I was desperate to find a massage place open at 8:30pm, after I got off of work. It was a particularly rough day for my shoulders and upper back. I found Jenma thanks to Yelp, and man, did I luck out! My masseuse was Tori, and she was excellent! I requested the combo Swedish and Thai, and I really appreciated that she asked me where my trouble spots were. Great massage, and the highlights were her walking on my back and later, using her elbows. She really worked out the knots, and worked on spots that I didn't even know I had problems with, like my right hamstring. She walked on the left side and it was fine, but the right side was super-tight, and I didn't know. When I left, my shoulders and upper back felt so much better. This great place has easy parking all around and is easy to find! Inside was quiet with peaceful music and my room was nice and dim as well. Went in around lunch as a walk-in and Tori showed me to my room. My masseuse was great. Right away asked what areas needed work and she focused on my shoulders but gave a great full body massage with combination of stretching, pressure, heavy rolling, and hot towels included at the end. The bed has a warmer under the sheet to help you relax and I really melted into it. Between working all my knots and tension out, the dark room, quiet atmosphere and soothing music, OH and I almost forgot the hot towels at the end for my neck and face - I will be coming back! read more

I requested a deep tissue massage, but what I received was far from it. The technique was very basic--mostly just rubbing up and down along my spine with little to no pressure or focus on actual muscle tension. I've had dozens of deep tissue massages elsewhere, and this was definitely not one in any way. On top of that, she walked on my back after I specifically asked her not to. When I objected, she said it would be "better" because she wasn't strong enough, which is not an acceptable response to a clear client request. There was no attention to problem areas, no real muscle work, and overall it felt unprofessional and unskilled. If you're looking for a legitimate massage, I would not recommend this place. read more

Lada gives an excellent massage. She knew exactly what to do without me even telling her. I think she is new here, but her English was impressive. She also has good humor that puts you at ease. I wanted to like this place - centrally located, free parking, and was able to walk right in & be serviced immediately. Unfortunately, there were too many misses to ignore. I requested a Swedish Massage, which was priced at $70 for 60 mins. What I received was a Thai Massage. I tried to communicate to the therapist many times as she was sitting on me and stretching - all not elements of a Swedish massage - but she did not speak English. When she was done & before she left the treatment room, she asked me for my method of payment. Awkward! Instead of enjoying a meditation or my last few mins of relaxation, she was hurrying me to pay. When I get out to the front desk, I am told the service would be $80. WHAT?!? The person ringing me up had to go check with someone in the back (although the prices are clearly posted) and returned with the credit card machine to process a payment for $78. She hurried past the screen that showed the itemized receipt & went straight to the gratuity screen. Since taxes aren't 11%, I inquired what else was contributing to the total. She also did not speak English, so she went to get someone from the back that did. The person that came spoke broken English, but was able to show me that there was a 7% service charge added. I asked what that was for, as it can be a tip or credit card processing fee, and she said the latter. However, it was not disclosed and there was no placard. I went on to complete payment, and at the tip screen I selected 0%. She advised that a tip is REQUIRED BY LAW! Absolute insanity. At this point I lost my patience. Hearing the athletic discussion, another person came from the back (presumably the manager, who spoke English) and took over my transaction. This lady (Minnie or Mimi) is the only reason for the 2nd star. She actually took the time to inquire about my experience and why I was dissatisfied, instead of telling me lies of what is required. This experience left a negative taste in my mouth so I will not likely be back. read more

Wonderful massage by Minty! Although their air conditioner is broken at the moment, don't let this deter you from trying this place. They have made a work around with portable AC that is very comfortable. It was my first time getting Thai/combination massage and it was amazing. She was very attentive to when I needed pressure adjustments. The stretching was definitely new/a surprise to me but she kept me comfortable the whole time. Alrighty guys! First review of 2022 and I've been pondering this review for awhile. Planning to bring honestly and realness to my review, as always, so read at your own discretion! This place is conveniently located in Aiea Commercial Center, which is across from Aiea Bowl, and across from Egan's Bootcamp in the same center. Lots of free, unmetered parking available but stalls are narrow. Also recommend locking your cars and not keeping any valuables inside since the area does have a few homeless. Shop is small and clean. Newly done and the interior is high-end. Fresh flowers and lots of snacks available at the front desk. Three stars because: -Reservations were made online, but when we arrived they never received the reservation. Turns out they just neglected to see if they had any online bookings. -Couples massage room is VERY small! Our beds were less than 10" away from each other and I barely cleared the door when entering. Rooms were also warm and the music stopped about 20 minutes in. Lots of grunting in the quiet haha. -Varying levels of expertise for a Thai massage. I was thoroughly massaged and stretched, while my partner wasn't. While pricing varies at least they're transparent about it. Deep tissue is the cheapest option and the only option for couples massages if you're looking for a fair price. Prices go up depending on the style of massage. To make up for the reservation error we were offered any massage at a flat rate of 60 minutes per person. If youre looking for a massage place this is a great option for the area. Im not sure if I would do a couples massage again here, maybe just individual next time. Keep in mind the business does have a punch card available for every ten massages you get a discounted one which is a great perk! read more

I booked at Jenma on a whim because it was close to my house, had great reviews, and it was easy to book online. There's ample parking located in the same lot as Aiea Copy. When I arrived about 10 mins early, the door was locked but there was a sign with a phone number to call/text. Just before my appt, Minty came to the door to let me in. She provided me info about the restroom & how to prep for the massage. I originally booked a lomilomi for relaxation, but after asking about my trouble areas & needs, Minty recommended a Thai combo instead. She was absolutely right. I definitely needed the stretching & pressure point massage. I love hard pressure and Minty is really strong. Some parts were a little sore because my muscles were so tense, but Minty constantly made sure I was comfortable and explained the process clearly. Afterwards I felt great. She was excellent and fixed things I didnt even realize were broken lol. 10/10. She told me next time I can also just text them to make an appt. Love it! Note: If they're with clients, the door might be locked. But don't worry, someone will come let you in before your appt. I recommend arriving just before your scheduled time to avoid any wait (if its an issue for you). read more

Amazing massage. I wanted to get a massage for my birthday and didn't want to travel far. Minty answered my phone call and I was able to come in that morning for a massage. I got a Swedish massage and felt so relaxed that I caught myself falling asleep. I was supposed to run errands after my massage but the massage was so good I just ended up going home to take a nap. I've done the full body thai massage and combined it with upper body cupping and I feel like they really listen to my concerns and address each area throughout the massage. Jenma Thai Massage is my new favorite massage spot! I've been three separate times, each with a different massage therapist, and all experiences were worthy of 5 stars. Availability- For each appointment I called day-of and they let me come in either immediately or within 1.5 hours. Cleanliness/Aesthetics- Very clean and professional setting Friendliness- Minty is especially friendly and explains expectations/directions, but all massage therapists are nice. Price: Reasonable and fair. Quality of service- I've had probably 100 massages by over a dozen different massage therapists, and Jenma's rates among the best ones I've had! Each therapist I've seen here has great technique and I left feeling incredible, itching to go right back. I don't know the names of the two other women I saw, but Minty was especially skilled at removing knots and encouraging circulation without causing much pain. I am unusually sensitive, so this was impressive; I was in such peace 10 minutes in. Each therapist is wonderful though. I also love the sweet detail of offering tea and sometimes a snack at the end of service. The wife and I have been meaning to try this place out for a while when we saw them first open a little bit ago. But with 2 little ones, it was hard to find time. We finally got a weekend free, so I booked an appointment on their website. The website was nice and easy to navigate. Services and pricing are clearly displayed and there were no hidden or additional fees, minus a service fee for paying with a card. When I first arrived, I was greeted by Minty. I told her I had booked the couple's massage that morning. We were taken into the couple's room, the decor was nice and ambiance relaxing. One thing that really stood out was the heated massage tables. About 20 minutes into the massage, Minty asked again when I had booked the appointment for and when I repeated the date, she tells me that it was actually for tomorrow. SO EMBARRASSING. I had mixed up my days. =P Minty was really nice about the mix up though and said there was an opening at that time so that's why she accepted us. The rest of the massage was great. Mona was my masseuse and she kept asking if I was comfortable with the amount of pressure being used. Overall, a great experience. We are usually very active so we expect it to be hard and they go hard. I had Demi I believe? Not sure how it is spelled but she was amazing. Honestly best massage I had and we've had quite a few before. My husband had Jackie, she beat him up for sure. But, he said it was really great! The atmosphere was very nice, they didn't talk much which was pleasant just because I can focus on the music and feel more relaxed. Some places I have been to they would talk the whole time to one another but they did not do that. Or if they did talk it was to check on us and see how we were doing I really appreciated the fact that at the end of the service she let us know about the service fee and tax and if we want to avoid that option that we can pay in cash.
