I currently had purchased the Lexus Tire and wheel warranty that covers minor dents. A few days ago I had got a dent in the rear quarter panel of my Lexus of which was within the guidelines of it covered under the warranty. Safe-Guard warranty took my claim and issue the repair through Erik Jimenez, claims processor for 1800Dent Doc. Erik had me send him a few photos. After sending him a few photos and me reaching out to schedule the repair, Erik Jimenez sends me an email stating the dent would not be covered under the warranty, stated it was oversized. I replied to back to 1800Dent doc and stated it not oversized and I cane send him pic with a ruler. Shortly after send that email, Erik Jimenez called me and stated it again and then realized he was wrong about the oversized damage. Once realizing that he began stating that the dent was not accessible and cannot be repaired to call my warranty company. I then ask Erik, so ok fine so outside of the warranty are you able to fix the dent. He stated there will be no way he could fix it as fixing it would destroy the paint and there was no way to access it to fix the dent. The issue is he told the warranty company he came out and it was not repairable for who knows what reason. I did contact many other dent repair companies and all said they could fix it. However, I found a guy that came out yesterday from PUSH N PULL paintless dent repair for $250 fix the dent within a few hours. It came our perfectly and cant even tell there was a dent. I have provided photos of before and after in this posting. My advice is to stay away from this company as it seems they are extremely dishonest and/or incompetent or both. Anyways wanted to share my experience with everyone here.

First of all their customer service is substandard. Second, the price he quoted, from the picture he requested, was higher once he got here. Third, the guy was "done" and left a larger crease in my car than the original dent he came out to repair. Last, but NOT least, the guy put a dent on the chrome molding that goes around my passenger window. Of course he denied this. Worst choice to make if you want a dent removed, I got 2 new dents in the process, very dissatisfied and frustrated. Doesn't deserve any star rating but can't post this for others to steer clear unless I give 1 star. * Pretty sad, that instead of making it right, Craig has contacted Yelp 2 twice to remove my review. He has stated that I was not the actual customer. The car he DIDN'T remove the dent from, and created 2 new dents, is my car registered in my name. Nice try, if you do crappy work you should expect people to warn others.

I just want to give a big shoutout to Craig. He honestly is the best; completely overdelivered in his estimation of the project. I had two really deep dents in my Jeep Compass. They are now almost unrecognizable. So happy that I called this company! Thank you Dent Doc!

Okay, So here's the story. I called dent doc on Wednesday. The female on the phone was pleasant and somewhat informative. She said to take a picture of the dent and send it to the tech, she said he would call as soon as he got the pictures. On Thursday, after hearing nothing from their tech, I once again called their office and spoke with the female on the phone, she connected me to the tech and a conversation ensued, after some discussion about the possibility of a complete repair or if there would still be paint damage, he then quoted a price of $150. We asked if he could do it on Friday at 5:00pm. I called him today (Friday) to confirm, he agreed to be there at 5:00pm, he showed up at 5:18pm. We had some discussion about the dent and he said there would still be paint damage, he also then stated that it would be $175, my wife did not want the work done if it would not fix it completely, he said the paint guy could finish the job to perfection for an additional $200 after some discussion it was decided to go ahead and remove the dent. He then stated he would do it for $150 and the repair ensued. After some time the tech was finished and said it looks great, there were three of us looking at the repaired dent, there was not a slight high point about an inch and a half long extending from the repaired dent and the tech said it was from the original dent. Well what ever it was still there, he had to get his tools out and attempt to fix it again. As he was getting his tools back out I wiped the finger prints off the car, the trim above the door, the door panel and the panel behind the rear door window, not a big deal, but then my wife (it's her car) noticed a small dent in the chrome trim above the window, he denied that he could have caused it. We had just washed the vehicle before he arrived, the driveway was still damp when he arrived. There was no dent in the trim prior to him working on it. He was no way going to take responsibility for the dent in the trim, he claimed he was never close to the location, I wiped the finger prints off of that location. I also informed him that I would review the video from our surveillance camera and inform him if it showed him in the location of the dent in the trim, I found where he was in fact, pressing his metal tool against the part of the trim. He still denies that he caused any damage. I guess the judge in small claims will get to make that decision. The original dent over all looks better than it did but by no means is it removed. I will post pics tomorrow. My wife's car look worse now with the additional dent in the trim, than it did before he arrived. So here are some pics of the original dent and the dent after the repair, which you can clearly see is still a dent, also there is pictures of the guy with his dent removal tool in the area of the new dent he add to the chrome trim above the window, the area he says he was never near Just an update, even though this guy worked on my wife's car, he keeps getting her review removed. Here is a picture of the latest removal.

Super cool guy, easy to work with, and his work speaks for itself. Honestly does better work than the big body shops and at way better pricing. Most my cars are Matte and he knows how to match exactly! I've taken all my high-end luxury cars to him and he always delivers flawless results. I'm extremely picky with my cars and I would NOT go anywhere else. Trust me look no further.

I have been coming here for few times over the last few years, but I will not come back anymore…read moreafter my recent visit. Gavin gave me two options initially, and I chose the second option replacing front right light with a used light and repairing the fender. Long story short, repairing the fender (making a bracket and welding) was done in same day, but due to ordering the wrong light twice and/or his incompetence dealing with tesla light programming, it took 1 week and 2 days to get my car back with me getting and delivering him the used light with matching part number myself. He kept blaming on the wrong used light that he ordered and kept being rude, whining to me about his time and money lost working on my car, telling me he is doing me a favor when it was his incompetence in ordering the right part or programming tesla light the whole time. I got sick and tired of hearing this BS (felt like he was a customer complaining) so much that I decided to not come back anymore and will go to a different PDR shop in the future. At one point, he requested I need to make an appointment at tesla so he can bring his car there. Second used light he ordered is "DOT 1077372-00-K", and my original light is "DOT 1077372-00-L". According to tesla and from my research, both lights are compatible, but he could not figure it out and at the end, he told me he needs exactly the same part which according to his words, he took a whole lot of time calling and searching for it. It took me 10 min to find whole bunch of them used and took me 30 min to locate the one that I can pick up locally (1hr 30min away) that worked after 5 min after I brought it to him. I wish he just told me the part number in the beginning, and I ordered it myself as if I did it, it'd be done in one day without all of his whining. His final bill was about $240 higher than the estimate as he added tech bill for $240 (he called tesla tech at one point that didn't go anywhere). After I came home, I also noticed one bolt with a washer below my wipers that he is not replying to me if it's from my car and noticed the upper tub under the hood was not clicked in properly. I was very frustrated, but I still was not going to leave a bad review for him considering my past experience, but as soon as I noticed he is ignoring my texts about the bolt, that was it. I won't go back even regarding this bolt that I have no idea where it came from. He never apologized to me even once during this whole time. His attitude was the opposite. Not sure what changed him.

I checked tons of shops, from body shops to PDR places, and went through almost all their photos and reviews. David wasn't the cheapest quote I got, but the quality was absolutely worth it. He gave me two options: a lower‑cost quick fix, or the original quote for the most perfect repair possible. He sent Thomas out to work on my car, and Thomas was great -- super friendly, professional, and even texted me on the day of the appointment saying he could come earlier if I wanted. After hearing what happened, he even expressed sympathy and hoped next time someone would actually take responsibility. Thomas finished everything in about an hour and a half, and the result was basically perfect. He even offered me a lower price than the original quote because the repair went smoothly. The only thing I wasn't fully happy with was David's communication -- it would be nice if he spent a bit more time interacting with customers. But overall, everything went smoothly, and I'd definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. Hopefully I won't need their services again anytime soon though

Additionally, the metal near the edge is thicker than the majority of the door panel. David was upfront with me and told me there may be a small line remaining after he was finished. This photo was what I submitted when requesting a mobile repair quote, and the damage is centered…read moreon the reflector itself, along with dents above and below it. The repair quote I received did not specifically exclude the reflector repair, and it included a charge for "additional materials." Because of that, I reasonably believed the visible reflector damage was included as part of the repair. When I called the office before making the appointment, they didn't tell me that the reflector itself will not be fixed. When the technician arrived, he informed me that they could only repair the dents above and below the reflector, and that the damaged reflector itself was not included. When I called Bumper Buddies for clarification, I was told that because I, as the customer, did not specifically request reflector repair, it was not included in the quote even though the dents directly above and below the reflector were included. As a customer, I relied on professionals' expertise to evaluate the photos and provide an accurate estimate. If a major visible part of the damage was not included, that should have been communicated with the customer or clearly stated in the quote rather than assumed to be excluded. It's not unreasonable for customer to expect the communication of "hey, I see your reflector was also damaged, but we cannot fix the reflector itself, but we can fix the dent above and below it". The repair quote may have matched their internal interpretation of the estimate, but it did not match a customer's reasonable expectation based on the photos submitted. During my follow-up call with Nick, he repeatedly stated that it's a "communication error" and the quote did not include reflector replacement because I had not specifically requested it. That explanation raised even more concerns for me. As a customer, I relied on their expertise to identify and quote the visible damage shown in the photos. I should not be expected to name every individual damaged part or anticipate every technical detail in order to receive an accurate quote. If I had the professional knowledge to identify every repair item myself, I likely would not have needed their service in the first place. That is exactly why I turned to them for an estimate. Based on this experience, I would not feel confident on any future estimates from them unless every single item is spelled out in writing beforehand.
