I was able to get an appointment on Tuesday for 10 a.m. 90 min. when I called on Sunday. Received a text reminder appointment on the morning of. Plenty of free parking at Stadium Mall and easy to spot their yellow sign. Got there a few minutes before our time, they greeted us and as they were setting up our room, me and my husband used the restroom before they got started. Eddy was my husband's masseuse, she listened and she did a great job working on his problem areas with a combination massage, while matching his energy. She was a joy to be in the room with. Mona was my masseuse and for some reason, she knew the areas where I needed massaged by using the combination massage (not as intense as what my husband got) and with perfect medium pressure. At the suggestion of my husband I decided to try a new massage place. We went on the same day at different times and we both got different experiences. We chose this place due to the ratings so I had high expectations, but I left disappointed. I forget the name of the massage therapist, but it was a lady. She asked if there was any specific areas I wanted her to work on. I told her that my shoulders were tight and asked if she could work out the knots. I will give her credit she did focus on my shoulders but it seems like the rest of my back and legs got bare minimum. She cracked my neck which I was not expecting. In the past I've never had neck manipulation during massage. She also did basic stretching but, compared to previous massage experiences at other places, it was lacking. When it came to paying, she asked if I was paying card or cash. I told her that I would pay by card. She proceeded to say she wanted cash and directed me to the ATM located in the corner. I thought it was weird, but I withdrew money anyway. I didn't want to make a big deal of it. I paid in cash $180 including tip for a 1.5 massage. I was not offered a receipt. I left feeling lightheaded, which I know is common after massage, but it took longer for to me recover than other places. I ended up sitting in my car about 20 minutes before felt I ok to drive home. I have been here twice now in 1 week!!! I called once and asked for a last minute massage. They were able to get me in for a 60 minute massage and I got Nikki as my therapist. She was amazing! Not only did she work on all my problem areas she made sure to check in and make sure she was going deep enough. The stretching during the massage was something I didn't know I so needed. I didn't want the massage to end. On top of everything being great, The price was unbelievable. At the end of the massage I knew I had to come back and I also knew I wanted Nikki again. We all know that it's nearly impossible to book a massage for less than $10 in the states, but at Bangkok Thai Massage their Thai massage technique is spot on and I will gladly pay that price at least once a year! This gem is located near Aloha Stadium and offers convenient parking and great massage services! I have been here three times so far and always book a 60 minute Combo Massage (Thai/Deep Tissue). The technique consists of strong hands, gliding elbows, a slow and steady walk on top of my back & legs, and stretching that I could not possibly do myself. All with pressure to your liking! The first half of the massage is face-down and I'm glad it is because if the masseuse could see my facial expressions she'd wonder why I keep agreeing to the maximum pressure. LOL. I'm easily tickled and will squirm, so to prevent from moving or saying "Oww" too many times out loud, I shut my eyes tight and grit my teeth because I know in the end that any kinks will be worked out and my muscles will feel relaxed. The facility is very clean and offers a couples massage room. The massage table I typically have is heated and placed in an air conditioned room with very dim lighting. On Monday, they offer a military discount for active duty service members. But even without the military discount, I believe their massage prices are a great value compared to other places on Oahu. I had been here before and gave 5 stars and did a 60 min today we 90 min couple massage. My masseuse Nancy the worst. She never once asked me anything and the massage was her just lathering oil on me in a freezing room. While my husband had the best she was constantly checking on him and asking him if he was good. I asked please no stretching and she did just that and now my neck and middle shoulders are more tense than coming in. This is the worst we're in the lobby and you ask me what's wrong and you want to be confrontational about it. I was happy to pay and tip and never comeback. They called me 8 minutes prior to my massage to inform me that she had "been in an accident and if I was willing to try another Masseus?" I agreed and they put me in a room with a paper partition next to me which made me apart of the massage in the next room!
