To our surprise, Old Towne Ice Cream in Rowley on Route 1 answered the phone and let us know they were open. What I love so much about this place is the variety of exotic homemade ice cream flavors they make. I love all the local favorites like Richardson's and Hodgie's, but Old Towne offers flavors you just don't find everywhere else. With my love for global cuisine and unique flavors, this place always hits the mark. On this visit, Cheryl and I tried a couple of their specialty flavors, and boy, they did not disappoint. The flavors were fresh, distinctive, and danced on the palate. If you love ice cream and want to try something a little different, take yourself over to Old Towne Ice Cream in Rowley and enjoy a sweet treat you'll be talking about long after the visit.
