However, I do think regular rice would suit the dakdoritang the best. The stir fried pork with kimchi had a nice bul-mat/wok-hei flavor, but it wasn't anything to write home about. One of the standout dishes was the Korean beef tartare, which had such a lovely pepperiness paired with the fragrance of the roasted sesame oil. I think it tastes as good as most wines in the $10-$15 range at LCBO, which is what I usually drink. We also have picked up DIY 2L beer kits ($6) from here in the past, which I also highly recommend. So simple, just drop a vial of yeast into the bottle, leave it on your kitchen counter, and in 7-10 days, BEER! We already have our next batch of wine picked out so I can't wait to go get it made.
