Zombie Burger + Shake Lab in Des Moines is always a must stop! This is the Raygun. Monterey jack cheese, fried jalapenos, caramelized onion, bacon, guacamole, chipotle mayo.

Pretty good food court find. I was visiting Jordan Creek TC and wanted to grab something quick and saw they had some yummy sounding shakes. I got the single cheese burger that comes with their signature sauce. (No onions tho). I got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch shake. There was no line when I got there and the employee was ready for me to order. My shake came out first and right after was the burger. About 6-7 minutes later, my burger was handed over. I enjoyed the burger. It had a nice taste to it and the sauce was yummy too. It was a tiny bit more greasy than I would've liked but definitely better than a chain fast food burger. The price is a bit higher than that as well. The shake was delicious!!! I thought it was going to be vanilla topped with the cereal but once you got into it, the ice cream had cinnamon flavor throughout. Sooo good. Definitely a good lunch spot ! I will be back!

How many malls in the country could a vegan get a vegan triple burger.. Probably not to many! That's why it's so cool that Zombie Burger has this location. Recently my son and I were killing time over his school break, visiting the mall and he wanted some Mac and Cheese and Fries.. And for some reason maybe it's Scooby Doo or maybe it's Michael Jackson's Thriller Video... He is into Zombies lately! So why not stop at Zombie Burger! He dug is Mac and the fries were delicious as well! I have had the Vegan burger here too and it's top notch! Nothing scary about this place. In the sea of crappy mall food, it's good to know you want want to die after eating Zombie Burger!

They have lots of variety and names for all of them. They are very filling for a reasonable price.

Regardless of whether I'm a fan of Zombie Burger, they are smart about putting one in the mall. People who travel to Des Moines seem to go either downtown or to Jordan Creek Mall. Both locations/areas have a Zombie Burger. It's also one of those unique places visitors like to try. I'm not a huge fan of their burgers and this stop was to get a kid's Mac n' cheese and a milk for our daughter. The line moved quick and I didn't have to wait long for my order. They put it in a massive bag with handles. That was nice since I was holding my daughter but that bag was soo big! The Mac n' cheese is really yummy and was just the right temperature. The main item I saw being sold was the shakes. I think I only saw one person order a burger.

I had the Raygun burger, which had chipotle mayo, pepper jack, bacon, avocado, and fried jalapeños. The fried jalapeños were great! The burger meat was not the best quality, but overall the burger was adequate. I also had a pumpkin milkshake, which was my favorite part of the meal! It was flavorful and creamy! The storefront of this location was pretty fun looking and really played off the zombie theme.

I buy my child a kids every week . They raised the price now it's no longer worth it. Then they changed the basket to a portion size of fries for a basket price. What a disgrace and a total rip off Downtown the basket feed 4

We stopped by here one day while at the mall. It's nice to have an option like this out West. In my opinion, the food wasn't as good as the orig downtown but was still really good. Also, nothing beats the atmosphere of the orig either. We'll stop again, if we're out this way.

Everything started good as we were in a large group and were seated promptly. Our waitress then took our drink and appetizer orders. I ordered the gallon of nachos to share with the table and a draft beer. Our table received waters and our initial drinks fairly quickly. That's where it ended. Our waitress was pretty much non existent after that. After about an hour waiting, I had to hunt the waitress down to get another beer and our gallon of nachos still had not arrived. Another member of our party had ordered a bucket of Yuenling Flight beers for a special they had an advertised sign right at the entrance for $17.76 as a celebration for the 250th of the US. The waitress was unaware of this special and had to get approval with her manager to get the special. About an hour and 30 minutes into our arrival, a server (not our waitress) began dripping off our food entree orders but no nachos yet. At this time, I cancelled the nachos with this server as it was intended to be an appetizer to snack on for the table as we waited on our food and had drinks. Our waitress finally appeared a short time later to explain that out nachos were almost ready when we cancelled them. It was too late though and my entree was delivered. This review would have been less than a 3 except the food saved it. I had the beef Philly with onions and cheese whiz sauce with fries and it was very good. Others at our table enjoyed their food as well. One thing I noticed was that our waitress was wearing a beverage around her neck that we later found out was a "painkiller" alcoholic drink. It was mostly empty when she first took our drink and appetizer order and refilled later. I suspect she was enjoying her drinks more than helping our table. She was friendly though. If this place works harder on their service, this would be a great place to visit.

The food did take a little while, but everything came out together, which I appreciate with a larger table. My fries were room temperature when they arrived, but they quickly replaced them with piping hot ones, so no real complaint there. Our table had a good mix: the Pulled Pork Sandwich for $12.99, Crispy Chicken Wrap for $14.99, Tequila Lime Chicken Tacos for $14.99, BTH Classic Smash Burger for $14.99, and a medium order of house-made boneless wings for $16.99. I arrived around 3:00 PM on June 20 and sat at a mostly empty bar. After receiving my drink, I asked for a menu. Instead of a simple explanation, the bartender rudely told me to "turn around" and pointed toward the food line. I apologized and explained that I had never been there before. The interaction only got worse from there. As I walked the short distance to the food line--with my suitcase still sitting at the bar because I was traveling--the bartender yelled across the room asking whether I wanted a tab. I immediately apologized again and explained that I wasn't from the area and wasn't familiar with how their process worked. When I handed him my card, his response was sarcastic and condescending. Another customer at the bar actually exchanged a look with me because the behavior was so unnecessary and awkward. The food itself was good. The tenders and Brussels sprouts were enjoyable, and the young man taking food orders was professional, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately, the bartender continued to ignore me for the remainder of my visit. My drink sat empty for an extended period of time. He looked directly at my empty glass multiple times without acknowledging it while continuing to serve other customers. A female bartender eventually noticed and offered another drink. When it came time to leave for my flight, I politely asked for my check. The bartender responded with more sarcasm and attitude while trying to locate my tab. After another unnecessarily rude exchange, he finally found it and immediately turned the payment screen toward me, instructing me to add a tip. At that point, I told him directly that he had been rude to me throughout my entire visit. His response was essentially, "Yeah, sorry," in a tone that made it clear he wasn't sorry at all. I left a zero-dollar tip, which is something I NEVER do. And I made sure he knew. He looked and stomped away. The frustrating part is that this experience was completely avoidable. I was a first-time customer in an unfamiliar restaurant environment, asking normal questions and trying to be polite. Instead of receiving basic hospitality, I was treated like an inconvenience from the moment I sat down. The kitchen staff and the woman bartender were great. The male bartender working around 3 PM on June 20 was not. One employee shouldn't be enough to make a customer leave angry, but in this case, he absolutely was. I would not return, and I cannot recommend this establishment based on the service I received.
