Probably one of the better ME places I have been to in smaller towns. There are things they do well and some could use some work. Service is spotty with the girls often getting distracted by playing with their phones or folding napkins, oblivious to empty cups or time to offer the check. Food: Babaghanoush is probably one of the best I have had. For clarification, I like the traditional taste (like my grandma used to make), where you can actually taste the eggplant. My son likes the creamed downed version, with less eggplant taste and texture. For ME, this place knocks it out of the ballpark! Proteins are a mixed bag: The chicken is sometimes moist, other times a bit dry. Consistency here could use some attention. Beef kabobs/souvlaki is always overcooked, I am just going to stop ordering it here. Cook it to a medium and stop! Every single time it's well done and lacks flavor, just a chewy shoe. Rice is solid. Pita slices are a joke. C'mon do better! A nice warm pita or lavash sliced into quarters would go a long way. Overall: Definitely worth a visit and carry outs are packed very well. read more

We found Zullee on Yelp. We wanted dinner that we could eat back at our hotel. Travelling with our dog kept us out of dining rooms. Our choices were always places with outdoor dining that allowed dogs, or grabbing food to eat at a park or our hotel. No complaints, she had a great time! I placed the order online and it was ready when we arrived for pick-up. The only hic-cup was that I put my wife's name on the order and she gave my name. Who? That was easy peasy to figure out. The cashier was very friendly and was quite happy to give us the necessary even though I had checked no utensils and couldn't figure out how to uncheck it. I ordered on Uber Eats and my order was trash. The portion of meat was soooo small and it was pretty much just rice and I ordered extra pita which I don't know what there normally size servings is but 4 tiny triangles is outrageous especially since it paid 2$ extra for it. Also I ordered 2 side of garlic sauce and it looks and taste just like the taziki sauce. So pretty sure I only got taziki. Do not order for a to go order. And if this is how they represent themselves through to go I would not be willing to go In person to give them my money read more

This place was listed as one of the best of Yakima It was anything but when it came to the food. While the lentil soup was delicious, the shawarma dinner was a total disappointment. The food was too salty, the chicken shawarma serving was greatly underwhelming and the tzatziki had no flavor. The plate itself was smaller than what you expect for a dinner plate. My second time here. We had to come back after stopping here for a night. I had the Gyro and Greek Salad. The DW had the Shawarma Plate. Both were excellent. The DW was really impressed with the flavor and softness of the underlying rice. The Baba Ghanoush the best we had experienced. Plus it was such a generous serving we ordered extra Pita Bread (also excellent) to dredge it all up (licking the bowl in public was not permitted by the DW). read more

The interior is not particularly private, but it is super clean. The service here is lovely and the food is really good. The people are always so nice to me, making sure I have everything I need and being really fast and accommodating. Probably my favorite place in town. We stopped at Zullee in Yakima on a road trip from Portland to the Gorge. The food is incredible. The staff are so so nice and attentive! The restaurant is very clean and well kept. If you want a gyro sandwich in Yakima, Zullee has the best. The restaurant itself is tucked away in a corner of the plaza so not easily viewed from Nob Hill. The inside is very bare bones, but the service is good. Their business is in large part takeout and delivery, which is our preference since it's not a place for a nice dinner out. The gyro sandwich is our go-to menu item. It's full of meat, red onion, tomato and very flavorful sauce. There are options for a side dish that accompany the sandwich. My preference is the regular fries that are crispy and seasoned very well. A must-have is a piece of baklava for dessert. You'll be plenty full after the meal, but get a piece for later in the evening and you'll be glad you did. read more

I've eaten here twice in the last month. Ordered a sandwich style meal both times. The manager gave us free samples of all the hummus they make just because I asked a question about it. That was really nice. Unfortunately, the veggies in my sandwich were very wilted and didn't taste fresh. I think it was a little better the second time. Just checking out local restaurants and this one caught my eye as I was driving by. Walk in and sit down or order at the counter. Menu has kebabs, sandwiches, and plates with chicken, beef, shrimp , or lamb. I went for the Gyro sandwich with a side of Greek salad. Gyro was seasoned perfectly and the tzatziki was delicious!! I would have preferred no shredded lettuce and more onions on my sandwich, but that's a preference. My sandwich came with extra tzatziki for dipping. The side of Greek salad complimented it with a light dressing, fresh cucumber, tomato, kalamata olives, bell pepper and onion all sprinkled with feta cheese. Do not order using their website. I placed an order through their website (which uses Uber) and they gave my order to the wrong person. Uber sent me a message from the driver who was confused that they could not pick up the order. I, of course, did not receive my food and contacted the restaurant who had given my order to the wrong person. They told me to contact Uber but because I did not order directly from Uber, I could not use Uber's support option which requires you to select a previous order from a dropdown. The restaurant accepted no responsibility for this, now I need to dispute a charge on my credit card, and no one got food. Ultimately a terrible experience. read more

During lunch and dinner hour it can be a little slow getting your food but they try their best to get it out to you as fast as possible. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars as the food was excellent. I travel a lot for work all over the west coast and end up patronizing a Mediterranean style restaurant almost everywhere I visit. This food stood out to me. I had the falafel cake plate and lentil soup. The falafel cakes were unique and in my opinion,b than traditional falafel. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The salad is an actual authentic Greek salad with diced cucumber, tomato, red onion, green peppers and olives tossed in feta, Olive oil and lemon juice which was a refreshing change from most places. The lentil soup was good and I liked that it had vegetables and potatoes in it. Unfortunately, something detracted from my experience. This establishment champions 99 cent lentil soup with an entree. When I ordered, I asked exactly for that and was asked if I would like some pita for the soup. I said sure, assuming it was complimentary based upon how I was asked and not told of any extra cost. When I received the bill I noticed I was charged $3. I brought this to the servers attention and she told me it was because I got the pita. I told her she should have told me, but instead of arguing over $2 I just paid the bill. I really wish the server would have acknowledged or remedied the mistake. UPDATE: Management responded to this review within an hour of posting it and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. read more
