Zommin grooming did great. They were very communicative when it came down to my fur babies appointment if they had openings, they always reach out to me to see if I want to shift the appointment. The only thing is I think Mobile is very expensive with Zommin grooming. I was charged $139 for a miniature schnauzer. Gigi a very well maintain fur baby and she gets grooming once a month so it wasn't much work needed besides a bath and a schnauzer cut. My mistake was assuming that the price would be reasonable so I didn't ask what would be the total until it was time to pay. They actually charge $25 for gas. So if they're doing multiple grooming in the Suffolk area they're charging everybody $25 for gas so I thought that was strange like a rip off. I also was very shocked, because in San Diego my mobile grooming was $80. I don't think I will continue with the service if I have to pay that much for gas on top of the truck the hair suction machine broke so the sanitization wasn't up to par. But overall, my GG baby looks very good. But I have to give a three star for the price and the fact that the vacuum was broken and it was hair from the previous appointment all over the truck. read more

We scheduled an in-home grooming appointment for our 4 lb Yorkie and were given a confirmed time of 4:45 PM on Friday. That time came and went with no communication, so we called at 5:30 PM and were told they couldn't make it due to a prior appointment running long. We were then rescheduled for Saturday at 2:30 PM, but received a call at 12:30 PM that the groomer had gone home sick. They offered a free grooming on Monday, which is appreciated, but given the repeated cancellations and lack of reliability, we declined. My dog, who has been groomed 4 times with other groomers ( he is 10 months old) is a emotional mess the day after his groom. We could hear him howling from inside the van as we were sitting in the house and started to go interrupt. He now has several nicks from the clippers in him as well as Razor burn on his privates. I've waited a long time to write this review because there aren't many grooming options in my rural area, but I've finally had enough. Zoomin Grooming is an absolute mess of a business. Their communication is non existent unless I reach out first. Over the past year, they have repeatedly canceled last minute or failed to show up for my scheduled appointment. I have had to reschedule more times than I can count because they cannot seem to manage a calendar. Most recently, I scheduled my two large dogs for a late afternoon appointment in April. The day of the appointment, I received no word from them. After sitting around for an hour, I texted them (again), and they responded with some lazy excuse about the groomer running out of time and only being able to do one dog. No. That is your problem to fix, not mine. I rescheduled for two weeks later because my dogs desperately needed to be groomed. No confirmation. No outreach. So once again, I had to follow up the day before. They responded to me the next day with another ridiculous excuse about how the groomer had to go to urgent care because of a cat scratch. I do not buy it, and frankly, I do not care. I also work with clients, and even after I got into a car crash in October 2023, I still managed to notify and reschedule my appointments while I was actively standing at the scene of the crash. That is called professionalism. Clearly, that concept does not exist at this company. Now I am left bathing two large dogs in my own bathtub, despite dealing with a back issue. Would be zero stars but had no choice. The company called and changed the appointment date and time due to having 2 cancelations today. I agreed to change my dogs appointment. Rushed home from work, appointment was set for 11:30am. It's now 2:30pm, 3 hours late with no communication informing me what is going on. I have 3 German Shepherds Captain is 9 and Luna and Bela are both 7. None of them like baths, ears cleaned or nails trimmed. I gave Luna and Bela their anxiety medication but the way Rena was with them they didn't seem to need it, they slept all afternoon. I'll remember that when Rena comes back, she was great with all three of them and they have never looked better. My fur baby was groomed by Zoomin Groomin Suffolk & Portsmouth on May 7, 2024 and was cut twice in his face, and once on his leg. I spoke with the owner who agreed to reimburse me the money I paid to have him groomed and a free next appointment. In return I agreed to take down my negative review which I did immediately. I was never reimbursed by Zoomin Groomin and was asked to sign their service agreement for my fur baby's next appointment which spells out I will not hold Zoomin Groomin responsible for any injuries. Totally disingenuous of what we had discussed. And why was I not asked to sign that prior to his first appointment? That service agreement puts the blame on the dog and not the groomer. I will be taking my fur baby back to his usual groomer who knows him and compliments him on how well he does while being groomed although he does not like riding in the car. I called to schedule an appointment for my dog, I spoke with the owner and she was very nice. She set my appointment for 4p the cost being 135.00 for a miniature schnoodle. I agreed. She then called back to change the time to 1:15pm to accommodate the groomer having a shorter appointment before my dog's appointment. I again agreed to this new time and adjusted my schedule accordingly. The day before the appointment I get a text from the owner again not asking if I am ok with an appointment change but telling me that my time was now 10:15am. I explained that I had changed my schedule to accommodate the 1st rescheduled time only to be told that my scheduled time would not be honored and the best she could do was offer yet another time change. I honestly don't understand how this business model works. They are charging a premium for their service but obviously don't honor appointment times and expect that customers randomly adjust their schedules. Disappointing read more
