All In Adventures is located inside Crossgates Mall in Albany. It's easiest to access by parking near the JCPenney entrance and taking the escalator up to the second floor near Zara. The space itself is a little unassuming from the outside, but the real razzle-dazzle begins once you enter the rooms. You get to choose from about 9 or 10 escape room options, and our team chose Black Ops, which I definitely recommend. Our host, Zach, was friendly, informative, and did a great job explaining the rules. One thing I really appreciated was that they don't actually lock the rooms because they care about guests not feeling claustrophobic. I thought that was a really considerate touch. As a team, and with a few hints lol, we successfully completed the mission. I had an absolute blast. Also, this was the first escape room I've ever successfully escaped from, so that was definitely another win for me lol. After the room, your team can take photos in front of a green screen. I will say this area could use a little improvement because the props were a bit lacking, but honestly, outside of that, I have zero complaints. So yes, five stars... partly for my ego's sake lol.

No decor other than a couple of cheap props. All you do is undo locks, the clues don't tie to the lock - find 4 digits try every 4 digit lock. Staff while friendly were scattered. We finished but had no idea what to do, just wandered out till we found someone and after a bit they went and stopped the clock. All the rooms are just behind an unlocked door you can go in and out as you like - no where to put belongings but on the floor in the room. And you can hear everything from all other rooms. If you are looking for an escape room in the Mall 5 wits is a much much better option.

The challenge level was perfect (a bit of a challenge, but not frustratingly difficult) and we enjoyed that we could work on tasks both separately and together instead of having a linear progression of clues where you work on just one task at a time in order to move on. My experience with Tru Escape was so much better than with another escape room that I went to recently and I can't wait to return to try a few of the other rooms!

Previously, when visiting escape rooms, the host was very enthusiastic when telling the introduction to the specific rooms. This host was not that enthusiastic however. We were visiting the "Outbreak" room and the host just gave a brief intro and said you're looking for an antidote, your time starts now. Not only was the host disappointing but the room overall. It was a small room with terrible clues, and in order to get a key out of a test tube you were supposed to use something just anything, the host later said girls use their hair mostly. This was disappointing as most escape rooms have some sort of object that leads to finding the next object. The locks on the doors were also not very good as we had the correct combination but the host had to come put it in bc the lock was so tricky. Overall, this escape room was a disappointment and was not worth the $25/person it costed. Would not recommend!!

We then decided to play games, and 3 of the 4 kiosks for adding credits to the playing cards were out of order. Then we start playing games, only to find that around 1/3 to 1/2 were out of order. At what point do you close until you get some of this repaired? I couldn't believe that this place was even open with the amount of games and machines that were out of order. I almost wanted to ask the employees, half jokingly, " isn't this embarrassing?" And we go here somewhat often, maybe every two or three months, and some of the games have been out of order for months and months, including the escape rooms. With Dave & Buster's literally down the corridor, you would think they would make these repairs a priority. I don't ever write reviews, I was just dumbfounded.

The puzzles were clever but not too difficult to do in an hour, and we appreciated the way everything was connected. The staff were very pleasant as well. The one thing I'd kinda like is some token for having solved the puzzle -- even if it's just a cheap plastic coin, we need some kind of "I Was Here" souvenir. All in all, very happy to have a good escape room in the area, after being disappointed with the other ones we've tried.

Went here for the first time on Saturday to celebrate my twin boys' 13th birthday. I don't remember…read morethe name of our guide, but she was very fun and engaging. Myself and my boys had been to one other escape room experience (in Albany, I believe), but this one was above and beyond our previous experience. It reminded me a little of the MagiQuest at a Great Wolf Lodge, but better. We were two moms and 4 teen/tween boys and us moms enjoyed it as much as the kids. We started with the easiest adventure - Dragon's Curse. We had an hour and we completed it in about 40 minutes. We will definitely be back to experience some of the more challenging options!

You first arrive to the drive through 20 mins prior to your selected time- wait just a little while which i liked because everyone goes in one by one and this is cool- plenty of space between cars!you tune your radio to the given station and drive through the attraction. Awesome set up- awesome actors - awesome experience. Lights off windows down and non stop spoOkiiness!! Following that you are directed Into a parking lot- park and you can enter the haunted houses. They are all little individual " panic rooms" very cool! All different themes in each house separated by a corn maze. After all of that you are led into a little village where there is a stage and they do magic performances- along with some food stands and the cutest little trinket store where we got some cool vintagey Knick knacks! I have to say, for an adult this was a lot of fun for our group of 4. There was no " bumping " into other people's groups or little kids ruining the time for us. The lines look kind of long but with social distancing implemented it's really not and you move right along! Not like haunted house ma use to be years ago when it was just chaotic and lines were insane.. The set up was so smooth and easy to follow ensuring you don't miss a thing ! From one attraction to the next just smooth transitions. It was definitely worth the hour ride!
