Thanks to Yelp reviewers posting their 5-star reviews about this new chinese massage establishment in the Pearl Kai shopping center. It's been open 2 months so everything is clean, new & spacious. Hubby & I just did a 1 hr. couple massage (private room) & felt soooo great afterwards. They do an ahh-mazing reflexology (foot massage) there too. They took out all of our knots and tightness in our bodies. We loved it so much that we signed up for the membership of $60. We can go as many times as we want within 6 months up to 2 people total per card at the discounted rate. This is Zu Dao Spa's 2nd location. My sister and I got the 1 hr foot massage. We started with a neck and shoulder massage while we were soaking our feet. Then we laid down and the masseuse pressed on some pressure points on my head. After that, she got to the feet. Unlike my previous experience in Taiwan where I sat, we were lying down the entire time which is fine, a new experience. I think it was more relaxing. Another difference from my previous experience is that they mainly focused on the foot, but the masseuse in Taiwan also worked on the calf. At the end, the masseuse stretched my arms and legs. Overall, I think she can be a little stronger. Sometimes it felt okay, but other times, I felt that she was a little too soft. read more

I really wanted to support this business so I tried it out. The majority of the massage the pressure was too much for me and I kept telling Tao that I was in pain and less pressure, but it seemed like he did not understand. The end when I flipped to laying on my back was the best part where I could handle the pressure. I enjoy massages, but the pressure was too much to my liking as I am sensitive. I've tried many massage places in the past and honestly it's usually hit or miss or starts off strong but not even 15 minutes in you can't feel a thing... Today I decided to try this place and am super glad that I did very clean private rooms. I had called and they took me in quickly as a walk in asked for someone very strong and he was very good. Every so often, my daughter and I will pamper ourselves with a massage. You can call, and more often than not, book a massage for that day. Sometimes they have specials available that include facials too! Great price and conveniently located. We always have a good experience. I enrolled in their VIP membership. Rude Front Desk. I made my reservations 3 days in advance. Confirmed location and was told multiple times that it's next to McDonald's. Got there 10 minutes in advance to be told no reservations. Was told I'm probably at the wrong one cause there's two sites. I looked outside and there was McDonalds. Woman never bothered to check the computer for my name. Living in Aiea, I frequently pass ZuDao Spa. I finally looked into their reviews and with their accommodating hours, was pleased enough to book an appointment. Upon entering, I noticed how clean and spacious it is. I was immediately acknowledged and brought to a room. Right away I was greeted by Lisa. She's very friendly and made me feel comfortable at all times. It was the best 1.5 hour massage I honestly received. Lisa massaged nearly every inch of my body. Giving two stars only because the front desk lady was nice to me I didn't appreciate being poked and rocked for the entire hour. And the "20" minute foot massage: OUCH. I couldn't wait to get it over with. Go to this place if you don't want to relax or do yourself that favor and book a 90 min but be FIRM about your pressure. One of the best reflexology + full body massages I've had. This includes my experiences in Taiwan, Beijing, LA and San Francisco. My therapist worked all the knots on the tiniest areas of my back. It was like he worked each individual backbone. Reflexology is meant to be painful, at least that's how I like it. But guess what! It was so relaxing that I fell asleep. I'm quite picky when it comes to massages, as it's pretty hard to satisfy me. A woman named Lisa (Asian with orange hair) had the gift of massage. I could tell she knew what she was doing because the pressure was right, she knew exactly where my knots were in my neck, and most importantly, her hands were heated like they learn to do in reiki healing. This place was absolutely incredible! The employees are extremely pleasant. I arrived 30 minutes early for my appointment, which was my fault, but they still had the decency to apologize for the delay! She gave me some water to drink while I waited. When the clock struck four, she let me wait in the room for my lash lift tint. The lady who did my lashes was called Velvet. She was absolutely incredible! She was very easy to talk to and very sweet. As she was finishing up with my lashes, she exclaimed, "Uh, I'm so proud of myself, I love them so much, I hope you do too." She reminded me of myself when I am proud of what I do! I adored her because she is so sweet. read more

Went here a few weeks ago for the 1st time. Initially, I called for an appointment but there was no record of it when I got there with my friend. The front desk lady was very apologetic and she handled it very well. We were set up with a new appointment time and she followed up with a text immediately after. My friend and I got the 40 min body and 20 min feet. This was a deep tissue massage and I had Lisa. She was definitely a professional. I started off with a foot soak and then she did my body. You can request to get oil on your feet, so that was nice. It did hurt but all my aches and pains were pretty much gone by the time I got home. The interior was nice, the rooms seem to be separated by a curtain. But my friend and I were able to share a room. read more

If you are to go here, BEWARE!!! DO NOT BOOK A MASSAGE WITH JIM!!! I can't stress how disgusted I am of this guy and how he will continue to work here. I booked a couples massage and my girlfriend and I were split up. I did my facial first and she got her massage first. We booked a 60 minute massage and speaking to them afterwards about the issue, they don't usually request the client to take their clothes due to time constraint. JIM did so, with my girlfriend after she was already laying down clothed. She didn't see anything wrong with it since that's how massages are elsewhere. With that being said. JIM was VERY INAPPROPRIATE. Never have I had the covers past my bum fully, at the most it would be right below my lower back. But he had her covers all the way down, with her bum out. She would pull the covers up, and he proceeded to try and do it multiple times. Massaging that portion of the body does not require the covers off. Especially if he is massaging just her back, he had her covers exposed during a back massage. Not only that, he had his leg in between her legs doing the massage, and she could feel his body pressed on hers. This is repulsive, disgusting, and harassment. If you want a professional and relaxing spa/massage environment. Stay away from this place!!! read more

I look for foot massages when I travel and am comparing this place to ones in Oakland, Alhambra, Las Vegas, Boston, China. Luckily I'm seeing more of these foot massages on Oahu. The ambience is one of the best and it is decorated well. There are semi private rooms so my friend and I were in a room. She is a VIP so she was able to get me a discount. The price is competitive and it was great quality. Unlike other foot massages where they seem to do foot and body, the price menu delineates how much you want of each. I chose to get a Swedish massage for 1 hour and I thought the facility was spacious and looked newly renovated. My masseuse was attentive to the way I prefer the pressure and did a great job.
