March 12, 2026 I was a new patient. I filled out my forms ahead of time, 12 pages! I was told to arrive at 1pm because the doctor wanted to speak to me prior to my appt. At 1:30. That was a lie. I arrived at 1pm and at 1:30 I was escorted to room #4. I waited until 2pm then I just walked out. I was so pissed off. I will not be returning to this clinic. I take this as a sign from above that I don't need this doctor. I will continue with my chiropractor and my physical therapist. read more

Dr. Khalmat and his staff were super friendly and helpful. They reached out to me via phone call to set up my appointment. They gave me the option of completing new patient forms at the clinic or printing them off online prior to the visit. The receptionist was warm and kind. She was very assuring of me even when I called ahead when I thought I was going to be late. I was seen by Dr. Khalmat within half and hour of my arrival. Dr. Khalmat is professional and explained the condition of my spine and interpreted the MRI results and images with language that was comprehensible and helpful. I am so very glad I came to this practice! I have been dealing with lower back pain for 15+ years and was told by a spine surgeon that in order to "fix" it I would need a surgery that required 20 screws & 2 rods, with an incision from the bottom of my bra strap to my butt, & would take approximately 10 hours, just no!! Dr. Kalmat is one of the best dr's I've ever had. I have had severe chronic pain in my spine for 5 years. I never thought I'd get relief and that I thought I'd have to live with this awful pain for years. He deserves 10 stars. His staff is pleasant and helpful as well. The office is nicely appointed. I use to see DR. K. in the DC area. At that time, I was on a lot of meds for pain management. I weaned myself off every single pill, as I started to feel less pain. Dr. K, I felt, always listened and was very compassionate. I moved to Arizona and recently found out that he was here too. I live 3 and 1/2 hours away from him, but was so eager to see him again because since I fell, I aggravated my back and neck again, and my headaches are back Sad face I just new he would understand that the pain was stopping my life again. He says "Pain is real." Well, I don't know what happened since he left DC, but I am not a happy camper. My life is still at a stand still, yes, he did give me injections and a muscle relaxer. I called twice today to let him know I am in more pain now. 3 and 1/2 hour drive home. I'm suppose to wait another 5 or 6 days for the pain to get better. When you are in pain, life stops. Mine has been stopped for awhile. I expected more from Dr. K. Sad face again. I am going to have to find another Dr. In Phoenix now, but I have faith that I will find another Dr who will listen and believe that my pain is real.
