My friends live nearby and told me they often get massage here. We came as a group of four with a reservation. We all chose combo (60 min). For me, I chose body (20 min) + foot (40 min). The owner took us to our rooms. The boys were together and the girls were in another room. My preference is private room so I was happy about that. The staffs don't really speak English but the owner told them which combo we wanted. The staff member I got was friendly but he did asked me a few times which combo I wanted...I repeated a few times. Started with body and you don't lay down for this portion. They asked you to sit at the end of the bed and they massage you while you sit. The staff that I got is pretty good. He knew right away my issue areas are shoulders and neck. He was surprised and went "Oh!!" when he felt my neck and shoulders. He definitely fixed it. By the way, I asked for someone who is stronger. I don't like massage that is light/soft/gentle squeeze. My friend preferred that and got matched with a staff who can accomodate. For feet, you soaked them in a tub first. I noticed they used lotion for feet but not anywhere else on the body (head, arms, etc.). I guess different places do different things. At one point a dog barked a couple of times. I was relaxed until I was woken up by the barking. I can hear staff members going "sshhh! sshhh!" and the dog stopped. After massage ended, we went back to the lobby. The staff member offered us water and you can choose the temperature. I don't live in Hawaii but I would love to visit this place again in the future. I really like private rooms and would love to try other massage therapy they offer. Parking was easy to find. My friends said it's best to make an appointment first as they get booked. read more

I was in need of a self-care day, badly, and I came across this gem on Yelp. I always see this place when I drive but would have never thought that inside was just pure...bliss. They are located in the Pearl Kai Shopping Center with their own little free parking area. I didn't have an appointment but they took me in right away. Granted I did show up right when they opened. There's a beautiful, calming fountain that's adjacent to the waiting area. I already knew I was going to love it here because of that centerpiece alone. I was escorted to one of the back rooms and I was pleasantly surprised on how massive the inside is. Tons of rooms & beds that accomodate couples & group sessions too. The rooms are divided by thick curtains to provide privacy. It was clean & comfortable with an amazing ambiance to relax in. I asked for the Combo session which is the 60 min Body & 30 min Foot Massage...and omgosh let me just sayyyyy....self-care was activated by the first initial touch. They first sit you down on the chair & bring in a basket of warm water to soak your feet in while they give you a quick back rub. Then they offer you an option of clothes on or off. I opted for off to get the full experience. My goodness guys...I recommend Zu Dao 100/100. The price was totally reasonable for a 90 minute massage and woooo did they work out allll the aches & pains in my entire body. I Loved Every Single Second of it!! They are now my go-to. Forever. Large, beautiful, and very professional establishment. We stopped in for an hour long couples massage. I don't have any gender preferences when it comes to massages, my husband does. Usually the receptionist asks when I schedule appointments, this time we were not asked and I forgot this detail. so if it's important to you, I'd recommend being clear about your preferences. I tend to prefer Thai massages, especially deep tissue massages so I enjoyed every minute, my husband later shared that he felt he was being tortured because he's more sensitive to pressure. ZuDao Spa is a MUST add to your list for top massage parlors on island. Their prices are better than most and the atmosphere is very relaxing and calming. The spa and its decor is much fancier than the rest of their neighbors in Pearl Kai Shopping center... I was very much enraptured in the beautiful indoor water feature display in the main room. I came here one day out of curiosity because they offer foot reflexology massage and I was in desperate need of it. I opted for the 90 minutes option and was taken care of by Lisa. At first, I thought, "Oh- she's kupuna kine age- I wonder if she'll have the strength for medium-firm pressure the whole time" and MAN was I in for a surprise! Lisa is, by far and hands down, the BEST masseuse I've ever had. I was a little panicked at the beginning of the massage because she started working on my shoulders and my back and neck and I was thinking "This feels amazing but I REALLY wanted the foot reflexology- did I ask for the wrong thing/ did the desk concierge switch my request with another client" etc and then after about 15 minutes, she started working on my feet... it was the BEST introduction to a foot massage EVER in the history of massage! That was just part of her amazing service and technique to get you to relax all your body and I was sad when she moved on to my feet, to tell you the truth! I was so impressed by everything about my experience that I convinced my picky-about-massages mommy to come here and all for Lisa. Went for a 60min (40 body and 20 foot) massage and came out feeling more relaxed than going in. The reason for 3 stars is due to the lack of personalized massage. I wasn't prepped on how this place worked, or what to expect. I wasn't asked about pressure or any trouble areas. I must say I am used to Thai massages and body oil so it was interesting that it was clothed. I'm glad I asked for a private room as I don't think I would have enjoyed it in the public bed area. I recommend that women come dressed in mid length leggings and nothing bulky as you'll keep your clothes on. It was interesting that as I was paying the massage therapist were just waiting around for us, I'm not sure if that's how it typically works there but it did come off as they we're definitely waiting for their tip. The location is convenient enough for me but I think I would drive further for my regular spots. This was my second time coming to this spa. I like that they accept walk-ins and I didn't need to make an appointment. It's easy to choose which service you want and they will show you to your room quickly. This place is much bigger than I thought it would be. It's very clean and nicely decorated inside. Today I got the food and body combo massage. Once you get to your room, you can have a seat and wait for your massage therapist. Today I had Jason and he was amazing! He got all the kinks in my shoulders and I felt so relieved once it was over. I even contemplated extending my massage to 90 minutes instead of just an hour. When it was done, he gave me water as I checked out. The prices are pretty affordable for a great massage. There are a bunch of parking stalls right in front of the spa too. This was my second time here. I been wanting to get a massage lately and i finally called to see if they had any openings. I went during rush hour traffic and i figure it wasnt busy. They were not busy at all. The place is clean and welcoming. Sorry, i forgot to take pictures to share. Next time, ill remember. There was a female who welcomed me and she was very nice. They have a shower if you need to use. They have all the things you need to take a shower. Well organized. They have separate rooms and they have 2 massage beds inside. My massage therapist was David. He is awesome! Im so glad that i got him to massage me. This was the first time i could feel all the knots in my body and he worked hard on getting it out. He knew my body was tense and needed work. I took a lot of deep breaths to loosen up the knots. I am definitely going to see him again in a couple of weeks. The prices are good, reasonable. They even have membership, which is great for those who like to get massages all the time. The hours are good. It accommodates all types of people who have different work shifts. Parking is free. I recommend the body and foot combo. Dress comfortable. Good thing about coming here is that you don't need to take off all your clothes. Tank top and shorts are good. As long as you are comfortable. I used to go to Zudao in town but happily there's one close to home now! I go here with my husband or on my own. Same peaceful ambiance as on Kapiolani but with private rooms. I got hooked on Chinese style foot massages in Vegas as this is just as good but the price is higher than Vegas. These are body massages with a little foot massage and acupressure thrown in. I really prefer this style of massage to thai massage or lomilomi and I've been getting massages for decades. I ended up signing up as a VIP customer so for a one time investment I get a discount every time. Now I can treat myself whenevers. I really like Jason as the pressure is hard enough to be therapeutic but not so hard that you can't relax. read more

I'm a daily gym goer and have been feeling the effects of it, especially on my lower back and lower extremity. Decided to take the plunge and get a massage. I was initially contemplating reflexology, but needed more than just the focus of the feet, so I chose a 60 minute full body and 30 minute foot combo massage with ZuDao Spa. Found this amazing place on Yelp. I wondered why I've never heard or seen this place before, considering we frequent the Pearl Kai Shopping Center. Combed closer through the reviews and discovered that this location recently opened. Called to see if they had an opening on the same day and luckily they did. Parking is ample but availability is hit or miss. The lot on one side closest to ZuDao is only a few, probably 5 or 6 stalls tops and a tight squeeze. The lot on the other side is a 30 minute tow zone, according to the signs posted. I wouldn't recommend to park in the stalls by the urgent care clinic unless you want to be "that guy". I'd suggest to occupy the spots across of A&A Barber. The interior of the spa is so chan. Very peaceful and calming immediately as you walk through their door. The front desk receptionists were welcoming. They told me that my therapist would be with me soon, and offered me a glass of water and seating closest to the waterfall. The massage was outstanding. He applied deep pressure, kneading the knots with his hands, elbows, and forearms, which was just what my tissues and muscles needed. You can definitely tone down the intensity to a more tolerable level, just make sure you communicate and be open with your therapist. I definitely rate ZuDao Spa a 5 star. lots of parking in pearl kai shopping center inside is huge too, lots of space to take customers! couldnt find any information on their website or IG about pricing or services, so walked in to look at the menu. they were super empty, i dont even know if they had any other clients, so they were able to take me right away. i got the 60m body massage reminded me of west coast style chinese massage places. keep your clothes on, and they massage you through the sheet that they put on top of you. pressure was good. i like it med to hard, and the guy i had definitely did it on the harder side. most of the time was spent on my stomach and got a back massage pricing is good, as theyre on the cheaper side compared to a regular massage place. not as relaxing since you keep everything on, and it was rather rough. but if you have a pain youre trying to get this is the spot to go to because they do a good job of getting deep into the tissue. next time i go back im going to try the half and half, body and foot massage, just to see how it differs read more

Found this place on Yelp trying to look for a couple's massage. This place is such a gem! The ambiance is so relaxing, the people are so nice, and the (full body and feet) massages were amazing! My boyfriend and I don't know how, but the masseuse's found every problem spot that we had and focused on them. The music was very calming and just the entire experience was perfect. Called at 9:50a...they told me I could come in at 10a for a 60 min massage. Ample parking, beautiful entry, great customer service when greeted. Was shown to my room and got comfy on the massage table. The guy came in and started. Asked if I'm ok with a hard massage...and yes I was as I had a ton of knots in my shoulders. Worst experience. The massage itself left me feeling uncomfortable and on edge the entire time. Towels and blankets were constantly being lifted and literally thrown on me exposing my naked body for extended periods of time,I really felt uncomfortable for all 90 minutes and just felt like they were making things up as they went. Nothing relaxing or enjoyable-at one point the employee was standing further away (I could see his feet through the face hole) and he chucked a towel over to my body lol instead of setting it on me nicely??..The employee left during the massage 5 times to talk to other employees in the hallway, and also in the room. There was constant talking amongst employees during the entire massage. Upon checking out was advised after the fact that only cash is accepted, no sign posted and never advised of cash only policy beforehand (there's a credit card terminal sitting right on the reception desk) They wanted me to give my cc number over the phone to some random lady or find an atm, also wanted me to stay behind as my husband went and found an atm, like human collateral?? Refused to provide receipt, the list goes on and on. The woman at the front is rude and aggressive, the men are kind enough, just don't speak any English and the entire transaction was nearly impossible. Zero stars, the visit really did ruin my day and I normally let things go and can appreciate bad days-this was bad business and it felt almost illegal, something very off. Stay clear. BEST DATE NIGHT EVER! My partner and I were trying to figure out what to do for date night. A massage was the last thing we thought of because of the time but found ZuDao by chance and saw they were open late. From beginning to end the experience was amazing! We called for reservations 1 hr before we arrived at 7:30pm. When we arrived the ambiance was exceptional. They were more than accommodating and we even added on facials at the last minute which they accommodated. Our massages was amazing. Don't let them fool you they are extremely strong and really work your body. They consistently checked in on us to make sure we were ok and the foot massage was everything and the facial was beyond our expectation. I've never had a massage before so I was a little hesitant. Been going here for a year now. Every massage has a different experience- both good and bad quality. I wish all masseuse are great and professional but some are obviously new and still needs to learn. I have the yearly membership because in my early visits it was good but as the year goes by it started go get a little worst everytime. Also I've noticed as I walk down the hallways after the massage all of the clocks inside the rooms have different times. This place is AMAZING. Trust me. Fantastic customer service begins with your initial phone call. I didn't get the name of the young gal working the front/spoke to on the phone but she was very kind, patient, and definitely knows and does her job well. As soon as you walk in, you are immediately greeted by her, absolute Zen, and a very neat and spacious room. They have a variety of services available and are also in the process of implementing more which I will definitely be returning for. Their prices are, in my opinion, unbeatable. My friend and I felt it was an absolute pleasure to be so well taken care of by Lisa and Jason. The massage was so good, we both fell asleep and couldn't even properly comprehend upon waking up that they wanted us to move down a bit on the massage bed. Or maybe it was just me, haha. I have been here two times, both times my back and body was really tight prior to coming here. I was little hesitant the first time I came because the place looked like the sketchy foot massage places in Las Vegas or the mainland but I found this place to be actually legit. The interior is nice with a waterfall that separates the front from the foot massage chairs. A wall separates the foot massage area from the full body massage area. The full body massage areas have a door and a wall but the (rooms) are only separated by curtains so you can here the people getting massaged next to you which was little weird. But the great thing about this place is the massage therapists. The most recently being Cece, was strong, thorough, and completely relaxed my back and body to the point where I didn't have any pain at all. I went in today for a 60-minute full body massage and a 60-minute foot massage at Zudao's new Pearl Kai Shopping Center location. It was fantastic! Here's my review: LOCATION/ATMOSPHERE: The space is enormous and easy to find (facing Kamehameha Highway on the Ewa end of the center closest to McDonald's). If you've been to the Zudao Foot Massage on Kapiolani, the inside of this one feels more high-end with a modern asian interior design. There is a gorgeous Feng Shui water fountain in the front. There are open spaces for foot massage but they also have private rooms for full body massage. The rooms can even expand to accommodate couples or groups! The restrooms are clean and well kept. I could see them disinfecting. The staff and massage therapists all wore masks so it felt safe. Overall, nice layout and relaxing atmosphere! MASSAGE: This style of Chinese massage is where you remain fully clothed and they drape a sheet over you and massage over the sheet. I personally like/need deep tissue, firm pressure massage therapy. I work at a desk all day and have chronic neck, shoulder, and lower back pain. For me, this massage was the perfect mix of DEEP tissue work plus some light stretching/twisting, which felt really good! I had a kink in my left shoulder blade and he really worked it out! I believe their menu lists Swedish massage too, but I can only speak to deep tissue because that's what I got and that's what I love. If you're like me, then you'll probably like this type of massage too. SERVICE: I called to make an appointment one day before. The person who scheduled my appointment was friendly and I got the time that I wanted. They have long hours, which is perfect for me because I prefer to get massages on the weekends and some other places have limited weekend hours. They also accept walk-ins which is awesome for those who randomly decide they want a massage right now! (Oftentimes me ‍ - LOL) PRICING/VALUE: Here's what I love the most--the prices are so affordable! You can get a good 60-minute massage for $60! Other "fancy" spas easily charge over $100 for a 50-minute massage these days. Zu Da Spa makes it easy for regular people to incorporate massage therapy as part of maintaining their health and well being without breaking the bank! They even have a membership program that makes it more affordable if you plan to get massages regularly. Finally, I hear they also offer facials and will be offering hair salon and nail salon services soon. I can't wait to come back and check those out. Thanks to Yelp reviewers posting their 5-star reviews about this new chinese massage establishment in the Pearl Kai shopping center. It's been open 2 months so everything is clean, new & spacious. Hubby & I just did a 1 hr. couple massage (private room) & felt soooo great afterwards. They do an ahh-mazing reflexology (foot massage) there too. They took out all of our knots and tightness in our bodies. We loved it so much that we signed up for the membership of $60. We can go as many times as we want within 6 months up to 2 people total per card at the discounted rate. This is Zu Dao Spa's 2nd location.
