Came on a Thursday night with friends for dinner, ordered a few rounds of dinner and cocktails. I forgot to take pictures of the later rounds and the drinks. It was pretty empty and we were the only ones there for a while. The decor has got a club vibe and very bright. It smelled like someone had be smoking inside for the whole time we were there so that really bothered us. We also wanted the dice kit, which we never got. Skewers are reasonably priced and decent. Not the biggest portions but not bad. I particularly liked the quail eggs and rice cakes. you can adjust the spice level. Word of caution on getting the super spicy for the whole squid, it can really catch a lot of seasoning so it can get pretty hot. It gave a fun, futuristic vibe to the place You order off a QR code and the servers bring your food to the table. We got a pitcher of beer and two cocktails. Came here on Friday night around 5:30pm. We were the first customers. It took 5 mins for staff to find us. Decoration was nice and bright, perfect for Friday night feeling. We had - Takoyaki - Marinated salmon. You should not expect good food here. Takoyaki tasted like the one heated from frozen. Salmon had a bad fishy aftertaste. Super cool Chinese bar filled with neon lights. Make sure to make your reservation way in advance! We did a walk in around 9PM trying to get a table for 10 people. We were quoted that the wait will be around an hour, which is no problem, we just went to another bar first before coming back. However, the wait ended up being 3 hours as they were waiting for one large table to leave before flipping it over to us. Again, it wasn't a problem for us since we were occupied at another bar anyway. But a reminder that if we ever want to go with a larger group to make a reservation in advance. Lots of people also tried walking in to get a table but had to wait and was turned away as well. Once we got in the vibes were immaculate. The interior is filled with lots of colourful neon lights which really adds to the bar experience. They also have a lot of fun drinks on their menu that you order through their qr code. We got a round of drinks that were super fun to share with the entire table. There was a tray of mini tea cups that had alcohol in it - this was super tasty and can barely taste the alcohol. Would get this again. They also have fruit alcoholic towers that are great for sharing. Lastly for sharing, we got a round of colourful shots that came in a UFO looking tray and a clear ball in the middle (see photos for reference). All the drinks are on the sweeter side so drink with caution in case of next day hangovers. They also serve food that is pretty tasty like the cold dish jellyfish, cold surf clams, and a variety of skewered meats. We also got a drink tower which lasted through the night along with the individual drinks we each ordered. They have unique drinks - our favourite was the MBTI drinks. Service was fast and servers were polite. You scan a qr code to order. Came here for my birthday and it was an amazing experience. The interior vibes are super unique and futuristic, with Asian-style neon art everywhere. We were a group of 12 and were able to get a semi-secluded large table upstairs. Service was quick, attentive, and friendly. It came with a 1.5L Pitcher Tower and 2 cocktail drinks. We only finished 1/3 of the pitcher tower because we had already reached our limit. The combo comes with 2 snacks (I wouldn't call it a snack because it was a large bowl of fried rice) and so many skewers that we could barely finish them. (We packed the remaining food for our lunch next day!) We loved everything from the drinks to the food and the cyberpunk theme, which is the most unique dining experience you can find nowhere else. Disappointing and Dangerous Experience We had one of the worst dining experiences we've had in a very long time at Zui Beer Bar & Restaurant. The service was disorganized at best, and negligent at worst--especially when it came to handling a serious food allergy. It started off poorly: we had a reservation for six, but upon arrival, we were told to wait at the door--even though our friends were already seated and the restaurant was nearly empty. Not exactly a warm welcome. Next, we asked about the daily special listed on the website--the Dizzy Tea--which was prominently advertised. Our server said she would check, disappeared for nearly ten minutes, and eventually returned to tell us that the special only applied to another location. Frustrating, but not the end of the world. What was a serious issue: one of our friends has a nut allergy and clearly communicated this to the server. We were given a shortlist of safe items, and she placed her order through the restaurant's mobile system, adding "Nut allergy - thank you :)" in the designated allergy section. The rest of us ordered dishes to share, specifically ensuring the nut-free items would be for our friend. When the food arrived, those "nut-free" items were missing. The server then informed us those dishes *actually contained nuts.* When asked again if anything on the menu was nut-free, she went to check--again--and this time came back with a surprisingly long list of supposedly safe items. Our friend reordered, again clearly noting the allergy in the app. The new dish arrived, and she cautiously tried one piece of chicken. Ten minutes later, another server approached to tell us the chicken seasoning actually contained nuts. Unfortunately, the reaction had already started--mouth swelling, itching--forcing her to leave the restaurant to get allergy medication. When we returned, we asked for the bill. We had to specifically request that the chicken dish be removed. No apology. No compensation. No accountability. A food allergy is not a minor inconvenience. If a restaurant cannot guarantee allergen safety, they need to *clearly communicate that upfront*--not provide conflicting information and hope for the best. This experience was not only disappointing--it was dangerous. We won't be returning, and we certainly can't recommend it to anyone, especially those with dietary restrictions. I suppose the atmosphere is cool - but considering the place has SMALL portions and TERRIBLE service- I wouldn't waste my time. read more

The interior of the bar is definitely one of the most aesthetic and stimulating I've seen yet. The bar has two levels, both filled with tables and wonderful decor. This bar has an interesting table light system which allows patrons to choose their social level with other guests (i.e. if the lamp on your table was a certain colour, it indicated you were open to have other guests come up and speak with you). I will say that the atmosphere when I went wasn't as lively as I wished or expected. The bar had a good selection of drinks and snacks available.
