because he was rude to the guests, and there was a godawful smell coming out of his camper. We all thought he was The Unibomber. So, the owner, Brent let me keep my old RV parked next to my new one temporarily while I repaired some lighting problems. Thanks Brent. Sure glad we got that old terrorist removed. So... ToughTiger I'm curious. You spend an inordinate amount of time criticizing Zionswest RV Park. You point out how you are of such superior stock compared to other people who paid to stay at the park. And you do so at, according to my understanding, about the time that the new owner took over. Well, please do keep your deeply held self image, and keep it some place where your sensitivities won't be offended so easily. But for me, I am currently visiting this park, and I have experienced absolutely zero of the conditions you elucidated. I know of no fifth wheel RV with tin foil upon the windows. The bathrooms are clean and oft cleaned/serviced as far as I can see. 50 amp power is constant and in interrupted. Water and sewage is likewise. Visitors are aplenty, and in good spirits. The exception is that UniBomber character who was asked to remove himself. So... Life is good here. The trees are in bloom, it's in the mid 70s, the new owner is very friendly and helpful to a fault, everyone is happy, and for the life of me, I cannot picture what it is you have described. I will entertain the possibility that you came during a time when there was a transition between owners, during which time you felt the need to stalk some little boy. Perhaps the new owner had just taken over. Could that be? I know that often people of your obvious high breeding and clear thinking are able to judge situations and people so very accurately as to be... shall we say it? Perfect. Obviously, I must be wrong, as I have been labeled a... "Brown-Noser". And therefore, everything that I now see with my eyes going on here now must not actually be true. I would submit that perhaps you might consider a second look with fresh eyes, and a humble spirit. Cheers read more
