Ok so I just purchased my first mattress from 1800 fastbed and I wish I could leave 10 stars I had went to Mattress Firm the day before and although the salesman was nice, I was pushed by his opinion, to go with a certain bed that was out of my price range...he kept suggesting that I finance the bed if I cannot afford to pay it upon purchase. I told him I needed time to decide which way I was gonna go and left. I felt pressured and obligated and uncomfortable. I stopped at capital One Bank and right next door was 1800 Fastbed! I took down the phone # and called the next morning. So glad I did!! The gentleman who helped me make my purchase is Mark (he's also the owner) is amazing. He did not persuade me to get what I didn't want. He was so nice and patient and knowledgeable that I was relaxed. He saved me $600 compared to Mattress Firm (used to be sleepys) The whole interaction was incredible. What a stand up guy and company he owns. We needed a mattress and adjustable base same day because of another supplier mistake. Mark got us a better deal on the mattress/base and delivered and setup same day. They came when they promised, did a good job and cleaned up. They were also nice to deal with. Definitely recommend! read more

Asked if they had a king size memory foam mattress. They said they would tomorrow. They took a full sized bed, GLUED two extensions on it, then sewed it into a case so we couldn't see what they did. It lasted a year, and they refused to do anything about it. See the photo of this disaster. A complete rip off! Owner claims I did not buy this at his store. Baloney. I FOR SURE did, when he was located on Hicksville Rd near the old Grumman plant. Somewhere I'm sure my wife has the receipt; she saves everything. Moving from Hicksville Rd to Hempstead Tpke doesn't change anything. It was 1-800 FASTBED for sure! read more

Last night our mattress said it's final good bye. Saw us through two pregnancies and two toddlers jumping on it non stop . We have both been in constant pain for the past two weeks and flipping it just isn't working anymore . I needed a mattress , I needed it today and I had a VERY TIGHT budget . I called 1-800-fastbed in Levittown at 9am this morning . I told the owner , I need something firm, our backs are killing us and I need it TODAY, he told me a price , I said ok and hung up . He called me back ten minutes later , asked my budget . I told him , and he worked with me . It was just delivered at 1pm , two nice gentlemen . Now I can't tell you how sleeping on it is yet , but it came wrapped , very clean , no weird smell or anything . It's firm . it's a King Koil The delivery guy was very honest and said listen , you're going to need a new box spring , you have about two weeks before you'll do damage to your new mattress . Ok next check (unless I can get away with plywood ?) the mans name was Mark and so far , I'm happy . I'll let you know how sleeping went when I get up tomorrow Oh and the owner just called me to make sure I like the mattress , I told him I needed a box spring but need to hold off for now . They deliver to the boroughs..I was surprised. Great quality the lowest prices I found too! After a very thorough search in the web- Manhattan ,Brooklyn and Long Island, I discovered FAST BED. In fact I decided to go there to look at the mattresses. I wanted to be sure they were new and the type I was searching for. Time was a factor since I needed it the next day. My daughter was moving into Manhattan. The mattress was new, firm and the best price I found. (Including outlets). It was delivered the following day, at the agreed on time frame.(early afternoon) NO CHARGE. I gave the guy a $20. tip since it had to be brought up 5 floors, I helped since it was tight. Received great service from 1800Fastbed. My husband and I recently moved into a new apartment. Just before settling in, we noticed that our old mattress was completely ruined after being in storage for 9 months. We needed a replacement mattress right away. Unfortunately, we called much to late in order to place an order for same day delivery, however the we were assured that it will come first thing in the morning. We were pretty bummed because we had no other place to sleep besides our couch and that can be pretty uncomfortable for a pregnant woman. One hour after placing our order... 1800fastbed gave us a call back and told us they will have a separate delivery truck deliver our mattress that same night! Their exact statement was " I'm going to do whatever I can to get that mattress to you, I don't want you guys sleeping on the floor or the couch after moving into your new home!" We were so surprised and very thankful for the unexpected call! Didn't deliver on date promised, then when contacted by us asking "where are you?", tried to substitute a different bed. Said no stores anywhere had the finish in the brand we ordered, which was baloney as several other other stores were advertising it. First claimed they had been "calling all week" then claimed we hadn't left a phone number, which was also baloney. We said cancel the order. I was interested in a getting a soft sided waterbed, and after buying a couple of beds that were not at all what I wanted, I called around and was pleasantly surprised that Fastbeds carried them. When I went to the store, the owner Mark was very knowledgeable about the beds which is unusual. I had a million questions and he patiently answered them all. I settled on a bed and it was perfect. I changed the bladders a couple of times and the water level, and they happily came out to make it just right. Superb customer service. They don't disappear after the sale. I purchased a mattress from Mark 11 months ago. I was very pleased with the service we received. Through no fault of theirs, our mattress did not hold up well. I must say that after shopping at this store i was so happy. I am not one to write reviews but anyone who could satisfy my two teenagers deserves more than a review... First of all , i decided to stop in this store because all of my employees rave about this store.
