The lady was super nice, but I was a bit disappointment with the actual cryoskin procedure. Others I have had, a device is rubbed against the desired area for amount 30 mins to an hour. This was more like emsculpt where they just placed the device on the problem spot and let the machine do its thing. This was not ideal for me and I did not see or feel much results after a session. Normally I feel a significant difference instantly after a session, but this one was a bit of a let down. For those who have read my previous reviews related to emsculpt, coolsculpt, and cryoskin, I have noted that the number of sessions needed differs for everyone. Some folks may need more sessions, some may be fine after one or two. It all depends on body type and how much weight one wants to lose. Also, this is not a fix or solution for instant weight loss. It is ideal for those trying to get rid of the stubborn fat that just won't let go for the life of it. For exponential results, diet and exercise need to be incorporated with these sessions. There is so much sessions like these can do without making a few life adjustments. I am by no means an expert so call the facility before purchasing from Groupon to see if it is a good fit for you.

The space itself is beautiful, but what truly sets this studio apart is the exceptional staff and nurse practitioner, Michelle. I have had treatments at various plastic surgery offices in the past, but FABRX is now at the top of my list. Michelle makes sure the treatments are as comfortable as possible and works around the clients needs and pain threshold... which worked really well for me. I particularly recommend the Morpheus8 treatment. After just one of my three sessions, I noticed a significant improvement in the texture of my skin. I met Jenna...a hostess with the MOSTess, who kindly introduced me to the ZZ Spa membership. No sup per that I could gather, a new recipient of the someone came by expressing how great his face felt; he was here joining his Sister, a 3-year member, on her celebratory Birthday spa special. Wow, I was happily inspired to become a member myself! No big sell, just well needed TLC after such a hectic day. But my W-O-W moment came when a chorus of "Happy Birthday" rounded the corner accompanied with cupcakes and a second glass of "Enjoy yourself"! Although it did end a little early. Afterwards the masseuse offered me a glass of champagne. She told me they would give it to me when I went to sit down. When I got dressed and walked out (they don't have changing room so you do have to get dressed in the room you're getting the massage in) I walked into a lobby and their relaxation room was completely dark. My friend did not come out yet and I asked if I could sit. They directed me instead to a chair next to the manicure chair. I wasn't even offered water... We weren't given champagne and we weren't given a chance to relax after our treatment. I've gotten a ton of massages at very high-end spas and cheap places as well, and I have never not been given water. However, this masseuse offered me champagne, & I was then given nothing. As my friend came out, I noticed that all of the other workers were standing around with their coats on ready to leave. We didn't book the last appointment of the day, but I guess they didn't have any other appointments after us so we had to cut our visit short & just leave? One of the things that drew me to this place was their cute relaxation room & I thought it would be nice since we were celebrating a special occasion to enjoy a glass of champagne together in it. Their second location is a lot smaller. But we were welcomed into the relaxation room... It isn't quite as nice, but at least we weren't kicked out onto the street! Now let's talk about the services... again I came with a friend and again we both got massages. However, my friend had a different experience than I did. She got a much more professional European style massage where the masseuse asked her about trouble spots, asked her if her pressure was good & made sure she was comfortable the whole time. I on the other hand, got a much less professional experience. The room was so hot. It felt like a sauna. Now granted you do want it to be warm & comfortable, but this was a little too hot, especially when they put all the blankets and everything over you. Moreover The masseuse didn't ask any questions. She just went to work at maximum strength & when I said something about the pressure she was confused. Majority of the massage was done with her forearms and elbows digged into me & left me feeling really sore. The music went off halfway through the experience so I was just listening to her breathing during it. I did have to ask twice for the pressure to be slightly softer, particularly with her elbows digging into me. Overall, the massage left a lot to be desired & I even thought of ending it early as it wasn't great. But more so I felt a little disappointed to find that we had extremely different experiences. I would compare my friends experience to more of a professional higher end spa (just the practices of the massage itself... Obviously not talking about the facility) while mine was more of a quick no-frills one that you would get at a much cheaper price point. While not all together completely unpleasant the whole time, I did find myself, wondering when it would be over (not something I've ever thought during a massage before!!!) & now my shoulder is a little sore from it. I really think I now need a massage from getting my massage. Would I recommend ZZ... Not really, no. Honestly, it's a mixed bag- You don't know what you're gonna get. Out of the 4 massages from both locations... Only 1 I would consider good (according to my friend), 2 were just okay, & this last 1 was honestly bad. I wish I had a better review to share. The receptionist held the money but didn't really say anything like "do you need change?" At one point, I thought she was expecting more money. After that, I noticed the tip envelopes and would use those after each session. No confusion. I did appreciate the fact that they didn't try to sell their own laser packages. They only asked if I had any other areas that I would like lasered and I was given a list of lasering pricing options. I liked the salon; it was aesthetically pleasing to the eye. All in all, I do recommend Face Glow NYC.

Instead of answering my question, the staff repeatedly tried to sell me a six-session package. I asked the same question multiple times, but they kept avoiding it and continued pushing the package. I had already booked an appointment for the next day. However, they canceled my appointment today, claiming there was a "communication issue." When I called to understand why, they refused to discuss it and simply hung up on me. I found the customer service to be unprofessional and disrespectful. If a business chooses to cancel a confirmed appointment, the least they can do is explain the reason politely instead of refusing to communicate. Unfortunately, this experience left me with no confidence in their service
