Dim lighting, tables and booths, and nice bathrooms. A great hangout spot with plenty of parking front and back. Good for small groups of 2-8. Came with a group of 6. Servers are friendly and quick. Ordered a few rounds of chicken cartilage, carbonara, and fried chicken to go with a pitcher of beer and two bottles of Jameson. We also got a couple cans of Arizona and Ginger Ale as well.

A great place to hang out to eat or drink. It does get busy later at night so make sure to call and reserve ahead of time. Was satisfied with everything ordered: pancake, green onion fried chicken, spicy cartilage

Great new spot for Korean bar food! The design inside is newly renovated and has a dim and moody atmosphere. All the food items are solid choices, with a lot of variety, and the service is friendly.

The food was okay overall. I think it will be better if go with their soju and cocktails, but we didn't do alcohol. I was going for their famous stir fried beef intestine and beef tartare. Honestly I was a bit let down coz I had high expectations - the raw beef was too chewy and the beef intestine was too strong on black pepper sauce. I do love the pear on the side with the beef tartare, it was refreshing and Korean style. This place is a bar and very loud after dark. Our waitress was attentive.

They have a jukebox to add in your songs (long waitlist) and honestly was quite packed on Friday night as well. The server Denis presented us to the dart room where a couple was there. Our group was 5 people so he asked them to just move to the other table so we can take the other two. There were 3 tables in that room. This was perfect because we basically were in a private room, huge plus! We arrived on time for the happy hour and got lots of drinks, no food at all. The shots were pretty watered down or just did not taste 40% vodka at all. Also grabbed two wine bottles outside of the happy hour. Place is quite nice, very fun. Got a free shot, server was so kind as well. A great night indeed. Washroom for women is downstairs and men's washroom was beside the darts room. Would love to come here again for sure.

The food was delicious. I couldn't finish the pasta because I also ate the garlic bread that came with it. So I packed that up to go home. Just keep in mind people this is a pub. It's not a gastro pub where the food is supposed to be michelin star. So adjust your expectations. Having said that I still think the food here is decent. I haven't had any horrible food here. Service: We had a lovely black lady serving us. I didn't catch her name unfortunately. But we have been served by her before. She's perfectly nice & our service from her was great. She took our drink orders first. And then we placed our main dish orders. The food came out relatively quickly as well. We came here for lunch on a Saturday. Ambiance: The furniture has been rearranged a bit. There used to be a sofa at the back near the stairs to the washroom. Now there's a large table there. Other than that it's still the cozy pub vibe. I'm not sure why people have given recent bad review for this place. Hubby & I have been going here on & off for years & not had a bad experience.

Both are non-negotiable and always hit. We still like to switch it up sometimes, and this visit we tried a few different dishes: * Kataifi-Wrapped prawn tempura: crunchy, and the wasabi mayo was my favorite part. * Nagasaki Champon with ramen: cozy and comforting. * Grilled Squid with butter: simple and done right * Beef Brisket Yaki Soba: savory and satisfying, with bonito flakes doing their little dance on top. * Karaage: coming from someone who doesn't love greasy food, this one was not greasy at all and still juicy inside. Lowkey missing their grilled beef intestine though Great highball selection as well. We got the peach highball for the one who likes sweet, and the yuzu highball for the one who likes sour. I went with the Snow beer Sapporo, topped with shaved frozen beer. Such a nice way to keep the beer cold without diluting it. Service here has always been amazing, whether they're busy or not, and that's a big reason why I keep coming back.

We were seated in a booth, which was cozy. The lighting kept changing throughout the night though, seemingly darker and darker each time. But there was a touch lamp with different settings on the table, so that helped. It was quite busy, so it did take a bit of time to order, but once we ordered, food came out at a decent pace. None of us drink, so we ordered about 8 menu options, which was a bit too much (we ended up packing some at the end), but price was very reasonable. Everything tasted better than we assumed would be just average, typical dishes. The 3 dishes we enjoyed most were the Beef Tartare, Pork Ribs, and Watercress Pancake. Most other Korean restaurants in the city don't typically offer this type of pancake, so it was a good choice. Atmosphere vibes were good, with the decor resembling an old-school hotel bar. There was music playing as well, which was a little loud, but still at a volume that you can have conversations. Nice spot for friend gathering or even a date night.

We ordered the oden set with yogurt soju, Taiwanese popcorn chicken, and the salmon fried udon with uni sauce. Everything was super comforting and flavorful, especially the oden on a cold night. What really made it stand out was the bingo game. It got the whole bar involved and made the night feel more interactive and social. We ended up chatting with a group nearby and even taught them a Malaysian yam seng cheers, which turned into a really fun moment. Great spot for a lively night out with good food and energy. The server looks cute but doesn't seem to be knowledgeable when we had questions (and keep forgot our requests..) I support local businesses and hate to say this. But probably I may not come back anymore as now there are many other fusion bar options available in North York. *This is only personal opinion, and your experience might be different. Confirmed by our guest ;) As always, the team here are very attentive and polite, especially our waitress Selena. Seeing that its a Wednesday - OYSTER NIGHT BUCK A SHUCK!? had some malpeques with an assorted tray of their housemade sauces/vinaigrettes to dress! Ebi Mayo - this is one of the many staples and MUST TRYs at Nome! Jumbo tiger shrimp, lightly battered and tossed in a creamy sweet chili sauce - served with a shrimp cracker! Be sure you give that lemon a squirt before enjoying! Sashimi Salad - chopped lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and you cant go wrong with some tasty assorted sashimi on top! I don't know what the dressing is but bury me in it please! Mmm! Samurai Crunch Salad - don't be fooled because it says salad. This bowl is topped with so many different crunchy stuff - crispy wonton, kettle cooked potatoes chips, fried shredded tiny bits of something so good I don't care what it is give me more, and a very nice creamy dressing (optional on the side). The food left a lot to be desired and we all felt very bloated leaving the restaurant. * Double salmon roll - rice was kind of hard, fish was "dry" - you could tell that it was pre-made and perhaps been sitting, waiting for service * Crispy pork belly - greasy * Tiger shrimp - flavour was nice, but we felt the shrimp while cooked, wasn't coming to the table "freshly" cooked * Galbi - perhaps a personal preference, but we thought the cuts of beef were quite fatty. * NFC - dry and cold * Rainbow natto - probably the best item served? * Bulgogi tacos - these were smaller portions before and I think I prefer them smaller so that you can have more variety in what you're eating. Overally I found these extremely greasy and the ratio of beef to wrap was off, there was too much meat for the wrap. * Japa burgers - huge - you could eat one burger and be full. these were smaller (also cheaper) before. * Oysters - the "buck-a-shuck" oysters are EXTREMELY small, not worth it at all. Service was mid at best. We appreciated the bartenders offer to make some of the beverages non-alcoholic. I expected better for an early seating when there weren't many customers. Like I said, somehow all the food came out all at once, which really concerned me and made the eating experience quite difficult. That, coupled with the lack of attention throughout the meal, made for a sub-par dining experience.

The stand out dishes for me were the wanza noodles and pork belly skewers. I made sure to get the noodles with less spice which was the right choice for me. It still had some heat to it but it didn't overpower the dish. I liked the seasoning on the pork belly skewers - very flavourful and yummy. Service was efficient.
