Not only did they fix my issue, but they also cleaned out my camera and so now my pictures can take clear photos of my ugly mug that I will be able to use AI to Photoshop now that I have my phone back! I did not leave a message because they said just drop in but I got a returned call from them anyway. Everyone was really nice, did not treat me like an idiot, and understood my slight panic of not being able to connect to the internet. They freely shared some great advice on virus and malware protection. And they took my computer in promising to get to it ASAP and, while they could not promise same day, they would try. This was about noon. By 5:30 they had it all cleaned up - inside and out. And it is so fast - I had forgotten how fast my laptop was/is. I cannot recommend them enough - and if you are a ways out and wondering if they are worth the drive, the answer is yes.

Also, this story kind of shows who they are: The 10 year old kid next door had a problem with his tablet, and he decided he was going to get it fixed on his own, so he rode his bike down to Summit. They fixed whatever the problem was while he waited and then let him have it for no charge! He had brought money intending to pay for any repair, but they decided to bless the kid. Good people!

I mailed him a letter asking him to please let me know whether he was interested in working with me. No response whatsoever. DC computers cared about me and my computer building journey and i genuinely felt it. I came in…read morelooking to upgrade the PC i already had with some brand new parts i bought, and instead of slapping everything in there (which i now know wouldn't have worked), and charging me anyway, he gave me the honest truth which was that my computer [14 years old with DDR3 memory] was not only incompatible with the parts i brought, but wasn't worth upgrading/wasting nicer parts on it at all, and I was simply better off buying a new setup entirely. Appreciative, but pretty bummed out, I took everything home and he was nice enough not to charge me for his time. I go home, and a few hours later, DC computers texts me and says they have an extra model for sale that not only met my budget, but would fit the parts I still had so I wouldn't need to return them! I was extatic, and not to mention he was also nice enough to hold onto it for the few days it took to come up with the money i needed to buy it. And lastly he has an adorable feline assistant!
