Called a second time to book a tour of where our cat would be staying - I was told by Ryan that having visitors come to the back would disrupt the dogs' experience.... Mkay. He said I could come in and see photos of the cat's lodge in the office and he has some on his phone. At drop off, there were many dogs in the office so be aware this is more of a business catered to dogs than cats. My cat was already stressed, not a shocker but still annoying. When it was my turn, they confirmed the dates she will be staying, literally took her to the back and didn't ask about vaccination or anything. It was very fast and felt off, but whatever. When I asked to see photos of where she would be staying they acted strange, as if my question was taboo. They didn't have any they could show me so I literally dropped my cat off and have no idea where she is going. Awesome. I left and in the car called to speak to someone who would send me photos - it was odd how they made it so difficult to send me 1 photo. They said they did take a photo but the cat was blurry so they will try again later.....Huh??? It's not hard to send a photo in 2026. Anyways, at pick up when they brought out my cat, they gave her back to me in the WRONG CARRIER. That was my sign that this business is shady and unorganized. The guy panicked when I told him the carrier wasn't mine and took them an additional 10 minutes to get the right one. And yes, I checked to see that they gave me the right cat. They also included a dirty old cat toy in the carrier covered in hair that was not ours. Gross. Very chaotic - never will be returning and would not recommend.

After his one on one lessons we signed up for their group training to socialize Porter. They did such a great job for so many different dog personalities all at once. We had a large "intimidating" (to some) Cane Corso in our group and they paired little Porter with him and Porter had all the confidence he needed next to the massive Cane, thanks to Rebel K9. Renaissance got me a same day appointment and my dog was happy. Many people…read moresay they have so many years of experience doing their jobs and you never can tell, but being in class for 4 weeks and watching the growth and change in the various dogs as the weeks go by, you can't help but believe that Xavier truly knows his stuff. He is passionate about his work and this reflects in the way he teaches us how to work with our animals. I didn't bring the worse of my dogs to the training, but I am so happy with the end result with my rescue dog that I am returning for more classes with my "bad boys". Xavier is easy to talk to and he really does love and respect the animals and teaches us to do the same. He's funny and engaging during training. The smaller classes give a nice intimate feel so you get the attention you need from the instructor and you don't feel lost or afraid to ask if you need a little extra support. We asked about training and he gave us a couple of great behavioral tips, particularly about dealing with a power breed but recommended we reach out after Anakin completes all of his vaccinations. We planned to start training after New Year's, but Anakin seemed to start his teenager phase early and while we socialized him as much as possible, he seemed to digress particularly with walking, so early December I reached out to Javier for the four 1:1 personal training sessions. We were able to schedule them rather quickly. Javier was very knowledgeable and communicative. He explained clearly how we can create a better connection with Anakin, how our own behavior affects his behavior, and why it was important we correct them. We learned new things that YouTube/Google couldn't have provided because Javier personalized the training around Anakin's breed and temperament. We had our kids attend the trainings as well so we all can get the same training and info, which incredibly improved Anakin's behavior because the training at home was consistent. He also helped build our kids' confidence in walking Anakin. We will be signing up for the group trainings for additional socialization as well as more 1:1 trainings. We fully trust in Javier's expertise in training our powerful yet crybaby of a Doberman. We highly recommend him!

Deku is a terrier/chihuahua mix and he is also very stubborn/bratty. Deku is/was a very reactive towards mainly strangers & random noises due to him having anxiety (he even takes anxiety pills especially when going to the vet). Deku also had problems with pulling when walking. I know it's mainly the owner's fault to get your dog like this, but this is something I had a hard time fixing myself, even with all the research I have been doing and implementing for Deku. So for a long time, I have been wanting to train and board Deku and have been exploring who to go to, but Jonathan was the trainer I chose for Deku and he was absolutely AMAZING with Deku. Deku's transformation has me and my family so amazed and we are just so happy with how great Deku has turned out from this train/board process with Jonathan! I know Jonathan does not have many Yelp reviews, but the only reason why is because he is new on Yelp. I was a bit skeptical of this at first, but I did my research and have seen pictures/testimonials of the previous dogs he's trained before. He's the real deal! The first step of my process was doing consultations with different trainers to really see who I could trust more and I ultimately chose Jonathan because even during the consultation, he was so very understanding and communicative of Deku/Deku's problems and was explaining to me the ways we can tackle some of Deku's issues. Even with just the consultation, I already saw a difference in some of Deku's issues from the training tips he gave me. About 2 weeks later, I took Deku to board and train with Jonathan for 3 weeks. 3 weeks without your pup is so hard, but what helped was that Jonathan would give me pictures/videos of Deku and his growth being with him. From showing me Deku's lowest of being unfriendly towards Jonathan, you can see the journey of how Jonathan in the end bonded with Deku and trained him to be a more obedient and non-reactive dog! There has been some concerns with Deku being a little reactive towards small things, so I texted Jonathan and he replied instantly when I texted him about these small instances. Jonathan explained everything so thoroughly and even asked me to keep him posted on updates with Deku and that gives me peace of mind that this trainer really does care about the dogs he's worked with and all of his clients! I can safely say that walks are not nerve wracking anymore and Deku has not been reactive towards strangers during our walks. Deku does not pull as much anymore (Jonathan has taught me how to correct it if/when Deku starts to pull a little) and does the commands I want him to do. I'm still in the process of taking Deku to public places, but even if there's a little problem, I know I can talk to Jonathan about it and I already know he will give me great advice on how to handle/train Deku so he can be his best dog self! I truly can not thank Jonathan enough for helping me as a dog owner who loves their dog and wants whats best for him! I will be recommending all of my beloved dog owner friends to Jonathan and am also thinking about doing further training for Deku with Jonathan, since my experience with him was top-notch!
