Zippy Klean ruined my car's paint. I had the ceramic coating done and my car was returned with 3 different spots of grazing on the hood of the car that weren't there when I dropped it off! As far as the promised 'water beads up and flows right off' that is a total joke. It beads up and it sits there and leaves water marks worse than any other car in the parking lot. My other 2011 car without ceramic coating looks better than this one! And smudges from my fingers show up on the exterior wherever I touch it and the fingerprints linger until they are wiped away or washed again. This was never an issue before either! I repeatedly texted the owner about this problem when I first picked up the car and he told me I had to let the coating cure for 30 days and they would go away. After 30 days, still a problem and still is and the owner stopped responding to my texts. I recently went through the car wash after months of only hand washing and the brushes left marks on the car. That has never happened before in any vehicle I have ever taken through that car wash and a little research indicates that this is also the sign of poor quality ceramic coating. The interior detail was also worthless. Stains were still there, the leather did not look in any better condition, overall it looked no different from when I do it myself. I wish I had never done business here, my car was in great shape beforehand and I thought this would make it even better but how wrong I was. Think twice before you make the same costly mistake I did. read more

I read the reviews of Zippy Clean and decided to take advantage of a sale they had to get a full exterior detail and ceramic coating. We recently had our car repainted, and the painters recommended getting a ceramic coat to preserve our investment. The owner, Steve, is highly responsive and accommodating in scheduling. He made everything very simple and clear during the booking process, so that I understood the details of what would be included in the price. When I picked up my car, it exceeded my already high expectations (based on the reviews I had read). They were able to remove every watermark, and buffed out so many surface scratches and nicks. The car looks like it came out of a show room. I wash my car weekly and hand polish it every couple of months and it has never looked this nice. Because I work near the ocean, my car gets covered in a light layer of sea salt spray daily, and I feel so much better having the protective layer on it to help preserve the paint. The owner of the company is a man of his word, in that the car was done right on time, no hidden charges, and looks amazing. I've already called a half dozen friends and family to recommend they get an appointment to do this, and my husband will be dropping off our truck in a few weeks as well. Love to support hard working, honest kama'aina-owned businesses that do an amazing job! As a final note, their work area is immaculate. Although not always an absolute, I generally find someone that has a organized and clean workspace tends to be someone that is also detail oriented and a perfectionist. I have a 2018 Sequoia that I had ceramic coated when I bought it. I used Zippy Klean before for a detail on my car and I know that they did a good job so I decided to find out more about their Ceramic Coating as it was about time for a redo. Steven responded right away with a price quote. I was surprised how reasonable the price was for the Worx Ceramic Coating package. Steven got me scheduled within a couple days and even made it easy for me to drop off the car before work and arranged for someone to meet me after work. I really appreciated them working with me so I didn't have to take off. They got the car done on time as promised and it was beautiful. It looked like a brand new car again. The car feels like glass. They explained how I need to take care of it by only wiping with water for the 1st month for the ceramic to set and later if there was any issues to bring it back because I had the lifetime warranty. While picking up my car I saw this beautiful truck and asked if it also had the ceramic and they said no it was just detailed. It was actually came in after being on a farm truck but it looked awesome.. They really do good work. If you are looking for ceramic coating or a detail I'd highly recommend calling Zippy Klean. Nice people who do quality work and stand by their word. While I won't need another ceramic coating on this car I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if I got another car. Had 2 cars detailed about a year ago. The boys worked hard but I still had to spend time cleaning the interiors for a real deep clean. Sent the owner a message and got no reply. Shame. Spent $600 and had to still clean my cars! I should have just spent the extra few hours on each car instead of paying only to have to do a final deep clean. Difficult to get ahold of. Be patient, because they have to arrange a day and time to come to other parts of the island. I didn't know this because the advertisement appears as being located in Hilo, which is not correct. Salesperson did respond after I left a voicemail and then formal requests on the website, but was just not meant to be. Too difficult to communicate with, which kind of foreshadows communication throughout the process and future scheduling. Maybe someday they will work out their communication issues, and they will be more successful. It's too bad because they have such a fancy website and convincing logo to the contrary. Pretty disappointed. $150 for a 40 minute hand wash, a few special sprays on the black plastic and a good wheel/tire cleaning...I didn't know that constituted as a "detail". Sad because I would have loved to be a repeat customer, especially with a mobile service. I just can't swallow spending that kind of money for something I could do just as easily and be able to buy all new cleaning supplies. I'm sure the interior detailing is better but I will be seeking someone else now, unfortunately. read more

Absolutely incredible service. I was able to get an appointment for Friday afternoon on very short notice. My suburban needed a full interior and exterior detailing. Jeff showed up early and worked a straight 4.5 hours until we ran out of daylight. He came back early Saturday morning to finish the job. All said and done, the car is better than new. Does this car even look 20 yrs old? This is my first time getting any of our cars waxed and detailed. Dale worked on this vehicle; this was an early clean up gift lol i thought i had taken before photos but looks like i didnt. Theirs 1 negative part to this review, the trunk was sorta clean but I would've expected the spare tire to have been removed and cleaned beneath it. Maybe he had a reason or may have forgotten but he didnt mention why it wasnt cleaned. Next time ill do a thorough expectation before retrieving my vehicle, overall he still did a good job for a 20 yr old vehicle. Mahalo. read more

will never use this service again. they didnt even do what I paid for. detail means detail. im super bummed and will never use them again cause this has happened 3 times. should have learned the first time :( air vents didnt even get cleaned, nor did all the carpet get vacuumed, still grass. Lots of other stuff wasnt detailed and the headliner left with finger prints and spots. They ended up adding several other fees for additional services that we didn't ask for and ended up paying over $600. This car is brand new. All it had was sand. They took advantage of my wife. The cleaners showed up on time and did a wonderful job with an interior and exterior detailing. I had them come out for 2 separate times after a vehicles sat for a year. They both had a lot of mold which I did my best to remove b4 they came . Also a lot of sand and other things. Each visit they spent a lot of time on each car and I am very happy. Only thing I would say is when spending 150 per car for interior only I would like to see the outside basic wash included aswell.
