I ordered to go, but it was my first time eating from here and it's honestly really good, solid summer rolls and such a great portion of the pad Thai, my favorite is the peanut sauce, would definitely buy again.

Blown away by the quality of Thai food I was able to get in middle of nowhere Washington. Get the Pad Thai and the Summer Rolls and don't look back. Thank me later!

Yakima Thai Cuisine is possibly THE BEST THAI food I've had anywhere. Thai is a top 3 go-to for me - had it in Hong Kong, Vancouver, London, SF, NYC, and where I've lived for many years - LA and Seattle. They should rename this place Pure Joy Thai because that's what it's like to eat this food. I can't comprehend why a restaurant of this caliber is in Yakima, and why it doesn't have a line out the door. (Sure, it's across from the jail and next to a Bail Bonds, but hey there's easy parking. But it's totally fine.) All the dishes were better than the next - veggie spring rolls, fried tofu, Thai iced tea, yellow curry, vegan pad see ew, sweet and sour stir fry w/ tofu, cashew nut w/ chicken. Our party had meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans, and picky kids who ordered seconds. The ingredients are super fresh, the presentation is outstanding, and the flavors are explosive. Oh, they can make almost any dish vegan. And the spice level is accurate. I would go for a 4 next time but 3 was delicious. The service is very good, it's a super cute place, they play jazz, and the food came out fast as hell. Oh, and when we sat down they immediately brought two carafes of water and a cup with a lid and straw for our little one. The menu used larger fonts with high contrast so it's easy for anyone to read. Big big points for that. I would guess that 20 to-go orders came through while we were there. But damn, you miss out on the presentation. Don't sleep on this gem.

Pad kee mao with tofu (made vegan)

Top-notch, fairly authentic Thai food with lots of vegan options and actual Thai spiciness options available. I stopped in for dinner on my own and ordered the pad kee mao ($16.95) with soft tofu (fried tofu is also an option), ordered it vegan, and 5/5 spiciness, hoping that they'd deliver on the spiciness. Oh boy did they ever. The food came out in about 10 minutes and was amply portioned, coming with lots of veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, carrot, onions, tomato), plenty of soft tofu, and traditional very wide rice noodles. The spiciness was wonderfully intense -- this would be too much for most, but I was happy with it. Flavour-wise, the sweet chili soy sauce was beautifully done, coating everything adequately and being balanced. I couldn't have been happier with the food here. Highly recommended, especially if you're looking for vegan options in Yakima. EDIT: It was so good, I had to come back the next night with my friend, and we split 3 different dishes: red curry with soft tofu, sriracha noodles with fried tofu, and mixed vegetable stirfry with soft tofu. All 3 dishes were excellent, just as great as the previous night. The flavours were all perfectly balanced, packing a good spiciness, and with nice depth.

I ordered broccoli stir frys w tofu for takeout, not only the portion is really sad, the sturfry was hella salty !!! I think I just got hypertension by eating them! I'm very disappointed honestly. The tofu was not freshly fried, i can tell it's already pre fried and sitting on the counter because the skin is too chewy and the tofu inside is cold. Broccoli was not fresh because it was also chewy, it doesnt have that crunch that fresh veggies have. Overall very disappointed. Overpriced for the quality and the portion honestly...

Wow! I'm really impressed with the flavors we enjoyed here! I've eaten at many Thai places and this is a definite standout. The pad kee mao with shrimp was excellent and perfectly cooked shrimp were amazing. The Tom Kha soup was also perfectly coconutty and spiced to perfection. The biggest standout was the kao soy.. this dish is a hard to find one from northern Thailand so it's not typically available. I look forward to another visit!

Cute, clean, and most importantly.... Delicious!!! Finally an authentic Thai restaurant in Yakima. Staff was very nice and attentive. Inside the atmosphere is very comfortable with Thai decorations giving it a casual, cafe feel. I will be back ASAP!!!

Way expensive for simple thai food but that May be due to post COVID cost. Food was pretty good but three of us paid 75$ for three meals and an appetizer. No drinks. Nothing special sadly.

The dishes are extra generous with about 2 servings worth of food each. For a starter, we had the crab rangoon which came with more pieces than we were expecting. The crab flavor was more pronounced than the cream cheese- which we found delicious. I thought all rangoon were basically from the same supplier, but these were richer than any we had before. I ordered a blue Thai iced tea. I think I was expecting blue raspberry Italian soda flavor, which this was definitely not. It had an earthy, unique flavor that is closer to an ube. They mentioned it was made from butterfly peas. Pad Thai came with plenty of large prawns and was full of tangy tamarind flavor. Three stars was the perfect balance of heat for me. It reminded me of the very first Pad Thai I had back in 1999 at a restaurant in Seattle that no longer exists. It immediately made me feel nostalgia for that era. Tom Kha soup is pure comfort food with a hearty coconut milk base and plenty of carrots, onions, broccoli, green beans, tomato and mushrooms. They bring you a large portion of rice to accompany the dish which I always like to mix in with my soup. This was my girlfriend's favorite dish here. The mango sticky rice had hot, sticky rice, sliced mangos and sweet cream drizzled all over the top. The mango was fresh and firm. This was a nice balance of flavors without overt sweetness drowning anything out. The service was excellent with the staff anticipating our refill needs and checking on us often. The ambience for dining was simple and understated. They call their fare "Thai street food" and the decor matches that to a T. Not fancy, but quaint and perfect for a fun date. Overall, we are very happy that we found this place and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good Thai cuisine.

Looks like it might accommodate 25 diners. Take out appears to be bustling. The Pad Thai was on point. The best I have had in Yakima and I'm pretty sure I've sampled all this town has to offer. The portion was generous and easily will provide 3 more meals beyond today's lunch. The tableware is solid and comfortable to use. (I do not like thin stamped out metal forks, I'd rather use plastic) The hostess/server was a delight. She was attentive, had a knack for timing when checking in with us. She was kind and friendly. When we took our leave, the hostess and cook expressed genuine appreciation of our business and I got a good look at the kitchen; also clean and tidy. My friend and I agreed that this is a restaurant that deserves to be well supported so we don't lose it.

When we arrived, the seating area is full, but we were still greeted warmly. We ordered our meal to go but we were still offered a place to sit in glasses of water while we waited. We both ordered pho. I got the combination pho with everything and my wife ordered the beef pho. She also ordered some pork bao buns, and I ordered soup dumplings. They packaged the pho very well, with the broth, vegetables and meat, and one container and the noodles, some of the extra meat, lines, cilantro, basil, etc. In another container, the servings were huge. We had plenty for another meal the next day. The pho broth was excellent. We did have to heat it up again when we added the noodles and extras, but it was well worth it. The soup dumplings were flavorful and warm and the bao buns had a mild but rich pork filling. This was a real treat while we were on the road.

One of us would have said slightly better than average casual Chinese food. The other one of us thinks this is some of the best Chinese food in a long time. The service was good. Everyone was friendly and helpful. No disagreements there. The atmosphere - one of us found it at the lower end of casual Asian dining. The other one of us just didn't care. The value. One of us found it very overpriced. The other one didn't care and pointed to how expensive every restaurant is now, while the first one of us wanted to point out that this is priced for a much nicer dining experience (eg, atmosphere, presentation, and even the fairly tasty meal just don't support the pricing). Portions, at least on entrees (we didn't try the appetizers), are pretty good, so that helps. Also, one of us would point out that it's often described as "dim sum," but a handful of pricey appetizers is not what is expected as a "dim sum" experience. By this logic, every restaurant (or at least every Chinese restaurant) could market itself as "dim sum" if it has appetizers, which they all do. That isn't what I expect of dim sum. So, there you have it - we're split. We will return to try the appetizers (aka "dim sum"), but it won't be cheap. It seems very popular and I wish them success, with a few improvements.
