Great All You Can East Sushi Spot! I find the price of the all you can eat to be extremely reasonable and you will definitely get your moneys worth! Lots of options on the all you can eat menu - plenty of apps, raw fish, hand rolls, signature rolls, hibachi, and ramen!!! All the fish was fresh and the food was served quickly. Service was quick even through the busy rush of dinner service. There is no reservations for small parties so be sure to get there early because you may have a decent wait time. I will definitely be dining here again!

This is not a serve yourself buffet. A server comes to the table to place your order and I recommend ordering a few items at a time. I really liked the wide selection on the menu and I didn't expect for the fish quality to be that great but I was pleasantly surprised. Nothing tasted old or fishy. The rolls were normal sized rolls with balanced ratios of rice and fillings. My favorite was the tsukiyo roll. The kitchen appetizers are small and comes with 2 pieces per order which was great because we got to try multiple different items. You get a bang for your buck, come check it out!

First off it was a little hard to find a parking spot but that is good for them they were very busy and mind you the parking lot is pretty small, try to make reservations or go during a less busy time to get a overall great experience. We waited at the sushi bar while waiting to be seated we noticed the chefs at work making sushi and other delicious foods. I wish we could of saw them better making the sushi's, maybe if they had the display of fish on the side and had the table higher so we can see them freshly making the sushi which could be cool aspect to add to the bar. But overall a nice welcoming environment decently loud because it was busy but it was cool to see the chefs busy making the food at the bar. Service: Very quick and kind service we did the all you can eat and we started our 90 minute all you can eat journey at 4:30ish. It was amazing honestly how fast they were at first they slowly got more crowded so they slowed down over time I believe but overall such quick service. Food: all right so let's get to the nitty-gritty the food itself. I saved every delicious bite of those spicy tuna rolls and I really like the crunchy ones too some things that really stood out to me on the menu where the green tea ice cream it was very delicious and unique and nice traditional Japanese flavor. I also thought that there was a cool variety and item such as the spider tempura as well as the eel I also tried the Oreo dessert was really good and the banana which was OK. It was very interesting though. but the thing that I liked, the most was my favorite the spicy chicken rolls and that's really probably gonna be the best things that you get there which are the Sushi's. This place was phenomenal. I think it was well worth the 30 bucks for unlimited food and I really thought that they were really fast and generous with their portions. I almost forgot the miso soup which is delicious. We had multiples of them. recommend this 10 out of 10 honestly I don't have much complaints. They're new one up-and-coming but they're only gonna get better. Definitely go here a must if you like sushi

Ordered Naruto rolls - they left the skin on the cucumber. Also, I ordered a rainbow Naruto - no crab no avocado. Instead of giving me more fish they just filled it up with chopped up cucumber strips. Other paces like Aji 53 will put a white fish in there. They cheaped out. Check my photo.

Saw this on a reel from the Grubfather. Soon as we realized it's a local spot we had to come check it out. Great service very attentive and friendly staff. The menu has everything you would want and more. The food was delicious and fresh. Comfortable vibe overall really great place will definitely be back! It's worth the visit you won't be disappointed.

Best decision we've made in a while. This place is as amazing as ever. I wish I didn't live so far away bc I would come here weekly. This team deserves all the hype and praise. Exceptionally fresh food, stellar service, and the most fair prices without having to travel to middle America. Most Japanese restaurants feel like copy and pastes. Tomo is 2 std deviations above any local spot. See for yourself. Take good care of them.

We recently ordered takeout from Tomo Sushi and tried a variety of dishes. Here's what we ordered:…read more * Miso soup * Salad with ginger dressing * Two orders of gyoza * **Salmon Lover** (5 pcs sushi, 5 pcs sashimi, 1 salmon roll -- I added avocado to the roll) * **Wild Salmon Roll** (crunchy spicy salmon roll topped with three types of tobiko) * Shrimp & steak hibachi with fried rice * Chicken katsu (breaded and fried cutlet with tangy dipping sauce) * Udon noodles * Plus, they included a complimentary hot sushi roll **The highlights:** All of the sushi we ordered was *excellent* -- incredibly fresh, flavorful, and honestly some of the best I've had in a while. I would 100% order the sushi again. I was also told the hibachi and chicken katsu were delicious. **What could be improved:** The fried rice and the udon noodles were the only real letdowns; both needed more sauce or seasoning. Also, when ordering hibachi for takeout, my sister asked for the traditional hibachi sauces but was told they don't provide them. That felt a bit strange since those sauces are typically a standard part of a hibachi meal. The complimentary roll was a kind gesture, but it ended up being something no one wanted, so unfortunately it went to waste. It would be great if they offered a small choice of free items, or perhaps comped one of the appetizers already ordered, just to avoid unnecessary waste. Since this was takeout, I can't comment on service or the dine-in experience. **Price:** For the amount of food we ordered, the total was around $108 -- extremely reasonable. **Overall:** I would definitely recommend Tomo Sushi, especially for their outstanding sushi. With a few tweaks, they could easily become a 5/5 spot. *Note: Not pet-friendly, as there is no outdoor seating.*

Our waiter Josue was extremely attentive The ambiance in the restaurant is lovely - many people were celebrating special occasions and it's understandable as it is beautiful both inside and out. We decided to go with the $69 diner special in order to try a variety of the menu. Our meal consisted of the garlic shrimp skillet, Mt. Fuji roll, petite filet mignon, marinated skirt steak, Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The shrimp skillet was a major hit- he ate every last bit of it. My sushi was super fresh and flavorful. My only complaint was that they put tobiko on top of the roll. It wasn't listed in the ingredients and there was so much, it was not easy to remove. But that is literally my only complaint of the entire meal. Our steaks were so tender and flavorful, plus cooked perfectly. Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were the perfect side dishes - creamy and ultra flavorful. The Insignia donut and chocolate mousse cake were brought out with a sparkler for excellent presentation. It definitely made the special occasion a bit more special. Our meal and experience at Insignia was nearly flawless. Would highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit!

They offer a variety of exceptional seafood & sushi dishes, none of which you can go wrong with along with great drink selections. I recently stopped by here for dinner with my boyfriend. I noticed that they incorporated a prix fixe menu so I took advantage of that. I ordered the wedge salad appetizer, everything crusted tuna with sides of spinach & wasabi mashed potatoes. And for dessert I chose the fudge layer cake. The tuna was perfectly cooked and the mashed potatoes had just the right amount of wasabi to give it flavor, but not so much that it was spicy. My only criticism would be that the service was a bit on the slow side. It took some time for my drink to arrive and had some difficulty getting waiter's attention for a simple water refill. Although I ate here on a weekday night, it seemed a lot less busy than I remember it. Hopefully that's just because it was a slow week.

But like other reviews mentioned, the food and ambiance are lackluster. The sushi here is very plain and not worth it. For the price point and having thought this restaurant was known for their seafood, I was underwhelmed. I had two sushi dishes and both were misses. My partner got the chimichurri filet tips, which he said were inconsistently seasoned and bland. The potatoes were good, though, and it's unfortunate that this had the most flavor overall. I was surprised that the decor on the inside felt a bit outdated and I couldn't hear anyone at my table because of the noise here. For the price point, everything didn't seem to add up. I don't think I'll ever go here again--it's difficult to reconcile the price point with the quality of the food and setting.
