We stopped at Zorbaz because we love the Nisswa location. The location is great! This restaurant is "Self Service", and they seemed understaffed for the day. We placed our order at the bar, and the tap beer wasn't working, so we ordered bottles and chilled glasses. One of the glasses had a chip on the glass lip, and we were only given a new glass when the bartender came to the table and verified there was a chip in the glass. We weren't given a new beer. The half order of nachos were great, and were served without plates, which we found. The line to reorder bottled beer was 10 minutes. By then, the nachos were cold, and the flies inside Zorbas kept landing on them. In our experience, food was decent, service and fly issues are one star, and the waterfront location is beautiful, and 5 stars. We will likely look for a new place next time we visit. read more

Food is average at best, you can literally watch them warm stuff up in the microwave prior to plating. The pizza is edible. Service is usually pretty good, venue is decent with the lake view. Men's bathroom stinks. I can see this place being a drinks only because the food isn't worth having. read more

Staff was super friendly. I came at a really weird time in the afternoon but my food came very fast and it tasted great. The value was really nice for a chicken and rice burrito, and I even got different sauces to try on it. The vibes in this place were off the charts. I travel for work, from Texas and have been to 40 states. Man! In about 9pm on 7/23/2024 Ordered the chicken quesadilla and a number for bowl. I will admit I was very hungry but... came here for the pizza but stayed for the nachos! The nachos were HUGE. We ordered beef and it was good. However, please know that the nachos also come with refried beans, which isn't typical. The pizza was great as well (the rumors are true)! We ordered the bun with the sour cream and guacamole on the side. This pizza is a bit spicy, but that's just how I like it. Cool venue, absolutely out of control expensive for what it is. Mall food court quality food, just barley room temperature even after having been sent back. Their salsa is tomato sauce with a dash of chili pepper. Drinks are ridiculously expensive for this area, think twin cities prices plus 20%. And beer isn't even a 16oz can, it's the tiny 12oz cans! For over $8! 3 dinners 6 drinks $130! Plus it's meh food. Didn't even bother with any leftovers. read more

After many attempts to visit a Zorbaz I made it. Zorbaz has many lakeside locations. It's a interesting concept. Many tables inside and outside but you order from the bar. The large menu consists of mainly pizza, spaghetti and apps. The tap beer selection is pretty great, many locals along with good old standards. Our waitress was bubbly and helpful. For dinner we split a large pizza half Thai and have ruben. It was so delicious. Love that we could do half and half to try both flavors. Zorbaz loves the letter Z. Pizza sauce was super sweet, dough tasted like store bought frozen pizza dough - "cardboard" taste 2.) Nachos - couldn't be any dryer. No cheese melted underneath. Just a slab on top. The chicken was seasoned well but for some may be too much. Ground beef was super mushy. 3.) Beans - cooked too long and was seasoned with way too much paprika. It was paprika beans and gross. 4.) "Salsa" - looked like ketchup. It was the paste picante I guess. Staff - not very friendly, in fact they all looked miserable. Like they hated their jobs. No one smiled from what I saw. Cheap & plentiful & you get what you pay for. First time at this pizza joint and there were a few things that were good. Definitely a busy, hopping place with a great view of the lake. Plenty of free popcorn and (self) refillable drinks. There was also replenishable chips and salsa and the salsa was fresh and tasty. Downside? The pizza was not all that. We order the California Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza. The cheeseburger part wasn't that noticeable, and not much bacon either, but there was LOTS of lettuce on the pizza. In fact, that was the main part. The pizza didn't taste bad - there just wasn't much taste with all of that lettuce. Oh, and the refills on the chips were supposed to be free - she just didn't stop by to refill. read more

Hubby and I were on a short golf weekend and went to Zorbaz for dinner. It's a very busy spot. It's very casual with a fun atmosphere but hasn't been updated in ages (they probably don't need to since everyone comes there anyway). Pizza is pretty good, though we added extra sauce which made it better than the last time we ate there (last year). We would prefer a thinner crust, but tend to love most pizza. One extra note: Corona Light bottle was $6.75!! Spent additional time on the patio by the lake and enjoyed a fun live band. Hand sanitizer was available....not sure if tables were always wiped down in between diners. Staff wore masks. read more

Went for Taco Tuesday and pizza and it was delicious. Love the Thai Pie pizza and my taco was huge with lots of chicken. One of my fav places to sit outside and eat right on the lake. Everyone was super friendly and my food was served quickly! Thanks for the great service! read more

Zorbaz gets 5 stars because it's perfect for what it is. If you are looking for a classy place, do not come here. I worked at a nearby camp and spent many Friday nights here. It is a fun atmosphere, with super subpar food If you sign up for their texting club you get free things! read more

I really like zorbaz. I had the Thai pie. It has pineapple, bacon, peanut sauce, red onions, banana peppers, and cilantro. I liked the pizza but it was not my favorite. i also had the cheese bread which was very good with the perfect amount of cheese. "Super" pizza was very good but expensive. Mixed drinks were only o.k and expensive. Be forewarned little or no air conditioning inside restaurant. Very strange! Inside temperature nearly unbearable. Zorba the Greek only have ordered out. The price of a medium speciality pizza is $26 a little steep for pizza but it's really good!

Had to wait too long for a bartender when there was only maybe 15 people in the WHOLE place-counting people at tables. Have to go to the bar to order food and hope they can find where you're stitting before food is cold when they do find you. After 10 minutes and 4 employees passing by without any acknowledgement; one even went as far as to stop right in front desk of us, take a sip of his own soda and walked the other way. we then decided to grab our own menus from the bucket by the register not too far away. Making it very obvious we were there to eat yet no one stopped to ask what we wanted. We unfortunately couldn't support this lack of service. Two blocks away was another establishment called oNeils... door not even shut behind us the hosted advised of a 30 minute wait wait yet we were more than welcome to pull up to the bar and 5 minutes later we were seated! read more

Walked in and immediately opted for outdoor seating; it smelled exactly like cat box. Maybe because they just opened and it was some cleaning solution or whatever, but outside we go. It's fine though; nice day and Great Lake view. You have to go back in to order your own food. The menu is a mess. Now all you snowflakes don't get offended, but it's like someone with ADD wrote this thing. There's stuff everywhere. And wherever an 's' is appropriate, there's a 'z'. And an extra z everywhere else to make it cache I guess. We just ordered the first thing we saw to close the damn menu and end it; the spaghetti. No wonder half the world can't spell today; everyone's altering everything to look cute. Anyway, it was fair. We had to fill up our own drinks and police up our own tables. It was kinda the only game in town considering it was a Monday and nothing is open until Wednesdays. But nah, won't be back.
