The computer system wasn't down. They lied and closed down the business. Nice to be honest with your customers. They also would charge full price if you needed to laser one hair in an area after spending hundreds of dollars on buying full packages. I'm so happy they opened an establishment on the UES as I used to frequent their flat iron / soho location - basically anywhere where Dr. LynnMarie was. I've gotten work done here plenty of times and Dr. LynnMarie I can attribute 100% to why I always look so refreshed! She makes me feel so comfortable! This place is the kind of place where you get something done, literally could be anything, and people look at you and say "there's something different about you! You look so well rested!" Or something along those lines. Truly just a better version of yourself and no one can quite put their finger on it - that's the best part! Dr. LynnMarie always makes me look natural, and just a better version of myself and I feel lucky to have this place as a resource. I was excited to hear Ever/Body was going to open on the UES. I Previously went to the flatiron one for Botox with Dr. Lamm. I have been doing Botox for 15 years since my early 20's, so I knew how much Botox was needed. Since it was my first time with him he decided to put less Botox and if needed a retouch later. The first retouch was clearly needed as he put very little Botox in my forehead and 11 lines. For the first time ever I had to go do a THIRD retouch. I am hoping that next time he will provide the amount necessary so I have to return only once. Horrible experience got stuck 10 min late on the weekend subway which took me 30 mins to get there from downtown. esthetician basically yelled at me when I asked her why we couldn't start at 5:15pm if the service was only 45 mins & they closed at 6 pm. Instead she rushed my facial & told be I HAD to do a rushed 25 min signature hydrafacial which is 20 mins shorter than the hydrafacial boost I booked. I've been getting clear and brilliant facials at Every/Body for almost a year now and have tried all three locations in Manhattan. The UES location is the newest one and still working through some "new opening pains". The lobby area was still going through minor construction when I showed up to my appointment in June and the HVAC system was out so there was no AC. I think I booked an appointment within the first couple weeks of opening so I understand there are still some things to work through. The treatment rooms were nice and clean like all the other locations though. Now on to the facial itself - I don't think my practitioner was as experienced or as thorough as the ones I've had at the Flatiron location. She went over my face only once with the laser. I asked her to go over several hyperpigmentation spots again and she did it in a very cursory manner. The two times I've been to the flatiron location, my face was cleansed very thoroughly with alcohol after the lidocaine cream and the practitioners ran the laser over my face at least twice with extra attention paid to hyperpigmentation spots. I noticed a pretty dramatic difference after my flatiron sessions but barely anything after the UES one. I think I'll stick with going downtown from now on. read more

For years, I'd been curious about doing something to address the dark circles under my eyes and more recently my crow's feet. I told myself that when I turned 35, I'd finally take action. And that's what I did! Ever/Body was the first place I went to after reading the great reviews online and seeing that all their providers have medical credentials. The under-eye (tear trough) area is very delicate, and I wasn't trusting just anybody with my mug. I had a very detailed (free!) consultation with one of the friendly and very-informed staff members, and he specifically suggested I see Dr. Lynn Marie--and boy am I glad that he did. She made me feel very comfortable, talked through every option, every price point, and never once suggested more than what I was comfortable with. I like my expressions and the shape of my brows, so when we talked about (and eventually did) Botox, she explained how we'd be able to keep expression and avoid changing the shape of my brows by carefully choosing where to inject. When I mentioned that I didn't like my little lips, she suggested a combo of a small amount of filler and a Botox "lip-flip" to give volume and show more of the upper lip when smiling. And then, to complete the mighty trifecta, we scheduled the tear-trough dermal filler for about 2 weeks after my Botox and lip. She knew exactly what product to use, how and where to apply it, and how much to apply without going overboard--just enough for me to be thrilled with my results (that are expected to last 18-24 months!), but not so much that it screams that I had any work done. After my "mansformation" was complete, for my 35th bday, I went to Palm Springs, and let me tell you, I was LIVVVINGGG. For a first timer to Botox and dermal fillers, she made me feel more than comfortable; was straight forward about the price, process, and pain level; and delivered incredible results. Lynn Marie is down to earth, funny, and personable. She is so talented at what she loves to do, and she is always continuing to learn more by taking classes and workshops in her spare time. I had a horrible experience here and waited to review until after multiple attempts and finally getting to speak to a manager and she was so asinine and demeaning. I have gotten botox for 11 years in many cities, many places. I am not incompetent but found their website explanation vague for their botox pricing. I called to schedule and ask more questions, was immediately texted back that they were too busy to take my call, they would book me via text. My entire experience with the injector lasted 7 minutes. I had to ask twice how many units she planned to inject and she gave (in hindsight) vague answers both times with little convo about botox and moreso focused on friendly chit chat. In my opinion, their website is intentionally misleading by use of "upper face: glabella, frontalis, crows feet, other areas:" etc. To me, that reads that those areas are on the upper face as possibly one area and they have prices listed per "area" but I was never given clarity on what constitutes one area from another in my appointment or told any hardset pricing before she injected me. I was never once clarified in my appointment that, even though she said I only needed 30 units total, I would be charged for two "areas" at a price of $525 for only 30 units, since 18 units went in my glabella and 12 units went in my forehead (this is information I oddly had to insist on asking the manager for how many units went in each area in a follow up phone call as the injector didn't directly tell me before injecting "I think you need x amount of units here and x units here which will be a price of ___" that she thought I needed that amount of units in those spots and how much that would cost, very strange looking back). It was just a strangely quick experience and I went out to pay and was quickly told a price much higher than I anticipated. When I asked the receptionist how we got to that price, she was dismissive and made it seem like it was my error even though the injector did not go over pricing at all while I was in the room and it was my first time ever going there. It was all extremely strange and it was supposed to be a nice day since my mom was treating me for my birthday, it then just felt so icky and like I was scammed and made me really upset and felt taken advantage of. I understand the choice to price "per area" but not making it clear to a client how much your recommendations will cost is nothing I have ever experienced. When I pressed to talk to a manager, she stated I got two "areas" since the glabella is in their opinion separate from the forehead, and that they give "up to 44 units" for two areas which was even more confusing to use in essence a sliding scale for botox pricing. I asked how that is a fair price for me to pay $525 since I received 30 units but could have gotten 44 units for $525. She was really dismissive and began to speak slow and rudely as if I was not intelligent enough to comprehend. Overall this was just super disappointing and upsetting and as a side note, I have eerily no movement between my brows where she put 18 units (I have only ever gotten 8-10 units there the past 11 years and have never had movement after that dosage) and still movement in my forehead as she only did 12 units and I have an expressive prominent forehead and that is still moving just zero movement between my brows so I look very strange. I would not recommend anyone to go here :( read more

I went to Ever/Body for a Hydrofacial this weekend. The aesthetician who performed the service was great and the facial was very good. What took away from the $300 experience was an extremely uncomfortable chair/table. I was so uncomfortable for the 45 minute treatment that I will not return - there are far too many other choices on the upper east side with much more comfortable facilities. Additionally, when I shared this with the front desk she told me "I can't help you - these are very expensive medical chairs that cost thousands of dollars and we won't be replacing them." A facial is not a medicinal procedure #1 and guests should be comfortable during a facial. #2 - I won't be back and if you care to be comfortable for your facial, I suggest you go elsewhere. read more

I'm so excited Ever/Body opened an UES location!! I'm a huge fan of Ever/Body and have been going to the Soho and Flatiron locations for years. This new space is gorgeous, airy, and clean - it's also the biggest location which means it should be easy to book preferred appointment times! I had the Emsculpt Neo treatment today, and it was my first time getting it done. The treatment provider was very sweet and even went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable, she had lots of cool air blowing on me with a fancy dyson fan (the Emsculpt Neo treatment can get a bit warm from the radio frequency). The UES location is beautiful and stylish, I am sure a lot of time and money was invested in making it look as such. The staff was friendly and accommodating the few times I called. Most interactions are done by text or email - I feel like that's kind of hard to mess up. Since they rely mostly on automated services for things like appointment reminders, and actual booking - I wouldn't say anything is really exceptional about the administrative part. With regard to the injector (she was a nurse practitioner - remember that for later). She was nice and conversational when spoken to - otherwise she didn't say much. I did get the sense that I had to win her over - and typically I would expect a role reversal in this situation. After all, cosmetic dermatology is a competitive space. I am generally okay accepting less than perfect service for ancillary roles to my healthcare, as long as the provider is great at what they do. I will happily spend top dollar for great work, and feel satisfied doing so because I know it's going to a great cause. Doctors *should be* well compensated. This is where I go back to the fact that I let a nurse practitioner do the work. For one, nurse practitioners do not have as much experience with facial anatomy as doctors do. Doctors, especially ones who is specializing in anything related to head/neck, like some plastic surgeons, dentists and cosmetic dermatologists are definitely the best injectors. I have had many injections of Xeomin in my jaw over the last few years, all done by doctors - until I visited Everbody. All of my past procedures yielded very successful results, except the one at Everbody. I truly believe that this injector and nurse practitioners in general are not as competent in this realm. Yes, they are licensed to inject - but that doesn't mean they can do as good a job as a doctor. The injector at Everbody commented that my usual treatment of 60 units, followed by a two week break then an additional 20-40 as needed was excessive. The actual nerve of this inexperienced person to give advice she clearly knows little about! She pushed me to accept 50 units, and offered to do 10 in each side in a week or so. I think this is mostly due to her lack of real experience. This was not helpful, and my masseters never totally relaxed as they had in the past with actual doctors who dosed the correct amount. The results were completely gone within 1-2 months - clearly a sign that her technique wasn't good and not enough material was used. I mentioned before that I am willing to pay for a higher quality of care. I paid $1500 for my masseters at Everbody. Xeomin and Botox actually cost around $3.50 per unit for medical providers - I know because my best friend is a cosmetic dentist in San Francisco. $3.50 x 50 units = $175.00 in material cost. I think the average price in NY is around $1000, so I was expecting a better experience given the cost. Lesson learned. It's best to find someone AAFE certified, and ideally a doctor. There is a good reason Everbody doesn't list it's practitioners or tout their team's academic accomplishments on their website. Most likely because they are not very accomplished, and or it's a revolving door of injectors which would be embarrassing to update online with the frequency that they come and go. read more

This place has provided a flawless experience for me, and I am needy when it comes to botox. I'm EXTREMELY sensitive to it, and in multiple previous attempts before I discovered this business, I ended up looking either like a Real Housewife gone mad or the elephant man. Even with the minimum dosage offered at other businesses, I just didn't look like myself. But then I found this place, and it changed my life. Lynn listened carefully to my story and came up with a game plan to find just the right dosage and injection spots. She was truly on my team in this mission. We would try a little and then adjust. In just a few visits, she found exactly the right treatment, and I finally have my old face back, without the Shar-pei puppy forehead! The customer service is truly above and beyond what I have found anywhere else, not to mention the knowledge about how to get desired results. Lynn even offered to give me the method she developed for me in case I needed to get it done somewhere else in the future, but I can't imagine ever doing that. Aside from that, the facility is beautiful, spacious, and pristine. And the icing on the cake - it's one of the most affordable places I've come across. I'm so happy I found it! read more
