It's flavorful without just being spicy for the sake of being spicy. I also heard the breading is gluten-free, which is a really nice bonus. I also got the hibiscus drink, and this was probably one of my favorite parts. It's tart, floral, refreshing, and has mint in it, so you get this really nice cooling finish. The hibiscus gives it that bright fruity-floral flavor while the mint keeps it from feeling too heavy or sweet. Perfect drink alongside the wings. And then the rose pudding. I LOVE this. I'm guessing there's rose water in it because it has that gentle floral aroma and flavor without tasting like you're eating perfume. It's creamy, smooth, lightly sweet, and the rose flavor comes through in a really delicate way. Honestly, I could eat a whole bowl of this. The space is small, but there's enough room for a couple of smaller groups to sit and hang out. What really makes this place special, though, is the people. It's a family business and you can feel that immediately. Everyone was so friendly, generous, and personable, even with the huge Dollar Stroll crowd. I really love this place. The food is good, the people are wonderful, and I like supporting a family business that clearly puts a lot of care into what they're doing. Definitely coming back soon.

Looks like they use teff flour for their batter (it does have dairy, though, for those who can't have it). Not that sports stadium chicken fingers are the best kind, but the ones here definitely beat those. Admittedly, I don't often get chicken tenders, but I would get them again here. Some of my friends got the chicken sandwich, which looked to be essentially my meal but with a bun, and another got a falafel wrap, which also looked good. I would try either that or a chicken shawarma wrap in the future. You order at the counter, but if seated, they bring the food to you, which is nice. Not a huge amount of room inside, less than Alif, but enough for a few tables, and just about what I've come to expect in West Philly. Good spot for a relatively quick lunch, and some great gluten-free options to boot.

Genuinely one of the best pizza shops in the city! The service is always so friendly. The hand made interior is so warm and tasteful. The fish tacos are practically an emotional experience and anything with the word Zuzu's in front of it is just off the hook. My wife and I feel a void in our life if we don't order from here at least once a week. I live very close by and have eaten at Zuzu's kitchen several times already. I would recommend everything I have tried on the menu. I highly recommend the zuzu chicken sandwich, seafood sub, and chicken avocado burger. The owner and other staff are great and very friendly. Whether I'm using Grubhub or Uber Eats, I love ordering online because it's so convenient. I also want to praise my delivery driver for communicating well, arriving on time, and meeting me right in front of the hotel. As for the Corazón de Cheese Pizza, I must say that seeing the heart-shaped crust brought a huge smile to my face, along with the pineapple toppings. It took me a few minutes to grab my first slice because I was so busy admiring its look and taking pictures to share on Yelp and with friends via text. During my first bite, I said to myself, "This is good!" In between each slice, I had the biggest smile, and I honestly believe my skin had a glow to it. Yes, it was very satisfying!
