    Terrible service. They held onto my car for 36hrs for a safety inspection. Four different pick up times. Stay away!

    Excellent service! Was having engine slippage, turns out it was the spark plugs... so had spark plugs replaced!

Should have trusted previous experience and reviews…read more A few years back my wife brought in van for oil change, was told we have serious engine problems, and needed $2K of work. Smart woman she is, she tossed the BS flag. Engine had recently been replaced under warranty by dealer so obviously this was a blatant up sell. We ended up getting 150K miles on the engine before trading in, with no "repairs". Fast forward to Monday, needed inspection on my Nissan (30K miles). I procrastinated, bringing it in the 2nd to last day of month... normal place I trustc isnt doing inspections, so gave these clowns another shot because of convenience. What a surprise!! Suddenly I need new brakes and rotors! Total BS... I didnt have time to screw around, let them do the rear to ransom my car and got out of there as fast as I could. Their reputation in the entire area is obviously rash for this shady garbage . Believe the reviews. Avoid at ALL cost. Majority of reviews show the SAME shameful behavior.

I paid $300 only to have them forget to reset the sensors, and disconnect and drain my battery to try and get me to come back for another service. My battery is less than a year old, and it died to 4% 2 days after coming here. I was lied to and told I needed other services, when I didn't. Services that would have cost me thousands! I asked to have my fluids topped off and the girl and the mechanic said "ok no problem." I checked, and nothing was topped off. My coolant was below the 'min' level line!!!! They told me nothing!!! They said they would email me an itemized invoice, I had to ask for it 4 times and then call a 5th time with my angry voice and it was finally sent to me. I even got a message from the store from a person named "Sam" so I called back within 10 min to talk to "Sam" and I was told there "is no one who works there with the name 'Sam.'" WTF then who is texting me! Overall this place is horrible. Shady and a bunch of liars! I have worked on cars my whole life, my dad was a mechanic, and I'm almost 50! I grew up rebuilding cars, doing our oil changes, etc and this place is not honest! They try and rip people off and are doing it in a very dishonest way! DO NOT GO HERE, not even for a "free" bottle of water!! They are dishonest, and they DO NOT do what you pay for !!!! Don't do it!!!

I ended up having to replace two rear tires in order to match the tread depth. The initial employee I worked with (Drew) was very knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately when I returned at 5pm to have the tires installed he was no longer there. Another employee was in a rush to install the tires and ended up damaging my wheels. He half heartedly apologized and said if I wanted to get the wheels refinished or repainted they would help with covering the cost. As I drove away I noticed that my low tire pressure light was on. The recommended PSI for my particular tire is 42. Not only did they damage my wheel they didn't put enough air in the tires. Both rear tires were only inflated to 30psi. My car is practically brand new, well it's a year old but still fairly new with no issues, dents, scratches or blemishes. Now I have damage to the wheels and Tires Plus expects me to pay over a $800 to replace the rear wheel. I attempted to speak with the store manager and he offered to have the wheel repainted and stated that structurally the wheel is fine. I'm not sure how he can tell that without removing the tire but ok. He further said "this is why I'm not comfortable working on Tesla's with this size wheel/tire". Well if you aren't comfortable doing the work why not tell the customer that and they can go elsewhere ? Not a big deal... but now I have a damaged wheel that I'll have to replace out of pocket because no, no I do not want to have a painted wheel that may or may not match the OEM wheels in the car. Sorry for the long post but I 100% would NOT recommend this location.

    I had one of my best experiences with an auto repair shop today in 55 years of driving. Our car…read morebattery died while I was waiting for my wife to exit our gym. I called the nearby Toyota dealership where she takes the car for service and repairs and asked if someone could make the 3 minute trip to help me. Toyota told me to get a jump and didn't budge when I said I had no way to do so. Toyota then told me to call AAA - I didn't have the time to wait because we needed to leave in an hour to head to an important appointment. So, I called the nearby NTB where we get our tires. They immediately sent someone over to jump start the car. I drove straight over to NTB and they took our car in immediately and had us ready to go in just 30 minutes. And, I hadn't even mentioned the upcoming appointment - they just took care of us. The battery price was less than the average prices I found on Google and they DEEPLY discounted the labor. It would have cost me as much or more to buy a battery, install it myself, and have it disposed of. I"ve always been extrememly pleased with this team and they were at their awesome best today.     I had a very disappointing experience with Progressive Automotive and Tire Shop…read more I brought my car in for an ABS sensor issue and was charged $720 for what ended up being an oil filter housing gasket replacement. Considering the gasket itself costs around $30, the final bill felt extremely overpriced, especially since I was never given a clear breakdown that justified the cost. What concerns me even more is that I was told this repair was related to fixing my ABS sensor problem. After scanning the vehicle, I don't understand how an oil filter housing gasket would reasonably be diagnosed as the cause of an ABS warning issue. The repair did not fix the ABS problem at all. I was upfront that my main request was to have the work completed within 24 hours. I was informed there would be a $100 rush fee, which I accepted. However, I'm still left wondering where the remaining $620 in charges came from and why the pricing was so high for the work performed. I understand that labor and diagnostics cost money, but customers deserve transparent explanations, accurate diagnoses, and fair pricing. Unfortunately, I did not feel that was the case here. Based on my experience, I would recommend that anyone considering this shop ask for a detailed estimate and explanation of the diagnosis before approving repairs.

I'm normally very cautious when it comes to mechanics and service stations because of past bad experiences just like everyone else has had. It was close and convenient so I thought I'd just give it a try. No, I hadn't looked on yelp prior to going up there. In short, I've had three experiences with KAZ Automotive since we've been living here. Every single one of them nothing but good and well done at a reasonable price. KAZ Automotive is where we will get ALL our car maintenance done and buy tires. (By the way, also snagged a $60.00 rebate from Goodyear Tires which I wasn't expecting. However, if you get one and do it online make REAL sure that you have the ability to download a PDF copy of your RECEIPT AND INVOICE and have the ability to attach it to the online form. Just a heads up, nothing bad about KAZ though, it's all about the online form.) I'm a somewhat older guy with genuine disabilities, mobility issues and limited resources. I have no qualms about taking any of our family vehicles there and they have earned my trust and now consider them "our garage" and I WILL recommend them to others! You do good works folks! She said she was on the phone. I was sitting in the in the lobby the entire time and could hear the staff's conversations. She was not on the phone the entire time and there were two other people at the counter. I'm not sure what her problem was, but intentionally wasted my time.
