Chris, who presented himself as the person in charge, was extremely difficult to deal with. When I asked to speak with the owner or a supervisor, he would not provide that information or allow me to speak with anyone else in management. My biggest concern was the additional work and charges that I did not authorize. I originally brought my truck to this facility because it needed a replacement transmission, and the transmission repair was covered under warranty. After they received the transmission, it took more than five days to complete the repair. When I picked up my truck, I made it approximately two miles before it broke down. The engine began rattling, ran extremely poorly, and then shut down. The truck had been running properly when I brought it to them. Instead of resolving the problem with the original repair, I was told the problem was the spark plugs and wires. I was then charged another $250 for this work, along with another $179 diagnostic charge. I did not bring the truck in for spark plugs and wires, and these additional charges were not part of the original repair I authorized. After they claimed the truck was repaired again, I picked it up and it made it only about one mile before the problem happened again. At that point, I had completely lost confidence in the facility. I had the truck towed to my home and finished the repairs myself. There was also an issue with my old parts. I specifically asked Chris to keep the old parts for me, and he agreed. When I returned approximately 30 minutes later to pick up my truck, I was told they had already thrown the parts away. I was then told that customers have to request their parts before the repair begins. That was not what I was told when I asked for them. What makes this experience particularly frustrating is that I was charged additional money for repairs that I did not authorize as part of the original job, and I ultimately had to take the vehicle home and repair it myself. I don't have a problem paying a fair price for quality work. What I have a problem with is being charged additional fees for work I did not authorize, being charged repeated diagnostic fees, having the vehicle returned to me in worse condition than when I brought it in, and then having to finish the repair myself. In my opinion, the customer service, communication, and handling of my vehicle were unacceptable. I would not recommend this facility, and I strongly suggest getting a written estimate and written authorization for every additional repair before allowing them to work on your vehicle.

The vehicle is now totaled and insurance can't do anything until we have our title. We asked for a tracking number for the title and the dealership told us there wasn't one, even though the DMV told us they should've mailed it with one. Through the 2 different reasons I've had to go there, they eventually got the issues fixed. It took two trips but because they misdiagnosed an issue the first time, they didn't charge me for labor the 2nd time so I appreciate that. The not-so-good experience.. they didn't call to say to what extent the diagnosis was neither did they call to breakdown the cost for everything. So by the time I got my car back, everything was already done so I'm inclined to pay at that point. Not to mention, the cost of parts was over the average pricing that you can get online so if you're familiar with car parts, I recommend ordering it elsewhere and asking if they're able to use that instead of theirs. Overall, I'd come back here for maintenance and inspections. I think they are trustworthy but could improve method of communication to the customers.

I say old school because of the way my daughters and wife have been describing their experiences a Ed's. The completed the tune up and told me other things which needed attention. As Ed was giving me the list, the cash register in my head was ringing up $2,000.00-3,000.00 but when I asked what they would cost, Ed quoted less than $1,100.00. On top of the tune up, they did a few extra things which they did not charge for like resolving an annoying noise that's been coming from the car for a few years at least. Absolutely amazing!!!!
