$2 beers and the nicest bartender you will ever meet. This isn't a crowded place but it's fun to hang out in.

I was excited to see Hell or High Water reopen, and after visiting the new location, I'm happy to…read morereport it's still as weird and wonderful as ever. The new space is bigger, which is nice because the old location could get pretty packed. The vibe is still completely over the top in the best possible way. Everywhere you look there's some new detail you didn't notice before. The cocktails were fantastic. Creative, balanced, and fun without sacrificing quality. And yes, some of them are literally on fire, which feels appropriate given the name. Also, I don't know who was in charge of the decor, but they clearly weren't afraid to commit to a theme. I'll just say there are some very noticeable decorative choices throughout the space that gave our table plenty to laugh about. If you're looking for a standard cocktail bar, this isn't it. If you're looking for a memorable night out, this absolutely is.

This whole place is a VIBE- an absolute must! Small but well utilized space with an eclectic…read morecollection of the most random things, further outdone by Christmas decor and the Grinch inspiring a holiday cocktail menu of its own. Beyond classics (ie: old fashioned) they have put together an incredibly unique blend of ingredients you wouldn't expect to elevate your drink. Definitely enjoyed. Will certainly return!

-All drinks $5 - Cash Only-…read more Fun speakeasy near Union Station. Lincolns absolutely delivers on the speakeasy vibe - from trying to find the door, to figuring out how to actually get inside (LOL), to settling in with drinks once you're finally through. It makes the whole experience feel interactive and memorable. **Tip: it actually isn't too hard to find. I won't completely spoil it for people who want the fun of the hunt, but I'll leave a few hints at the bottom. The drink special that night - their version of an Old Fashioned - was excellent and absolutely worth ordering. The other cocktails are liquor + mixer with the soda or bar gun. We tried a local gin (can't remember the name) & soda and a Four Roses Bourbon & Pepsi. There was a odd flavor that came with that round and tasted watered down. Stick with the special. So good! I'd go back all day for the special alone. The staff was a little bit of an outlier compared to the rest of the experience. Everyone was nice, but they didn't seem especially engaged, and the attire didn't really match the speakeasy atmosphere. That said, the space itself is large and immersive enough that once we had our drinks, we just leaned into the whole experience and had a great time. HINTS: 1. Go to the address listed... duh. 2. Something is COOKING through the glass. 3. Find the stairs down. 4. If you hear music and see some impressive doors, figure out how to LIFT the handle to get inside.

I've been here twice now, and it's officially one of my favorite spots near Union Station. If…read moreyou're looking for a lively, affordable night out, this is it. Atmosphere: The theme here is so cool! It's all about Abraham Lincoln but with a modern, artistic twist. There's really neat artwork everywhere showing different looks of Lincoln. It feels like a true old timey speakeasy. It gets very busy after 8 PM, so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but the energy inside is awesome. Price: This is the most budget-friendly spot I've found in the area. Almost everything is $5! It is CASH ONLY, but don't worry if you forget. They have an ATM inside for you to use. Drink: I ordered the Continental, which is their take on an Old Fashioned with a black cherry. It was delicious and definitely didn't taste like a cheap drink despite the price point. Service: Despite how packed it was, the service was incredibly fast. We got our drinks in maybe 2-3 minutes tops. The staff is efficient and friendly. Overall Experience: Whether you're visiting and staying near Union Station or just looking for a fun local getaway, I highly recommend this place. We walked from our hotel, but if you drive, be prepared to look for street parking or a garage. It's fun, cheap, and has great theme nights. I'll definitely be back!
