I placed an online order, after reviewing my order summary I noticed I ordered the wrong size. I immediately contacted the store. Mike one of the store's owners, provided excellent customer service by not just fixing my error but taking the time to talk to me about his store's collection. When I mentioned my goal of shopping small, he also shared that his store is involved in community service. Yes, I agree with some of the Yelpers that the foot traffic has diminished a little bit. That also depends what day and time of the week you go there. However, I've noticed that on some of my shoes, the materials do not last. The (fake?) rubber soles crumble or develop deep cracks. The (fake) leather finish on my ankle boots peels off. These shoes are not worn frequently and they're stored carefully. No other brand I buy has ever had this problem. I spoke to Thaakirah J at customer service. She provided bad service, going out of her way to offer nothing in the way of a discount or credit. I asked to speak to a supervisor, I provided photos. She refused to help. I have concluded that Clarks shoes don't actually wear out through normal wear, they simply disintegrate due to inferior materials. If this is how they treat loyal customers, I am done, done, done.
