Used to reside in the Francisville neighborhood and Zuzu's Kitchen was the walkable spot to grab quick and tasty food! I had a taste for their food and decided to stop by and place an order. Parking is a bit insane in the area, and it was a late evening during the weekday. One of the guys from some years ago still works there and pleasantly took my order. Brought back memories on how enjoyable their food tasted. I ordered my go-to, which was their delicious Zuzu's chicken cheese fries that come with the special sauces and jalapeños ! Mmmm! I also ordered their shrimp tacos with the boom boom sauce! Everything tasted as flavorful as I remembered!

Came back and this time ordered the special zuzu's salad, Greek salad and zuzu's chicken sandwich. The zuzu's salad was so good and refreshing! Loved the artichokes and all of the toppings inside. I would highly recommend this. Greek salad was just okay I would skip out on this next time. Maybe if I added chicken it would have been better. The chicken sandwich was SO flavorful and spicy! The sandwich is on a hoagie roll and is very big and filling. Great prices and great service again!

Zuzu chicken sandwich & fries are an excellent combination. Ordered takeout and was ready in 15 min from ordering. Fast, fresh and tasty.

Great local spot for takeout! We really loved the calzone...could feed a whole family it's so huge! The egg rolls were great and came with a cheesy dipping sauce. Chicken shawarma wrap was also so good, would not have thought pickles would add such a nice touch! Easy to call ahead and order, took about 25 minutes to prepare for pickup. Will definitely be back!

Just wanted something quick for takeout in the Fairmount area and came across this place on UberEats. My order was pretty simple, so I wasn't expecting anything super amazing flavor wise. The pizza was average and reminded me of an elevated Chuck E. Cheese pizza. This isn't a super bad thing, but I guess I should try one with toppings to get a true sense of the quality. The fries were hot and didn't get soggy or lose their crispiness during the delivery which typically happens. My order was prepared and delivered promptly, so that's always a plus. Price was standard for a pizza place.

Probably the most hit or miss place you could order from. We've maybe ordered from here 25 times since moving in a year ago? The Chicken Boom Boom Pizza (chicken strips, boom boom sauce, ranch, parsley) has been our go-to, and we've turned a couple friends onto it. It's maybe the best tasting pie you could have. Sometimes, though, it'll have no substance in the middle of the pie and a slice tastes like cardboard for the first couple bites. Today the pizza came without the sauce it's supposed to come with. Had to sauce it up myself. Sometimes it's cold by the time we pick it up (on the timeline they gave us). We've had other things that are good: Buffalo chicken calzone, onion rings, milkshakes. Some stuff not so good: their bone-in chicken wings, some of their other pizzas (steak boom boom was pretty weird). Service is spotty. Couple times had to wait a while past their estimation to get our food. When we order milkshakes, they usually don't start them up till we get to the restaurant. It's cheap, and usually it's pretty quick, and most of the time it tastes good. I don't want to stop ordering from there. But I'd say one out of three times though something goes wrong.

Buffalo Style Wings.... ??? There is no meat on the bone.
    Eunice P.

TINY "wings" drowned in Buffalo sauce. There was no meat on the bone! Just bits of overcooked skin. The mozzarella was also burnt, overcooked, and hollow. No cheese inside the cheese sticks. Lol. My boyfriend and I loved Zuzus but they are getting sloppy and lazy with the orders. Truly disappointing.

Pita bread - ratio to amount of hummus given is a little off. Tasteless hummus. Waste of money..

Mediocre at best. I've lived in Fairmount for approximately 3 years now and it's a hit or miss spot. Prices are fair so I will give 2 stars, but don't order and expect much. My last visit consisted of an order of hummus and two sandwiches to share with a friend. The hummus tasted store bought. It lacked substance, flavor and sadly salt. I had to doctor it up to salvage my 6.00 container. They offer pita with it - it's warm which is nice but it tastes store bought. The ratio of pita to hummus is disappointing. - would not recommend wasting your money. I asked for an ingredient swap on one of my sandwiches and that was completely disregarded - despite me waiting around patiently for my order to be completed. I can live without this place in the future. Can't say I'd recommend the place, but if you're local and in need of food in a pinch, it will possibly do.

    "Lamb" Kefta wrap

Not sure what's going on these days, but I've been getting super unlucky with food orders from my usual favorites, most recently this one. My 10-piece buffalo wings looked extremely sad. First of all, they looked and tasted old (as if reused from someone else's order), but they were also tiny and chewy, as if they came from unhappy scrawny underfed teenage chickens. I almost felt bad eating them, but was mostly annoyed that I did not get my money's worth ($8.50+). The greek salad was the same size as usual, but the level of freshness wasn't. The tomato and lettuce pieces had brown spots all over them. I also ordered a cheeseburger, and found that although the quality was roughly the same as usual, the beef patties were super greasy and the "cheddar" that came with it was more like waxy orange American cheese than cheddar. The lamb kefta wrap was probably the highlight of the lot, but it was a bit small and also super oily. It was hard to tell whether the filling was beef or lamb. For $5.99, it's not super expensive, but it's also not super substantial, with only ground meat, a few strands of red onions, and some parsley. The weirdest thing about this order wasn't even the food, though. The delivery guy parked outside of my building and called me, saying I needed to go outside to the car and get it from him. In the past, Zuzu's Kitchen has typically delivered to my apartment, which is why I've always included a generous tip on top of the existing delivery fee. But the delivery guy this time even made a fuss about dropping off my food at the security desk in my building, and the whole point of me ordering delivery was because I was experiencing some leg muscle aches, making going outside a bit tough for me. Needless to say, there are too many good places for food in the city to pay extra fees to get greasy food of declining quality not get delivered to one's home. It's sad because I used to really like this place.

Probably order something different next time just to try more of the menu, but I'm getting that ricotta again no matter what.

While I might choose another place for takeout, when the goal is a night of pizza, wine, great atmosphere, and authentic neighborhood vibes, this is usually where we end up. The space is bright, industrial, airy, and thoughtfully designed but unforced. White walls, warm wood, considered lighting, and a floor plan with real breathing room. The vibe recalls Bucktown, Wicker Park, Williamsburg, and Greenpoint: design-forward but genuinely local. There's a great bar, and booths near the kitchen with glass windows that let you watch the staff. Our three-year-old was mesmerized, and the staff was warm and playful, smiling and waving while they cooked. A small detail, but memorable. The crowd feels local. Good music, friendly people, hip but never pretentious. It's just a fun place to be with great service, too. The food is outstanding. We usually order the chicories caesar with grana padano and breadcrumbs, and the lettuce salad with shaved vegetables and creamy oregano dressing. For pizza, we love the arrabbiata (the Angry pie) and tomato pie with sausage and pickled chilies. My wife enjoys the ice cream. A note on bringing kids: I don't think this is a family restaurant, but if your kids are curious and well-behaved, it's absolutely worth bringing them earlier in the evening. We've gone around 4:30 or 5:00 on weekends and always felt comfortable. One time, our daughter had a full meltdown, and we were mortified, but the staff couldn't have been cooler. They packed everything to go, kindly and without any judgment. That kind of grace is hard to fake, and it genuinely stuck with us. Pricing is fair for the quality of the food and the experience. Places like this can seem overrated or overpriced, but this one doesn't. It offers real value for a memorable night out. The whole restaurant feels like a microcosm of Philadelphia's progressive, creative side. There's real ambition behind it, but it still feels human and grounded, nothing sterile, nothing corporate, nothing over-engineered. Just smart people building a cool neighborhood place that others actually want to spend time in. Oh, and make a reservation. Great spot, Joe. We'll be back soon. Thank you!

The hostess took our coats (a nice touch!) and then a rotation of two servers explained the specials and we ordered. I love that the menu is on the shorter side and they rotate the pizza offerings, so even if you're visiting on a regular basis, you'll always be able to try something new. Additionally, when a menu is only about 2 pages, you know everything on those two pages is top notch, as was the case at Pizzeria Beddia. This evening we got the meatballs (didn't take a photo, was too excited, but they were HUGE and excellent) and the beef, pork and veal balls with a rich red sauce was outstanding. Came in an order of 2 but one was plenty for each of us. The Pizza we got had potatoes on it, and we added sausage per the servers recommendation, and it was cooked perfectly and all of the flavors blended so well together. We are so lucky to have an amazing (and nationally recognized!) pizza spot in the neighborhood and it's always nice when you can walk in without a reservation from time to time.

The polite smile that says "it's fine" while the eyes say "it is absolutely not." Totally understandable. No one loves a near-close order. I even acknowledged it out loud--apologized, explained we weren't from the area, and that we were just trying to grab a quick bite because it was one of the few places still open. She said it was okay. Her face said otherwise. Fair enough. Here's where it turned around. The pizza came out hot, fresh, and legitimately impressive. Not "good for late night" good--just plain good. Every bite was fresh, the ingredients tasted clean, and the pizza clearly hadn't been rushed or phoned in despite the timing. Hunger probably helped, but even factoring that out, this was a standout. Honestly, I was kicking myself for not ordering an extra one to go before leaving the city. That's how good it was. We did try to get drinks, but were told the soda machine was down. The nozzles were off, so I'm guessing it was a cleaning/end-of-night thing. I won't ding them for it--though let's be real, tossing nozzles in sanitizer isn't exactly a marathon. Still, not a deal-breaker. Restaurant was clean, but of course, they were near closing. I tipped her a few bucks for staying late, and left genuinely satisfied. Bottom line: the food carried this experience completely. If you're visiting Philadelphia and need a reliable, fresh, late-night bite, &Pizza is absolutely worth the stop. Sometimes the places you expect the least end up delivering the most. I plan to 100000% return (and it'll probably be near closing time again, too)
