First off? They don't do any pre cleaning and therefore the spots that the brushes don't reach i.e. the back of an SUV don't get clean. Second, i was in the process of paying myself when a man ran up to the machine with an iPad in hand asking me what i want, try to upsell me etc., and then scans my card, tells me it didn't work so puts my card in the machine (which was what i was doing to begin with). Doesn't offer me a receipt either I checked my bank account today and i was charged twice, for a bad car wash! The vacuum I used was good, however; to do my passenger side, i had to move because the one on that side didn't work. They had clean towels but they were wet and not sure what was in the bottle, looked like water and it didn't take the big junk off my windows (i just came back from visiting my sisters ranch 2 hrs away). So beware, you may not get a clean car and watch out if the man comes to you with the iPad. My son and I went to this zips location, after using another location prior, and had a great experience. My car looks beautiful and the vacuums were amazing. I had some dog hair in the back that I've haven't been able to get out and these vacuums sucked it right up. The guy that helped us ( Jeremy) was very friendly and made our experience great. On Thursday, July 8, 2021 a Zips Car Wash caused physical damage to our car.  The mechanical devices in the rails that automatically guide and push your car thru their car wash punctured the sidewall of our tire.  Our dashboard warning lights were triggered warning of a tire pressure/inflation problem while our car was still being pushed and guided thru the various washing machinery.  The local Store Manager for the Zips Car Wash location at 6221 Denton Hwy in Haltom City, TX is denying fault.  He is only giving excuses and blame for why the sidewall damage must have been caused by us not the automated equipment.    We are monthly subscribers for multiple vehicles and thus are very frequent paying customers.  It is distressing that Zips Car Wash treats their repeat customers so unsatisfactorily.  We are seeking repair costs for replacing a tire that is punctured and damaged so severely that it is unrepairable.  Zips is still not agreeing to pay for a replacement tire. read more

So not only did the Carwash break my luggage bar, but I was stuck in the Carwash not once, but twice!!! I was so scared and shaking. When I got stuck the second time before the dryers and no one came to help, I just floored it out of there. Parked by the vacuums and surveyed the damage to my car. A guy next to me offered help after seeing what happened and tied it with a shirt. He told me to report it too so I did. When the manager came out to see me, and I explained to him getting stuck in the Carwash twice plus my damage, he couldn't care in the world!! Not one sense of urgency, not one care, no empathy, nothing. Just kept falling back on "you have to go online" and then rolling his eyes and huffing and puffing. I got tired of it and said I wanted his name so I could report it to zips corporate and then he wouldn't give me his name and started acting really weird so I went and got my phone and recorded it because I wanted video of this dude. So the cops ended up getting called and the lady told me that it was a civil matter and I'd have to report it to their corporate so I did and went over to my truck got inside, called corporate and was waiting to talk to them when he started talk to the cops so I wanted to record it to see if I could catch the conversation and he of course didn't like that and told her to tell me to leave for "criminal trespassing". Which I did. Those are the videos. You can hear the music in the background for me being on hold with corporate. Once corporate gets on the phone with me I explain everything to her, Tiff. Not only did she say that his behavior was appalling, but that it WAS his responsibility to have reported the damage and everything to corporate. An "incident report". He was supposed to take all my information take pictures and report it to his district manager. There is no way this dude should have a job, nor should he ever be considered a manager because he showed no managerial professionalism! He couldn't even care about the customer. Also, someone needs to be looking at the tracks in the car wash because I'm still shaking from being thrown around in there having my car damaged and then getting stuck. read more

My car was damaged irreversibly, I was misled and flat out lied to several times by the attendant on-site regarding both the damage and the membership. Your company makes it impossible to get anything resolved- No one has a phone number to get in touch with the facility (even though that is supposedly the only way to submit a damage claim- funny how that works out), everyone seems to hide behind fine print and generalized statements on your policies. I was told "I apologize, we can't do anything in this department... Oh no, they don't have a phone number" more times than I can count. I even emailed the district manager, twice, almost a month ago and received no response. The attendant didn't even have me sign anything until I was out of the carwash and elbow deep, dripping sweat vacuuming out my car and no one is going to read fine print in that situation. I only went by what he had told me- that I was only signing up for a one month $10 membership. The fact ZIPs refuses to make it right is disgusting and wrong. I know nothing will be done about this because ZIPs does NOT care about their customers (I've been trying for over a month). I intend to spread the word to anyone who will listen. Washed my truck there today. The young man at the front was kind and we had a good interaction as usual. Went through the wash and made my way to the vacuums. 1 of the vacuums out of all of the options worked. My truck was filthy. Wheels were a mess after paying the extra money for the package that offered the wheel clean. I went to request another pass through from the young man that had helped my previously. Instead I got aggressive "WHATS THE PROBLEM" from the other guy with gold teeth and a crappy attitude. Told him my truck was still filthy and very kindly requested another pass through. He acted as if I was demanding it and was hostile. Waste of $25. This business needs to close down immediately. Another note. This place is a scam, beware!! We went to get a car wash on July 16th for $15, a one time car wash since this place is far from our house and we just happen to be in the area. Now in October, I noticed I got a charge for $30 from Zips Wash Club and I searched all my previous transactions, they've been charging me $30 every month since August. I called customer service and he couldn't pull up our name or anything until he finally did and said I have an active membership. I never sign up for a membership in the first place, we never sign up any paperwork and did not receive a membership sticker. They took my credit card number and charged me every month for a membership fee without my consent. They didn't even try to refund me for the fees they charged. Beware! There's nothing much I can do because I never sign up any paperwork and cannot prove I did not sign up for a membership but somehow I am a member. Scam! read more

Was offered a unlimited car was for the month for $10. I accepted since it is cheaper than the wash I was going to get. The employee signed me up for the monthly membership that I did not want or agree to. I got charged $10 for that visit and then after reviewing recent charges on my card, I noticed I had been charged $35 dollars for the month and I have not even taken my car there this month. Not only has this place slowly been declining, it's now to the point their machines are scratching your car up, and none of their vacuums ever work. I pay for one of their top memberships and I'm not willing to pay any longer if this is how this business will be ran. To the owner and manager, why aren't you doing preventative maintenance on your equipment at least weekly, but daily for when any employee is hooking up the vacuums? Seriously, how does an employee NOT realize that none of the vacuums work if they're the ones attaching them daily???? This is sloppy and lazy! Not only from the employee, but all the way up to the owner who doesn't have checks and bounds in place. Certain standards should be met and this is below par! Get it straightened up or get new ownership. You don't deserve to make money off paying customers when you are not keeping up to the agreement yourself!
