Didn't get past the host. Went Monday, dinnertime. I'm visiting from out of town and my dad wanted to take me and my brother for ribs for my birthday. The young female host told us there's no tables right now. Come back later. I asked if they had a list going and if we could get on the list. Her response sounded like it was a big chore to put write my name down so I said it sounds like we're an inconvenience so we'll go someplace else. We visited the sports bar on recommendation of the hotel manager. Since I couldn't decide what I wanted, I took the recommendation of the waitress of the ribs. The ribs were OK and we cooked decently. They were just overpowered by the very tangy barbecue sauce. Funny thing is, though I really enjoyed the coleslaw and that's never been one of my favorites. The food was boring. The serve made 2 mistakes. 1 my kid ordered tots but got fries - they gave us tots to fix that but her nuggets were over cooked 2-My husband ordered the burger special with jalapeno jelly. They served him an onion and bacon cheese burger. He scraped off the onions and they brought him the jelly but I would not have eaten it i hate onions. I tried an edge of the burger patty and it tasted good. I had the Oriental chicken salad and my breaded chicken was thin and too much batter. Not a great meal. I appreciate the $5 off for the mistakes made though. read more

Bloody Mary with a beef stick straw out in Hutchinson? Why can't the bloody bars in Minneapolis do that? This place hit all my expectations. From kids menu to fast delivery of food. Server was there when we needed something and was accommodating to our son. Easy dining for parents and some bowling to follow. Cons: menu doesn't have anything that identifies them. Pretty typical for a rural city bar. I would like to see some more unique options. I will be back with my family if we are in town. read more

Came here for lunch and it wasn't very busy... my first visit (and certainly not the last!). The service was great and fast (which was helpful because I was on lunch) and the food was amazing! The menu selections was pretty good too (another reason I need to go back). read more

This place has a wide variety of food to choose from. Burgers and wraps to pizza and pasta. I have tried a handfull of items since I have started eating here, primarily at lunch time. Each time, the food has been very good, not greasy, and reasonably priced. Plus they have a variety of sides to choose from. Their soups are some of the best restaurant soups that I have had. The kids have a wide variety of choices also and they get a good amount of food (some could even split a kids meal). The restaurant has also been very clean every time I have been there. As an added perk (or minus for some of us parents), they have a game room for the kids. There are TVs that play sports channels around the restaurant.This restaurant is joined with a bowling alley too. So why only 4 stars.....service. The service is never bad, but probably more times than not, I am looking for our waitress for a refill or our bill. I realize that they are busy during the hours that I am there, but I don't think 1 refill is too much to ask for or our bill when we have been done eating for at least 10 minutes. I like prompt service, so this is just my opinion. read more

I visited Squeaky's on a complete whim...long story short - my car broke down and I ended up at the dealership across the street requiring nourishment and a beer or seven. I'd seen it advertised in the local paper as having "the best wings in town", so I thought I'd give it a shot. It was a Thursday evening, but the place was quite busy. Luckily, the three of us were able to get a booth right away. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries, and a appetizer of the BBQ wings to share with the table. Positives: -Nice, clean place with a solid menu. -Connected to bowling alley -Good wings -$1.50 domestic taps (was only a 8-10 oz. pour though) Negatives: -Slow service -Burgers are average at best The wings were quite good, so I'll definitely be back to sample more flavors. I'm not sold on the rest of the food yet - I'll need to try a few more things on the menu. read more

They season their fries! One of the few places in town that actually have flavorful fries. The burgers are always cooked exactly as ordered, and I haven't had any issues with servers. This is one of the best burger restaurants in town. read more

Family oriented and great atmosphere. They do have a couple waiters and waitresses that are horrible. But there is some really good ones there too. Jill is amazing at her job, and the owners are great people. They have bowling alley and arcade as well. Nice place for a family outing read more

Squeaky's has great service, food, and drinks. If you want great service on a weekend, ask to be seated at Kayla or Mara's tables, top notch service. Beau does a great job of setting up events in the bowling alley and making sure everyone has their food and sodas filled. Best club sandwich and wings around. Out between nowhere and if you aren't looking you can miss this place was a pleasant surprise. Attached to but separate from a bowling alley the restaurant has a beautiful well stocked bar and substantial food offerings. I felt daring and ordered a steak RARE. So much delicious food! Came here visiting about 2 years ago and it was delicious. Ate here again the other night and it was delicious again. My husband had a full rack of ribs plus chili. Ordered the Chicken Parisian. SOOO disappointed. When we started coming here the dish would be smothered in cheese and tasted great. Tonight there was barely any cheese at all even after I asked the server to make sure the cook didn't skimp on the cheese. Even when I have asked for extra cheese in the past I never got it. It will be a VERY long time before I come back, if ever. No wonder I see less and less people every time we visit. Portions are smaller and smaller each time but price doesn't get smaller. read more
