Soy sauce in their own cups and a decent amount thereof. Ginger separate. Wasabi separate. Honestly I have yet to see a sushi takeout that place that does things so intelligently. Very impressed. My first time visiting Kashi in Huntington. The space is lovely, parking is super difficult on a Saturday night so make sure to leave ample time to find a space, even the free municipal lot never has spaces. For appetizer, my hubby got oysters which he enjoyed, I got the ribs- they had good flavor but were a little tough to my liking. I got an adult capri sun rum punch drink, it was good- very sweet. We both had sushi rolls, all were great, service was also on point- they really try to move tables fast. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and it's very proximate to the Paramount, so if we were in that area and wanted sushi, we would definitely return! read more

The restaurant is so beautiful and clean, the Service is amazing they really go above and beyond to make sure that you are having a pleasurable experience. The short rib is so tender and flavorful, the Petite Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly, The Steak Hibachi is also so flavorful and cooked to perfection. The Edamame and Gyoza were delicious as-well. The first thing that struck me when we entered was the beautiful, inviting space. I've heard about this place and even visited their Bellmore location, years ago. This location is much more aesthetically pleasing. Neon blue lights that set a mood without being loud or tacky. Individual small lights to make sure you can see the menus. Andy our server was pleasant and attentive. His digital name tag was so cool! Never seen one before. All our food was delicious and fresh! From the Kashi Duck, Warm Mushroom Salad and Miso soup appetizers to our sushi roll (s) entrees. Plum wine, Sake and ice cream tempura rounded out our meals. Such a pleasant and enjoyable evening. Kashi is a great time. From start to finish all of the employees were helpful, patient, and on the ball. The food? Delicious. The sushi at Kashi was some of the best sushi I have had in a while. While the price point I would say is around market for special rolls, these rolls were definitely worth it. The environment was a bit nosy with music and other parties but not too overwhelming. My nephew frequents this place and I finally had the chance to try this place out and boy was he right! Staff was great as was the ambience. Their lychee martini is soooo good one of the best I've ever had! I highly recommend! The shrimp tempura was okay but I wouldn't order it again. My nephew had the hibachi chicken and shrimp which looked delicious and he said it's one of his fav meals from here. I had their surf and turf and wow so delicious!! Here are my faves : Duck wrap (amazing) , short ribs (amazing) ,kashi roasted duck (perfectly cooked and flavored), rock shrimp tempura ,shishito pepper,ginger salad (it's the ginger for me),crabmeat avocado salad. For the rolls my favorites were : Sawa Kani,Yaki Toro,Angry Dragon roll(I order this everywhere lol), American Dream roll (cause were all Trying to live it )& the Cracked Lobster roll. Came here last night to catch up with a friend. It was packed but we got seated immediately which was awesome for a Friday evening in Huntington village. We ordered drinks, my friend had a corona and I had a lychee martini which was off the charts good! Then we ordered 5 rolls to split and the food came super fast. Each roll was super fresh and tasty, we both loved every single bite. I always go to the Syosset location as it is closer to my house but I found that Huntington is a little better than Syosset (both are really good, but for some reason the fish was EXTRA fresh last night!). If you're a sushi lover this is the place for you! And make sure you sign up for their rewards program as the more you dine/ take out, the more points you get which gives you money off future orders. From a GMs point of view, we'll staffed, 7 sushi chefs at sushi bar, everyone was friendly and attentive, from hostesses to runners to busier all with walkie talkies and ear pieces so everyone was on the same page. Managers running around helping and smiling the whole time. Music was loud, setting was dark, that makes it a happening place, but I'm old! Everything was perfect. 3 apps, a sashimi platter, two specialty rolls and dessert came out to $128 plus a well deserved 20% tip came out to $153 out the door for a 3 top. As soon as we left they called us to tell us they had a pair of glasses we left on the seat. C'mon! Who does that anymore! Love the care the staff genuinely showed! As a vegetarian I'm probably not Kashi's target customer base, but regardless I love eating here. I'm always happy to have a cucumber avocado roll and gyoza.
