This was a fabulous experience....we just happened upon the Fulchino Winery and were delighted not only with their wines but the entire experience. Al and Susan, proprietors and vintner, made us feel like family. The grounds, the architect and the total ambience was a slice of Italy. As tasters you have a choice of three levels which includes the number of wines you can taste and the food selection. I'd never seen it done this way but our entire group thoroughly enjoyed it. What an experience! But honestly, a little confusing. You are given many different package options. We chose the largest "platinum" it was the charcuterie that sold us. The wine options were confusing...you could do 10 tastings or five tastings and a full glass. We chose a seat, you could upgrade to a cabana for a cost, but we chose one right on the patio. It was a gorgeous day! The wine menu was big, but only a few were available. I was going to do the 10 tastings but really couldn't find many I liked - they all smelled like nail polish remover and the taste wasn't much better. This may be a personal preference because my husband enjoyed the reds. I liked the Bianco. But that charcuterie. OH MY GOD. Everything was delicious. Some Australian cheese blend, the spicy orange jam. The knowledge of each things served to us was superb! I would go back just for this platter alone. I ended up having 6 tastings and a glass. I'm not sure if those were the rules, but they served me. So I'm not actually sure if they keep track of what they are serving. We also got to choose dessert as part of our package. Visited this vineyard with friends for the first time and it did not disappoint. We did the 6 round wine tasting with some light hors d'oeuvres to start. We really enjoyed being able to taste many different wines that they offered, because of the amount of wines available in the tasting package that we chose. The overall vibe was really cute, we sat outdoors in the snow globe seating. And the weight staff was really attentive to make sure that it was warm and that we were never really too far off without our next bottle of wine being available and ready for tasting. I definitely think this is a great afternoon adventure, and even though there was a private event happening that evening, they still were super attentive, and really on top of our table as well. We found this gem on Yelp of course! After one of our hikes, we were looking for places to eat that allows dogs. And we stumbled across this beautiful winery. Staff were pleasant from the get go and we appreciated they were a dog friendly establishment. We asked to be seated by the grapes on the other side of the patio cause and it looked magical...I highly recommend trying it out. We ordered a tasting where we chose 4 wines, a cheese and meat board, and the Godfather sandwich. The wines were delicious. ...we tried Sauvignon Blanc, Peach Vino, Pinot Grigio, the Mirabella, and the La Famiglia. My fave was the Mirabella. We even took home a case cause they were so yummy. The cheese and meat board was pretty good. To me, it seemed like the ratio between the cheese and crackers was a bit off. And I would have appreciated more fruit and preserves. The preserves were out of this world and one of these cheeses was too. Another thing I would have appreciated is if they had a paper telling you what was on the board. I loved the preserves and one of the cheeses so much, I would have liked to know what kind they were. Regardless, I would order it again! My hubby loved the sandwich! We came here for tasting on Thursday during the day. Lisa seated us and was very friendly. We chose the package with 6 tastings, cheese, bread and olive oil. Kevin served us wine and was very friendly. The best part of our trip was the views of the vineyard from upstairs inside (where it was nice and warm), the cheese and olive oil. The bread was like the rolls you can buy at a grocery store. The wine was just way too sweet for me and everyone else I was with. We prefer reds like cab and pinot noir and we tried most of the reds they had available for the day and everything was too sweet. The Malbec was the least sweet but it tasted flat. read more

Nice space. Terrible wine. That's really the gist of it. In detail, their wine blends include a lot of blueberry, to a terrible degree. When we asked about what wines are included in their blends, the server told us the information was proprietary. This is inappropriate at best. Lovely, established wineries in Napa are eager to tell you about the composition of their blends. This New Hampshire winery claiming it's confidential? Rather pathetic. Beautiful and quaint winery, highly recommend you visit! Plenty of wines to choose from, all varieties imaginable. We did a tasting of 6 with some cheese and bread for $20 a person. The service is great and they're very knowledgeable of their wines. Large patios so you can enjoy outside on a nice day. They also host weddings and small functions. read more

We came for the wine tasting, there are 3 options, depending on how many tastings you want. We went for the gold tier which has 8-1oz pours and one cheese/meat per person. The cheese and meat is what you find at local supermarkets but they are not bad. They had maybe 10-13 wine options available out of the 20-25 listed. We tried all the available ones and half of them are weirdly sweet. I like sweet wine like Riesling but these didn't taste good. Our favorite was the barbera and we just kept asking for that after our 5th pour cuz there's nothing else we liked. They have nice grounds and I see them seeing up for an event at night, maybe it'll be better if you are here for music and like sweet wines. read more

My friends and I visited Fulchino Winery since they were taking part in drink wine weekend. One of the owners was responsible for putting the whole event together for a handful of wineries in Southern New Hampshire. He really embodied the "live free or die" spirit of New Hampshire since he was outraged that we were charged a service fee when we purchased our tickets through Eventbrite. I suppose Eventbrite got an earful from him the next day. The winery itself has a beautiful space inside with two floors. The day we visited they organized their tastings by having all of the whites upstairs and all of the reds downstairs. The staff were good at providing tasting notes and making suggestions based on our preferences. My favorite wine was the La Prima Frutta that had peach & pear flavors up front followed by a Carmel finish. It sounded like this winery organizes several events throughout the year. I'll probably stop by to check one out if I'm in the area again. read more

Truly a hidden gem. Tucked in heart of Hollis, NH, is a beautiful vineyard with a beautiful Tuscan-style house that was built by the owner (with love, you can tell). It certainly makes you feel as if you were under the Tuscan Sun. Compared with some of the other local wineries, their wines are of great taste and quality. They offer their tasting by packages ranging from bronze to gold; where the gold comes with 8 samples of wine, cheese/bread and cured meats of your choice. Stopped in here on a sunny Saturday afternoon for some wine tastings. We came from another winery so by the time we arrived here they were almost closing and setting up for a party. Luckily for us, they did not turn us away. They told us we could do a tasting and sit wherever we liked. It was a bit chilly out since the sun went down, but we braved the cold and sat outside to taste some of their wines. The view was pretty cool too since we sat right in front of the vineyard. They have different packages that you can buy and some of them come with bread, cheese and meats (pic shown). Atmosphere here was nice but some of their untraditional policies left a bad taste in my mouth. My boyfriend and I went with another couple and wanted to share one tasting per couple so that we could purchase a bottle to share. However, our server informed us that they don't allow split tastings - something we've often done at other wineries - so we decided to just split a bottle instead. Once we picked out the bottle, we were then told that they charge a $10 corkage fee to open a bottle on site, again something I've never experienced before. I understand why restaurants charge diners to BYOB, but it makes no sense why guests would be charged corkage for a bottle of wine they buy at a winery for consumption at that same winery. Wines also seem to lean on the sweet side - just something else to note if sweet isn't your cup of tea. read more

Horrible. We honestly should have turned around after the first interaction with the woman at the host stand. We had called earlier in the day and made a reservation for 2. My friend has not had much experience with wine, so we figured a tasting would be a good idea, so she could get some exposure. We walk up to the host stand and the woman asks me, "how many people?" I tell her I have a reservation for two. She asks us what package we want and I explain to her that we have never been there so I wasn't familiar with the options. She then asks if we are hungry, I tell her, " not super hungry, we would like a little food, but we are mostly here for a variety of wine" I then explain my friends situation. she then says " ok well I guess I have to explain everything from the beginning??" ok...um, yes? She then proceeded to show us the two cheaper packages. I ask if those are the only options, and she actually said " well the other packages go way up there in price" she basically insinuated that we couldn't afford the more expensive ones... after a little back and forth she finally explained the other packages... mind you... the most expensive package is like $60 per person.... We settle on the 8 glass per person package ( might have been 6 or 7, I can't remember now looking back) then she tells us to pick out some meat and cheeses... all of which were sitting out in the sun on a hot summer day. Then my friend picks up a package of soppressata, and asks what that is and if it's spicy. This same woman says " it's Italian sausage, it might be spicy" she then picks up another meat and says " this one is like pepperoni, you do know what pepperoni is right?"..... Keep in mind, this interaction lasted all of 4 minutes, and this woman still managed to insult us twice! I have been to many wine tastings all over the country and the world, and have never been treated like this. Next, we started out with a server who spent 10-15 mins talking to us about his comedy career, and hat business before ever bringing us any wine. After he brought us a few glasses, he disappeared. We ended up spotting him, setting up a wedding....no one told us this until we flagged a different server down to ask for another glass of wine. They ran out of the wine we had asked for multiple times ( we were told by 4 different servers we needed to wait until the end, since it was a heavy finishing wine) . Most of the wine on the list we were handed was unavailable. And to top it off we were forced to use porter potties... which meant we had to walk through the wedding party if we needed to use them. The only good thing about this experience was that we ended up getting like 12 glasses of wine each because no one was paying attention and everything was so disorganized that we also lost track. The vineyard it's self is beautiful and the wine is decent, but the experience it's self was so bad. I was embarrassed that this was my friends first real experience with wine, and all this went down. I would never go back and would encourage others to stay away. read more

I went two times. First time was on a weekend and was greeted by Susan who described the different options. We chose the platinum board. Let me tell you, we weren't disappointed. It was the best board we'd ever had. She made a board with lots of options and a side dish of two chunks of chocolate and sweet crackers. There was the thinly sliced pear in a spicey sauce that was to die for. It also came with a dessert. I posted pictures of the board on social media and quickly got comments of people wanting me to take them. We enjoyed some of the wines. Only odd thing was common dinner rolls served with olive oil rather than Italian bread. I agreed to take one of my friends to try it. They really wanted to see it based on the pictures I posted. This is where the two stars come in. If I hadn't of gone back the second time it would have been five stars. Second try I ordered the same thing, though Susan didn't appear to be there. It was during the week and the place was pretty empty as expected. Out comes the platinum platter and what a disappointment. It was filled with a lot of small crackers and pepperoni. Unlike the first board, no gherkins, no melon with mozzarella, no pear slices, no chocolates, no chocolate Nutella spread, no goat cheese, no sharp cheese. It was a very basic board that I could get anywhere for under $20. Best thing was no dinner rolls but Italian bread. Before I went, I had read through the reviews and could not understand why some were raving about the boards and others were saying it was basic and nothing better than what you could get at the grocery store. But now I understand. It could be who is making the board. It's $65 per person so if it's two people then that one board and the wine tasting is $130. Now if you back out the cost of dessert for two that comes with it and the average cost of a wine tasting for two than that board costs $75. To pay that for a board made up with a large amount of pepperoni and crackers was insane. Again, the first board that Susan made I thought was pricey but would do it again. Now, I can't recommend because of the inconsistency. If I do go again, I won't do the platinum unless Susan is there describing what she is going to put on the board like the first time. read more

They have a passion for wine and their local community. After a thorough description of the wine list from the well trained staff, I chose a delicious Sauvignon Blanc. They served a charcuterie board that did not hold back, yum! Next I walked the beautiful grounds with a buttery Chardonnay (a summer favorite of mine) and ended with Sangiovese. So there were a couple of wines on the sweeter side (not my favorite) so I was expertly directed by the staff to wines more to my taste palette. There was plenty to choose from on the sweet to dry side. It was a beautiful day, in a beautiful setting, with beautiful people! If I had to give a bit of constructive criticism, I would add more views of the vineyard from the inside. I would blow out an entire side of the building for custom windows to incorporate the inside to the outside. But that's the decorator in me. Delicious wines! Well worth the trip! read more

Went to Fulchino for a bachelorette party. Wines were delicious and waitress was fantastic and knowledgeable. But when arriving the staff was not very welcoming and the waiter who sat us did not inform us that we had limited time because there was a wedding that afternoon. Our waiter was then pulled from us towards the end of our tasting and we got our waitress who was fantastic but did let us know that we needed to be leaving by 2:00 at 1:50. We were then rushed through, when we ordered desserts we got flutes and told we could keep the glasses. Only 3 out of our party got our flutes back barely cleaned. We were then rushed out. Other than good wine and a fantastic waitress who did apologize i only gave this place 3 stars. Probably wont be back. Also, their choice of a restroom was gross for a winery. This is a great vineyard to keep on your New England / NH wine trail list if you like red wines. They have a few white and sweet wines, but by far their reds dominate the list. And I think their their signature blends (all reds) are some of the best reds I've tasted in the entire state! They are younger compared to some other vineyards in the region, but they are already very well established and continue to grow their operations and on-site tasting experience. We went for our latest visit over this past holiday weekend and enjoyed our pick of meat and cheese with a well portioned (but still generous) outdoor wine tasting. Sadly, they were sold out of several wines we wanted to take home with us after the tasting, but I guess this gives us a reason to head back sooner rather than later to try more then! read more

This is definitely a "atmosphere only" kind of place. From the wine, to the food, to the bottles.. all was bad. My group and I went to enjoy a nice day and had been referred here for the views (they did not disappoint). We opted for the second highest tasting option (8 tastings, meat, cheese, bread, and crackers). We should have known when they brought our food out still packaged we were in for a day. Not to mention our table neighbor got the highest package (one above) and received a beautifully prepared charcuterie board. After preparing our own charcuterie board, we began our tasting. Every wine was described as "sweet" and honestly all the whites tasted near welches grape juice, so they were not wrong. I've never seen a sauv blanc so yellow or had a heavier pinot grigio. I was excited to try my favorite, cab sauv, but was quickly warned this was on the sweet side so I probably wouldn't like it (what cab sauv is sweet??). I will say their only good wines were the "Family Signature", and that's clear by the price point compared to the others. Now for what REALLY got me, at the end we decided to purchase a couple bottles to drink of the one wine we all could stand. As we intended to drink the wine there, we were informed there would be "a $10 corking fee per bottle".. SERIOUSLY?! For YOUR wine I am purchasing from YOUR vineyard... i'm not sure Fulchino understands the meaning of a corking fee. I will say, the vineyard had beautiful flowers and plants, and I walked away with two great hanging baskets. Other than for the flowers, I see no need to go back. read more

Our friend was there as a bachelorette and even the owner noticed us outside trying to take a group photo, he came running. He asked to take the photo for us and even multiple so we got a good! Stopped by here on our way back to Boston and we wanted to do a wine tasting. It took us a while to find Fulchino Vineyard online because there are so many wineries and vineyards in the area, but I'm glad we chose Fulchino in the end. It was a little busy when we went but that's a testament to their wines and friendly service. We got the silver package which consists of 6 wines and cheese. Bread and olive oil was also provided. You're basically given a list of wines that are available that day, a menu with detailed descriptions of each wine they have, bottle of water to keep you hydrated and you get to pick where you want to sit. With the silver package, you choose the cheese you want from a basket they have by the register. If you opt for Gold, you get 8 wines, cheese and meat. Once you're seated, you're given some time to look over which ones you try and then the staff will come get your order. Sit back and relax after that! I picked three white wines, a rośe and two reds. I don't normally like reds but their La Famiglia Signature Blend is delicious. If I'm ever in the market for a red wine, this would be my first pick. I ended up buying a bottle of La Prima Frutta which I was told by the owner that it's called "Mommy's Lemonade". It's very light and sweet, different from my usual picks of white and dry wines, but I was in the mood for something new. I'm definitely interesting in going back to try more wines! read more
