I had my daughter with me, the sun had just been in my eyes, and I missed it. When I asked whether they had a menu, the worker behind the counter just looked at me instead of pointing it out. I eventually noticed a paper menu, but it didn't seem to include the coffee drinks. There may have been another menu for specialty drinks, but getting basic guidance felt harder than it needed to be. I ordered a cortado and the house sandwich. The sandwich needed more cheese and more flavor. Hot sauce probably would have helped, but the sandwich should not depend on me fixing it. The cortado was easily the star of the visit. It was served with a small glass of mineral water, which was a classy touch, and the coffee itself was very good. Overall, this was a 3-out-of-5 experience for me. Great location, good-looking shop, excellent cortado, forgettable sandwich, and counter service that felt either checked out or purposely unhelpful. I'll probably check it out again, but I'm in no rush

A new Greektown gem!…read more Agora is the newest must visit spot in Greektown, and we're so glad we stopped in this morning. It was our first time, and we will definitely be returning. Their menu has tons of specialty and seasonal drinks! We tried the Cookie Butter Latte and the Baklava Latte, both were absolutely delicious. We also got a nice blueberry pastry. The owners greeted us warmly, and the space itself is charming. The inside features a beautiful mural and has such a welcoming, cozy vibe. It's the perfect local neighborhood spot! We're so happy to have Agora in the neighborhood and highly recommend giving this lovely new café a try!

The first thing that jumped out at me when I walked in was how reasonable the prices are. I ordered an iced coffee and paid less than $3 which I loved! There are lots of fun drink options ranging from smoothies, your typical coffee drinks, and frozen coffee drinks. I saw some other customers order food and I'll have to try that next because it looked nice and fresh. The baristas were so friendly too. There are two floors to the cafe. The second floor seemed to be the "work" floor when I was there. There were plenty of people doing work on their laptops and hanging out. I can see myself coming here to work a lot in the future :)
