I requested service over the phone and was quoted at $109 for a repair that would be done that day or the next, it wasn't done for 4 days. I had somebody drop it off for me as I was out of town and was told there was a $60 inspection although they were told what the issue was. This brought the total to $160. Zipzap Computers was recommended by a local battery store when they did not have the battery I thought needed to be replaced in my computer. Christopher ran some tests and said my computer is fine and the problem was most likely in the surge protector/outlet I had been using. He could have charged me for a new battery or charging cable, but he didn't. I value honesty above all else and Christopher exceeded my expectations. I took an iPad to them that had been completely submerged in water. once it dried out it still worked when plugged it but it would not accept a charge. I took it to two different locations who both turned it down as they did not have the correct tools, but one place recommended ZipZap. This was my first time using them. they were able to open my iPad and clean the connections and get it to accept a charge once again. The two young fellows there were professional, helpful, polite and funny. As for honesty... they quoted me a certain price, which was fine. When the phone came in they said "Oh, it's $50 cheaper than our quote!" How cool is that? I'm a retired guy, was there when a couple other older gents came in. I had a amazing experience at ZipZap's! The owner was very kind, professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly fairly price. I wasn't being very smart and I got my phone wet and the other place I called didnt even want to bother to run a diagnostics test or anything. But the professionals at ZipZap's wanted to atleast run a diagnostics test and they found that my phone was surprisingly not as nearly as damaged as we thought it was.
