Found the picture of your double burger to be misleading. Description is valid but still ridiculous, came here for a double burger to find a minni double for my kids. Receive manager statement that he was taking out meals off and offered a different burger which we got but did not expect to pay for based on manager discussion. Will need to be much more vigilant on what shananags you'll pull next time if there is a next time! Went out for dinner after loosing our dog to bone cancer. It's Applebees. In case you're new to this, their food isn't handcrafted on the spot. It's prepared meals they heat up for you. That being said I saw the negative reviews and was hesitant until I showed up and saw the crowds. I was the youngest (31) solo person and every group had at least 1-2 middle-aged people per group. In the first 7 minutes I heard three different old people complaining about things as if they were expecting a 5 star restaurant experience. The staff was actively looking around and checking on tables with a half full lobby. You can't expect any more from an Applebees. Food is alright. Just imagine you/your wife's cooking and if y'all can do better, then complain. If y'all can't... well that's why you're eating out. Stop complaining. 04/14/2024 lets start with how they gave our table away to another party and we had to wait longer. then the waitress we had, lilly, chose not to serve us any longer and switched with another, not telling us either, because she didn't like our son. then she kept spreading vicious gossip around the building, that got back to me by numerous phone calls that night. i am a very well know person and people know you don't talk about my kids and if you have issues you talk to my face. and then the lying weasel of a manager tried to talk to us about some bullshit thing. i am a reader of people, i can see thru his fakeness. we asked what the hell was going on, already known by me what it was, he danced and bounced around it. nothing but a liar and disrespectful! and when we got our food, it was an hour later. not person checked on us in the whole time to see if we needed anything or tell us any reasons to why it was this long. we knew! we all had been out of drinks for at least a half hour! and our food wasn't even hot nor was it cooked as we asked. my husbands burger bun top was burnt as it was dried out by the heat lamps. so i would have to say it sat there for a while before we even got served. i paid $100 for our kids to come home, spend my birthday with me and eat with us, we got treated poorly. there is not one thing stopping me from contacting my lawyer on monday morning and filing an epic lawsuit against them for harrassement and convictions without proof and acting with predjustice and malace. then there is spreading melicious gossip. i am going to make this litigation so long their grandkids need lawyers! and as i said i am very well known here so this will be not only on my social sites but across my cell phone and word of mouth! read more

Applebee's always shows their support on Veterans Day by giving vets a choice of free meal all day. I came here around 4pm and it was fairly full but the host and waitress were prompt. There was fair selection of items for the special vet menu, things like steak, chicken and salad. I got the oriental chicken salad and it came full side. There was enough crunch and ingredients as expected, but I was disappointed that they were shy on the dressing. The waitress brought me my order right away, as well as the piña colada and strawberry cheesecake shooter I opted to purchase on top of my free meal. Unfortunately it started to get rather busy and the waitress took at least 15 minutes to get me my to-go box and check. I expected the wait though. Ordered 2 lunch combos salad/1/2 sandwich and salad/soup. Sandwich was old and cold (probably someones other half) bread was soaked through, cheese was solidified. Would have returned it but waitress didn't come back until well into meal. Soup portion (black bean) was very small but good. My thai salad was VERY overdressed, dressing would drip off every piece. Be careful when ordering your drinks here. If you order it on the rocks, they pour and charge you for a double. Also, bartenders don't seem very nice to non-regulars. As someone that stops in once or twice every 3 months, I have gotten terrible service compared to the other people at the bar that are on first name basis with the bartender. I must state that, as a bartender myself (last 20 years), the food is good but DON'T sit at the bar area expecting to be treated like a person unless you go there all the time. read more
