I attended Ziva Magic - a free 3 hour live course on line. It was a complete waste of time. I am pretty open to meditation techniques but Emily Fletcher is super strange. She was dancing a lot because she used to be in broadway. Apparently she likes the attention. It got even more weird when she showed how to let go of your anger in an extreme way. I am not even angry so I can't relate to this practice. I purchased a VIP upgrade and that was a joke. I asked for a refund and was denied. Don't waste your time or money on this stuff. read more

I wish I could give more than 5 Stars, as Ziva Meditation and it's lovely, wise, wildly bright, incredibly generous, deeply compassionate, impressively savvy Founder/Mediation Teacher, Emily Fletcher have enhanced my life so much. In 2015, I took the 8-day online meditation course and as soon as the 15-day online meditation course was offered (2018), I jumped on board with that. The 15-day program really helped solidify a 20-minute 2x day meditation practice into my life. I don't even remember the cost of each program, because what I have gained from my investment is immeasurably valuable - from drastically reducing my stress level to up-leveling so many areas of my life. In addition to the 15-day program, Emily shares so many additional gratis offerings. I have found these bonus workshops, live Zooms, Global Meditations, etc. to be so hugely enriching. Emily is an incredible communicator/speaker who uses each minute with her community efficiently and in the spirit of service. As well, you have the benefits of a meditation teacher and life coach in one person! I always walk away feeling uplifted, more purposeful, empowered, tapped into my spirituality, and equipped with more life tools. As well, I can't emphasize enough how Emily and the mission of Ziva made the toughest years of the pandemic so much "brighter" and hopeful, if one can imagine that. Emily is an aggressive and effective marketer of her product in a space that has a lot of players but most of which aren't as photogenic or charismatic. The Ziva technique only takes a person so far. As other reviewers had mentioned, Emily's practice is a patchwork of various meditation traditions, repackaged in more digestible format and well produced videos. However, I had a conflict with her on billing issues on a product. I attended a live webinar and Emily opened it up for Q&A. She answered everyone's question except for mine. I posted it again, and she ignored it. Other people seconded wanting her to answer my question. She ignored it. I probably posted it a third time. Soon after she removed me from various Facebook pages I'd joined, even the one that explicitly stated that 'all are welcome' in the group title. This is from someone who preaches that 'everyone is connected' and to 'be a nice human'? I note with irony that Emily likes to say that one indicator of whether meditation is working is whether it's making you a better person. She may take the business far because like I said, she presents well, is photogenic, and has 'presence'. Her product is easily digestible. I've never been to her studio but I can imagine it is tastefully decorated and consistent with a 'peaceful' atmosphere. But I've seen enough of what's really beneath all the tasteful trappings to be turned off. The benefit of Ziva is that it does popularize meditation so I'll give her credit for that. read more

As an update, I have continued meditating for almost TWO YEARS now. For me, the most important metric to show the value of investing your time and energy in a program like Ziva is, "did it create a habit that sticks?" The answer is "Yes!" And there have been more benefits for me, personally. Your mileage may vary but I can report a more productive life where I feel more rested, more consistent energy through my day, and the confidence to take on challenges that previously would have scared me. Save yourself time and headache - poor customer service. I tried the 15 day online course and as of Day 6 had learned nothing new. The fee covers: - Videos (recorded, not live stream) for the course - 6 months of access to a facebook group and monthly calls I asked a refund be processed at the 30 day mark (per their policy) as hoping to pick up something new after the investment of hours watching videos. Originally told Ziva would do so in communications with several agents (email #1 below confirms it), the company did not follow through as promised. Instead, I received a snarky note from Kelly (email #2) implying I should have more carefully read their terms and conditions an Ziva is only for "serious" students. The company did not respond to a follow-up to email #2 questioning why the reversal of what previous agents had agreed to. Stick with other meditation apps/ books (Meditation in a New York Minute and Headspace both decent) - this one is a waste of time. You can learn a variation of the course from our book, Stress Less Accomplish More. And it's on purpose that we don't keep repeating the mantras. I have to heartily disagree with the review from Lana O...when I was in a tough spot financially, but was really interested in taking Emily's course, the Ziva team worked with me to find a way to pay for the course. It isn't an inexpensive course, but the Ziva team are real people who understand that. I was overwhelmed with how helpful they were in finding a way to help me pay for the course in a way that worked for me so that I could share in the wonder that is the Ziva course and meditation. I had heard Emily discuss Ziva briefly at a MINDFL mediation class and thought it sounded very interesting. It took me a few years to actually pull through and jump in to do Ziva live, and I couldn't recommend it more. It is a monetary commitment, but the great thing is you can come back to any of the Ziva lives for a refresher forever (day 2-4 I believe). I make it a habit to come for a refresher about twice a year. As someone who in general was scared by the whole "meditation" thing, I can now say I am a happy meditator. About a month ago, my good friend said to me "I've been reading this book about meditation and the author is doing a talk, it's in NYC and I want you to go and tell me about it" - she knew about my meditation practice and thought I would enjoy what Emily had to say. So I signed up for the intro talk, didn't look her up and almost forgot all about it until the day of when I got the calendar reminder. So I went and before the talk was over I was yelling inside my head "sign me up!!!" I drank the cool-aid... Emily talked about different subjects that are important to me and that I resonate with - India, yoga, Ayurveda, well-being just to name a few. So I signed up to zivaLIVE and it was incredible to say the least. I really enjoyed the science behind it and the methodology that Emily talks about. At first I was not sure this was going to apply to me because it was targeted to an audience of go-go-go individuals who are too stressed out with no time for themselves and ready for burnout. That is not me, I am very lucky to have a very flexible work schedule, my boss believes in quality of work over quantity of hours worked so I go to work to do what I need to do and then I leave, not punching a card or looking at time. That's really the biggest determinant to my current state of mind and lifestyle, I have a lot of free time and before I did the zivaLIVE training I was beginning to lose myself and my center because (this might be getting too personal but I think it's worth mentioning for the purpose of my review) my husband and I are going on a fertility treatment ride that we couldn't have ever imagined would be as rough as it has been. When we started trying to expand our family, we got pregnant right away, we were so happy it happened right away - sadly, had a miscarriage a month later and learned a lot about how common miscarriages are. Then we continued our journey and after a year of trying naturally, we decided to go into fertility treatments and here's where this all ties together - this brought a level of anxiety, uncertainty and confusion, not to mention this topic took over our lives. The hardest part of this process for me is the harvesting the egg phase where while on hormones, ovaries get so big that the doctors recommend not doing any vigorous exercise for high risk of ovarian torsion. So doing this training gave me light into what life has become for me: meditation to be able to move forward. I found Ziva on Yelp, and tbh the fact that it was a block away from my office is one of the reasons I came to the intro talk. I was skeptical to say the least, since my experience with meditation in the past has been great in the moment but unrealistic to maintain. While some reviewers may have an issue with the 'Lazy Man' approach to meditation, but I do think that it's the main reason I've been able to stick with it, twice a day, for almost four months now. The prospect of incorporating a meditation practice into the already hectic day of a typical New Yorker is a lot to come to terms with, especially when the recommended practice takes about 45 minutes out of your day. Though it did take a big leap of faith (and significant investment) to take the course, I have not regretted it a day since. In fact, I can't picture my life now without meditating upon waking up and getting home from work, and the few times I've missed a session I've immediately noticed significant decline in my clarity and energy levels. The thing about this type of meditation is that while it's not 'hard', there are many questions that arise through the process of making it part of your life. This was the main benefit of the course for me. Emily explained everything in easy to remember analogies, funny anecdotes and common sense terms that stuck with me when those questions did, and still do, arise. The course completely took the intimidating factors out of the practice, and made it something that I am now excited to do twice a day. Emily herself is radiant, and it has nothing to do with the fact that she is physically beautiful - she is bursting with positive energy and natural gravity with an undercurrent of true tranquility and understanding. This is what I want from a teacher - someone who embodies what they teach. I never felt like I was in some kind of weird cultish setting, or being tricked into a religious ceremony. The people I met and the community that Emily has created here are wonderful, full of depth, and a great reminder that there are beings in this city who also want something more for themselves, not just their careers or bank accounts. If you are interested in the idea of meditation, but want to be convinced - go to the intro talk. There's no pressure or trickery. There is also no one 'type' of person who can benefit from this; the group I went through the course with was one of the most varied groups of people I've seen in a while, and I was surprised to be one of the few 'younger' people in it. read more

Meditation is great, but I would highly recommend going somewhere else. This is more of a personality cult around the founder, and a money making business, than a true personal self discovery or improvement opportunity. My key take-away is that meditation is amazing. But do I want to pay $300 for a personal one on one with Emily (the guru), do I want to go to her retreat, do I want my inbox filled with news about how to improve my technique (I.e. $2,000 retreats or what not), do I want to follow Ziva University and see videos of Emily brushing her teeth, conducting her daily routine, and being amazing thanks to meditation? No She even claims that you enhance sex thanks to her approach to meditation. I mean, if you take her course you become better at life in general. Mediation is really a good thing, makes you feel better, and as Emily constantly points out, you probably become a better lover and more productive. I just question if on a relative basis, this is the course you want to take. What I was looking for: I wanted to experiment finding a more spiritual side, being calmer, feeling more in control. -- Without feeling part of a sect, getting a clear return on investment (sex life better x%, sleep enhanced y%, etc etc) these really are statistics Emily throws at you. Her studio is fine. They made a good job of making it a community, and a service for high income, cool New Yorkers. They have a Facebook group, people answer emails, etc. it's not the spiritual Indian guru working out of a dirty studio. That said, it's a totally superficial and mercantilistic approach to meditation without any spiritual, metaphysical, theoretical or any kind of background beyond building a business out of a meditation. I see how there is a fan base, particularly of insecure girls, given that Emily is beautiful, and charming. Plus she has built a good business, and the idea of going to Ziva is an easy option. However, I would recommend approaching this more as a self learning or spiritual experience, and finding a place that does not offer "the lazy person, easy meditation", that is methodically so weak, and with such a strong personality cult. read more

This form of meditation is absolutely everything it is said to be. Not a difficult practice for monks, but a life essential for relieving stress and becoming able to function fabulously. I am almost 70 (8 days to my day!) and have many years of practicing a wonderful form of Taoist meditation. This approach - Ziva - has brought me a level of de-stressing and inner calm beyond anything I've done before. Mindfulness 'meditation' and the Taoist practice I've had are wonders for what they each provide. This, however, feels as necessary to a healthy life as good food, sleep, and clean water. I went to the class in Los Angeles and really enjoyed the "real world" approach to meditation. Emily is a fantastic teacher and the technique is effective and efficient. It's a wonderful balance of tradition and modern-life practicalities. Furthermore, the post-class support is really great! When you finish the initial course, you're not just left on your own to fend for yourself in the wild. Instead, you gain access to an insightful community to keep you motivated and answer any questions or hiccups that you might encounter throughout your journey. Emily also provides very helpful tips via email/YouTube that help keep things fresh and on track. Of course, you're welcome to be as involved or not-involved with the community as you wish - there is never any pressure to stay in touch or to participate in anything you're not 100% jazzed about. The best analogy I have for Emily's meditation class is that before taking it I was like a flower growing in the desert. I had blossoming moments, but most of my energy went to staying alive in a competitive career. And I had no idea it should be any different. Emily's class brought a stream of energy into my life and it's like seeing the ocean for the first time...afterwards you can't believe how beautiful and powerful life can be. This is a life-saving technique to learn if you are struggling, but it's worth it even if you aren't. I was a very early student of Ziva 5years ago. At the time I'd been meditating for 3 or 4 years already, mostly with frustrating success and failure. I am an integral coach and have been through years of training with Zen masters and somatic coaches, but it wasn't until I tried Ziva that I felt as if I finally "got it". Yes, I was reticent at the cost of learning to meditate with Ziva. But for years I'd been told to sit in a chair with my back straight and my eyes half open and to follow my breath and it would all work out eventually... my mind would slow down... First off I have never had one bad experience with Emily Fletcher or Ziva Meditation as a company. I did not find it to be money hungry at all, in fact they work with you in any way possible if it is something you truely want to have in your life. I felt very at ease from the get go and all of my thoughts about what I thought meditation was were thrown out the door and Emily made it seem so amazing and easy to fit into a busy lifestyle. I feel less anxious and put together and frankly it saves my afternoon from feeling like I might not get through my last clients, like a power nap! The retreats are wonderful and are in no way required. I met so many wonderful people and learned much about myself and my body. This is no cult as some reviewers have put it and that makes me laugh to think they thought that. My guess is that they only attempted meditation for a few weeks and when they didnt get the results right away like quite and lashed out on Emily and Ziva Meditation. I fell into meditation completely accidentally. I knew I needed a way to settle myself down and better cope with life's stresses, but never dreamt I would find those answers in meditation. It scares me to think that if Emily Fletcher hadn't been so completely engaging, funny, adorable and REAL, I would have missed out on this life-enriching practice. My friends will tell you I am the LAST person they would ever expect to start meditating-- I don't do yoga or eat tofu and I'm very resistant to trying new things. But I wasn't happy despite having a wonderful life, and I figured I had nothing to lose by learning a little more about it. I went to the Ziva orientation because it was recommended by a friend, though I was 10 minutes late because up until the very last minute I hadn't really planned to attend. I liked Emily instantly, agreed with everything she had to say, but never imagined I could find the time in my life to meditate twice a day-- plus, it sooo isn't me! I left the orientation, impressed but with no intention to actually take the course. I did however, think about it all evening. That night before bed, I emailed Emily to see if there was still room in the course starting the next day-- still not completely committed, but weighing my options. Thank goodness there was room for me. I bit the bullet and decided to see what this meditation thing was all about. Wow. Instantly I started feeling the difference. By day 2 it was such a profound relief to sit down and meditate-- that quickly, it had evolved from a chore to a pleasure. Everyone's experience is different, of course, but for me, my self-conciousness and the protective armor I was spending so much energy to maintain all day every day, began to dissipate. I am able to actually be more present in every moment of my life, whether I'm in the grocery store, talking with family and friends, or on set. Much of my shoulder and neck pain is gone (imagine spending your life hunched up and guarding against a blow and then being able to release all of that). Not only has it allowed me to be more engaged in the right here right now, it's actually allowed me to let some of my baggage from the past go as well-- and that feels amazing! After 10 months of twice daily meditation I can feel I am more myself and less my baggage. I am more charismatic because I am more authentically me; I am funnier and more charming, and calmer and more empathetic. I haven't gotten sick since I started meditating. I have lost weight because I am eating better instead of stress-eating. Animals and children are drawn to me--I guess it's that inner calm. And I am more confident and engaged in life, grateful and ready for whatever comes along each day-- happier than I've ever been. I cannot imagine ever giving this up. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Imagine what our world would be like if people we more empathetic and less self-centered; more creative and productive and less defensive and self-absorbed. You owe it to yourself, to the people you love, and to the random people you interact with each day, to try Ziva Meditation. And if I can say that, who was so resistant at first, you can see how life-changing it is. I cannot think of a better person to teach this to you than Emily Fletcher. Do it now. Well... You do learn how to meditate at Ziva. I cannot discount that as nothing. And I when first started out two years ago it seemed like a great idea and the best thing I ever done for myself. Though I cannot recommend Ziva for several reasons. First, you don't learn anything about meditation. In other words, what you're doing, and what the practice is doing to you during a session. I had to read meditation books to get information about my experiences that Ziva couldn't tell me when I asked. And as a result, many amped up claims Ziva makes to draw people in don't actually pan out for them after months or even years of daily practice. And then another thing, is that it's like a cult and wants you to keep coming back. For continuous guided meditations. That seems to follow the same pattern as public religion. Being told to believe in following a set of instructions to the letter, for a never ending timespan, and hold the faith that one day you will enter Jesus's kingdom. Except that with Ziva it's transcendence. Keep meditating everyday for 20 minutes twice a day, no matter what, and keep coming back for guided meditation for the rest of your life, and one day you will enter transcendence. I'm saying that it operates exactly like religion with no actual change you're going to feel in yourself in this lifetime, the same as you're not going to be in Jesus's kingdom until you're dead. So while you're alive, you're actually supporting a lifestyle and that is all. The lifestyle is flourishing but not the supporters. So my experience with Ziva meditation hasn't actually been Ziva. I mean, going by what they told me to do. My experience practicing it turned out totally different and much longer in duration than 20 minutes. So from my own experience, I received benefits enough to know when a teacher is holding me back from the spiritual path I want to ascend to. Ziva often says: That a deep meditation is no better for you than a shallow one, which I find hard to believe. Especially since a newbie never had a deep meditation to know the difference. So right through the door for the first time a person is being held back from where they can potentially go with the right meditation style. In short, I'm saying that Ziva meditation isn't for someone who want to learn serious meditation. The easiest way is often not a better way. A lazy man's meditation as Ziva calls it, is for a person like an obedient child, who relies solely on guidance, with no confidence in themselves to question anything they are told and seek answers for themselves. And it makes sense that obedient children are charged so much to learn a kiddie shallow meditation. If Ziva sessions were no more than a $10 a class I would give it four stars for getting a newbie started in meditation because it is only good for getting started. And therefore, I found that transcendental meditation is not for me. It's not serious meditation in my opinion. I don't practice it anymore, and are now looking for a different style to learn. read more

Emily is super kind and has a genuine desire to share the benefits of meditation that she experienced with as many other individuals as possible. If you're looking for mindfulness, this style of meditation isn't for you. If you're looking to have a stronger voice in your own life, if you're looking to let go of past stress, if you're looking to make bold decisions - then I would highly recommend this Vedic meditation practice. I am incredibly grateful I found Emily and Ziva Meditation. I've been meditating for about 6 months now, and my life has forever been changed. Immediately, I started sleeping better and responding to stressful situations with grace. I started feeling less anxiety and moments of depression. I used to have fears about seeing old boyfriends or relatives whose expectations I haven't necessarily lived up to, but no longer. Meditation has helped me deal with stressful situations like water off my back. Emily is an INCREDIBLE teacher. She is wise and mature beyond her years, has a great intuition into your questions or problems, and articulates processes and hard-to-define concepts in a way that is easy to grasp. She is cool, approachable, and has that bright "je ne sais quoi" quality that attracts performers to each other (she did in fact have a Broadway career). Emily teaches meditation in New York and Los Angeles, and frequently holds "Intro to Meditation" talks which give prospective meditators an opportunity to see what it's all about (and why), ask any questions, etc. What impressed me is that this info session isn't a hard sell. Emily gets that you won't get anything out of meditation if you don't want to be doing it. I would very much recommend meditation to ANYBODY looking to be more productive, more creative, and less stressed. And I would 100% recommend Emily as the teacher to learn it from. So why the 4 stars? If you're religious, you may want to consider how you approach meditation. Emily teaches Vedic Meditation, which is Tom Knoles' brand of Transcendental Meditation (my research indicates that they're very much similar, if not the same thing). Any meditation initiator (including Emily) will tell you that meditation is not a religion, but the U.S. District Court of for the District of New Jersey has ruled otherwise. Specifically, the puja (initiation ceremony) and bija mantras (the "seed sound" that you repeat in your mind during meditation) were determined to be too close to Hinduism for TM to be taught in public schools. In my opinion, the way that TM teachers are instructed to explain the puja and mantras seems to conceal a bit of the truth as to their religious elements. That twisting of the truth makes me a little uneasy and is why I deducted a star from this review. But I may be mistaken; I'll let you do your own research. Otherwise, meditation is fantastic. Ziva Meditation - I cannot reccommend this enough. Emily is an amazing teacher with a lot of guidance to offer and she's also brilliant and gorgeous to boot. I have tried other forms of mediation (Vipasina?) and it didn't take. This is simple and easy to get into and if done consistently, produces amazing results. When I came to Ziva, I was in a lot of pain- emotionally, physically, spiritually. I needed industrial strength help and I wasn't sure where to turn. Therapy was a consideration but as I am uninsured, I didn't know that I could afford it and I didn't like the idea of being dependent upon meeting with someone else for an open-ended amount of time and I did not want to be given drugs. I also know myself very well. I am fiercely independent and while I believe in the need for adults to be intradependent in order to function healthfully in society being dependent is not something I wanted to be. What this meditation allows, is for your mind/body/spirit to process and release the stresses of your being. To uplevel your world and experience so that you can be and give back more to the world. You can perform better. It's difficult to describe in words, but 4 months later, I am still meditating and finding I am able to see what is going on around me and deciding conciously how I react more and more of the time. I know this will only improve. I am also continuing my study of meditation and hope to uplevel to the point where I help not only myself but others through the practice. Awake. I cannot recommend Emily Fletcher and Ziva Meditation enough. I took Emily's in-person course in Tallahassee (her hometown) and am writing this recommendation after about 6 months of meditation practice. So that you can feel confident in both the teacher and the results, this recommendation will be a two-part-er: 1.) About Emily: If you are reading this recommendation and considering investing some of your hard earned money into having someone teach you how to sit and stay, you are probably not only somewhat skeptical, but wondering who the heck Emily Fletcher is and whether or not you can trust her. I went to elementary and middle school with Emily and, while at different high schools, our performing arts-related extra-curricular activities allowed our paths to cross continuously. From the playground at elementary school to the stages of high school chorus competitions, her presence was sought-after because she was, even then, a natural leader in the true sense of the phrase. Her refreshingly unarrogant adolescent confidence was contagious...and everyone wanted to hang around her and learn how she did that. Her creation of Ziva Meditation is just an extension of those natural abilities to bestow self-esteem in others. Listening to her teach a group of strangers how to meditate and take charge of their lives in December 2015 was like watching an adult version of the girl who was trying to counsel me on how to have more stage presence at the Tallahassee Junior Miss Competition in 1997. This is what she was meant to do: lead people to better themselves. With meditation, she just found something she believed in and thus wanted to lead people TO. So, trust me when I say that you can trust her. 2.) Results/Changes From the Practice: I sought out Emily's Ziva Meditation teachings at the recommendation of a few other Tallahassee friends. I was looking for relief from stress, anxiety and mild depression induced partly by heredity and partly by the daily trappings of being a full-time Realtor. Pre-meditation, I was working about 60-70 hours a week, depending on the season, and was burnt out...to say the least. When you feel chained to work all day and every day, it affects your entire life: you start to find social events an annoyance because "you could be working if these people would just shut up;" You take your stress out on those that you know will stick around; Depression comes along with using adrenaline to keep your head above the work load water level; You quit doing anything not work production related; On rare days off, you find yourself staying in bed, half-awake for 12+ hours straight, attempting to "recharge" in some way. So...ya, I needed some help. I spent 3 years on a mild anti-depressant and decided that masking the problem wasn't solving it...I needed to go inward and change something. Off the pills, on to the meditation. Emily has this saying in some of her marketing: "do less...accomplish more." As a skeptic, I read that I thought "Seriously? Come on girl! I am loving this meditation thing, but that may be taking it a bit too far." It is now July 2016, the height of the busy season in north Florida real estate sales. I am working about 40-45 hours a week. For years, I was so used to not having time to live life away from work that this new found extra non-work time, initially, had me scared that I was doing something wrong: "Am I failing as a Realtor?! Why aren't I working all day and every day?!! Jane the Realtor said she worked 20 hours this weekend...I only worked 6...I WILL GO HUNGRY NEXT MONTH AND LOSE EVERYTHING I HAVE UNLESS I WORK AS MUCH AS JANE!!!" Last week, I looked at my production numbers. I had to check them twice because, I actually sold MORE real estate from January-July of 2016 than I did from January to July 2015. Yup: I worked less...and accomplished more. I also sleep better, have not seen the dark cloud of depression following me in six months and find myself listening more and talking less, which used to be hard for someone with more spastic tendencies like me. Your changes may be similar or quite different, but I promise you that you will find the process worth the investment on many levels. So, take the plunge, see what it does for you and tell Emily that Christie from Tallahassee still forgives her for kicking her butt and going on to State in the Tallahassee Junior Miss Competition in 1997. read more

Emily is the loveliest teacher and I am incredibly grateful to her for introducing me to this new lifestyle. I was originally in her acting class and this meditation course kept coming up from the other students who had attended. To be upfront - I had absolutely no interest in learning about meditation as all my earlier experiences with it had left me distraught (I thought I was a failure because I could not stop thinking), annoyed and/or snoring in class. So... I fought as long as I could not to learn more about it. I may have threatned to throw something at one of my friends who would not stop talking about how 'amazing' and life-changing this was (oops, soorrryy). Over a year later (I'm stubborn), I started having doubts. Partly because of the positive changes I saw in the performances of the actors/friends who attended her meditation course. Actually, I'll be honest - that was my biggest motivator. After several more friends went through it and raged about what a difference it made in their life as well, I started doing some research on it and found that there were a lot of studies with worthwhile evidence to prove it's effectiveness. So I attended her information session. I already loved her personality from the acting classes so I didn't need much to convince me to at least hear her out. I'm so glad I did because she went through a thorough explanation of it and I learned so much more about it than I could from google. Four months later (Ziva graduate :-) and I'm still grateful and practicing. I'm much more conscious and alert. I feel more stable/grounded. I'm much more calm -- and my life and the decisions I make feel a lot more effortless. I would highly recommend Ziva and Emily a million times over. I found her to be really warm (she also has the best laugh ever!), gentle, patient and available. Finding through Emily's teachings at Ziva Meditation a closer relationship with myself, has been the best investment I've ever made. I've been to various therapists in my life, for different reasons, and they all have been supportive and amazing. But, my experience has been, than no matter how much therapy one goes to, if one doesn't feel capable of finding strength and love within, of taking charge of ones process, no one, from the outside, can really create the change we want and need.
