We took our car here for motor mounts and an A/C compressor, which set us back $1,600. They also added a belt and pulley to the job, but we only found out about that because we kept calling them. Communication zero. After about a week of driving, we were going down 95 and heard a loud thud, then the power steering just died. We managed to limp home, but once we parked and checked it out, we saw the belt had come off and there was a major coolant leak. This was never was an issue before, especially since we've taken this car to two different shops in the last year. Including one where it passed VA state inspection. None of those shops complained about any cooling system issue. When we towed it back, they told us it needed a radiator and thermostat and pretty much wanted another $600 on top of the $1,600 we already spent. They wouldn't even cover the tow. They just put the belt back on and had us tow it to another shop to actually fix the leak. The car is still not drivable. We understand things happen and we are not idiots when it comes to vehicle care, but it is incredibly frustrating when a shop tries to avoid accountability. Honestly, just avoid this place like the plague. There are better shops who have trust worthy mechanics in the Stafford area. read more

They replaced work on my car and it failed on i95,leaving me stranded at 5:00am, causing damage to my radiator, they refused to reimburse towing and wanted 600$ to repair the radiator. Rude attitude. Faulty work. Over priced. read more

Check your engine bay, check your parts, check everything before leaving. I asked if I was able to get a couple of parts put on my car in which they insisted they'd have it done by the next day. I was excited because all of the other shops in the area were busy until the next week. Upon receiving my car on the next day they had taken off my engine cover, car battery cover, and did not put my parts back in my car as requested originally (I even wrote it down for them). On startup I could tell something was off right away, instead of being greeted with a smooth roar from the parts I had just put on, I was met with loud obnoxious rattling from underneath my car, squeaking from the engine bay, and surprise surprise no transmission to exhaust reinforcement bar. What I can't understand is how they thought I wouldn't check my car when I told them that I do work on my car by myself. The only guy who spoke fluent English seemed to be in a hurry and couldn't put the phone down to assist his customers. There was another young man who had to call the front desk guy because he wasn't there at first, and that young man was by far the best of my experience, he brought me my parts when asked and apologized for his coworkers mistakes/mischief. My honest opinion is that the price and wait time here might seem tempting but I promise the quality of work must've dropped over the years. You are better off heading over to Eddie's auto shop for inspection and things alike or any of the surrounding shops for quality and honest work. read more

I was traveling down I-95 when my brake pedal seemed funny. I called another shop, A national chain shop, they said bring it right in. I had to drive a lot slower to pooch it to their shop. By the time I arrived it was around 4:00. the other shop said I'd have to wait till next Day, they wouldn't even look at it now, since it was soon quitting time. Zone Auto Tech happen to be across the street. The owner agreed to look at it and actually stayed until he got the part, bleed the brakes and got me back on the road. ( the brake caliper blew a seal ) I would recommend this shop because he seemed to care enough to try his best to get me back on the road, and he was very knowledgeable. read more

What can I say about this company and their lack of customer service? If I could give them a negative rating I would give them a -10. This is what they did. My daughter called to get a quote on breaks both the front and the back. She asked for the price with the brakes and the rotors in hand and without purchasing them herself. She was given a quote for $172 for both the fronts and the back. When she told me this price I said are you sure that is for both the front and the back she said I asked and they said yeah that was the front and the back. Verify she called them again with me present. Once again they said $172 and she made an appointment for today . We get there bright and early this morning. The lady confirms the price yet again my daughter referred to their previous conversation said it was for all four breaks. The lady confirmed it yet again that it was indeed $172. They take the car in the back the owner mysteriously appears and all of a sudden it's not $172 for both the fronts and the back it's $172 for each well over the price we were quoted . The woman who says she's only been there for five days, said it was her fault but did the owner did not honor what his employee said "absolutely not. " He said that no one would do it for that price and my daughter was like I agree, but you quoted $172 and he Raul and that's the owners name Raul said no he couldn't do it. Michelle who has only been there for five days in the first place apologize profusely, but the owner did not stand by the quote price that his employee gave. Anybody planning to use this place avoid it at all cost they do not honor what they say and they do not work with you. Any business owner would stand by what their employees says even if their employee made an error This bad business practice, I'm gonna make sure that everyone knows just how bad this company is and how it treats its customers , I'm hoping that they read this review and for future reference one train your employees better and give them the resources so that they know that when they quote a price they are giving the correct price so that they don't have people wasting their time, gas and money getting over to a place that's not going to honor what their employees say . Absolutely terrible service. I went back for reinspection but they tell me that the inspector is on vacation and there's no way I can get my car inspected. They didn't refund me my money and said I have to come back in a week knowing that I can't drive my car because I can get a ticket for driving with a "rejection" tag. The front-desk employee laughs as though something was funny and it wasn't a serious matter. At least they could've notified me that inspector would be on vacation so I can get the inspection somewhere else, but no, they decided not to say anything and rob me of my money. I brought my friends car here for a reinspection but the inspector was on vacation which means I couldn't get my tag for inspection done. This can result in a ticket which I made clear to the front desk employee but he decided that it was funny and laughed in our face. So I had to go to another inspector and wouldn't give me a refund atleast. The employee wouldn't even listen to me when I talked, SO RUDE. Family had transmission breakdown on a long-distance road trip. We found this place after unsuccessful attempts at other places nearby....and so glad we did!!! We received great service. Owner (Raul) explained everything in detail, and gave his recommendations for repair. Repairs would take 3 days to complete (it was the weekend so ordering parts would be delayed a bit) and our destination was 2 hours away so we had no choice but to get a rental car while the car was being repaired. He allowed us to use his vehicle to pick up and drop off the rental car!! He even came to the dealer with us to get the Dealer to program our transmission!! Overall service was great, very friendly staff, and definitely would recommend to anyone. We have even considered coming back for regular service, and we live several hours away!! I can't say how great this place is. You can go to an auto repair place and they'll charge you fifty to $60 just to look at your vehicle. You can go to this place and you can get it done for free and they make you feel like family. So when you leave you know your car is been totally inspected by the best.
