The selections on the buffet tasted awful. The service was very poor as well. Did not seem to be clean either. Will not be returning.

Does this have hibachi which buffets in Lexington also have hibachi?

They do not have a hibachi table, if that is what you are looking for, but you can choose your own ingredients and sauce and have them make your stir fry.

(She got the egg drop soup). I got the Mongolian Beef with a spring roll and fried rice . The soup looked really good as did the chicken lo mein . As for the Mongolian Beef it was really good . The beef was nice and tender while the vegetables were still crispy. The spring roll was crispy as well and had more than enough filling. Our server was very friendly and attentive. FYI the buffet is now available only on the weekends .

I liked that our pop tasted good, not too watery or flat. We ordered the orange chicken and mongolian beef. The temperature of the food was great. The flavor on the orange chicken was very pronounced, very tangy and yet sweet. There were fresh chunks of carrots, green pepper, and zucchini with sliced orange peel. The chicken had very light breading but was a little on the dry side. The Mongolian beef cuts were thinly sliced, good cut of beef not chewy but there was an overwhelming amount of red, white and green onions. It was a little bit much. Surprisingly the flavor on them was not overpowering though, they were well cooked and more subtlety flavored, just alot of them. Overall, it was a very good experience and we'd go back again. The food was delicious, the service was fast and friendly.

The lady working the counter and cooking is a nice older lady and we usually talk about the weather. The store has a picture of an elk in front of an American flag and it always gets a chuckle from me. Store ambiance is that of a neighborhood Chinese place and that's a bit comforting for me.

The place offers a…read morevery American Chinese menu, but it was pretty long on the vegetable and tofu side compared to a lot of cheap Chinese joints, which is what inspired me to give them a try. And their Kung Pao tofu delivered all that I could have hoped of it. A packed full container of finely cubed fried tofu (one hack for anyone that doesn't know how to make tofu taste good: you should probably cut it smaller to give it more surface area to absorb whatever sauce you're cooking it in) as well as some diced carrots, baby corn, and quite a lot of peanuts in a brown sauce with just a bit of spice. I also got some sesame noodles, which is one of the more basic versions of the dish I've had, which is basically just noodles with a dollop of spiced peanut butter to spread around and coat them with. This probably sounds like a dig, but it's pretty satisfying and the noodles themselves had a nice soft texture. It was, as I would expect, a ton of food for the money. Basically the whole interior of this little building was devoted to what looked like a clean and organized kitchen. Fancy? Authentic? No, but American Chinese cuisine is a subculture of its own, and this seems a good example of it. I definitely think it would be worth returning to try their other tofu dishes.

I ended up ordering a few appetizers. The Hot & Sour Soup was the standout... flavorful, comforting, and easily a 5/5 on a cold n wet day. Unfortunately, the rest didn't quite hit the mark. The shrimp rolls were below average... mostly lettuce, the shrimps were dried out, and they took about 10 extra minutes to come out. The crab rangoon was the biggest disappointment; the filling had an unpleasant smell and tasted like heavy, clotted cream cheese and there wasn't even an iota of imitation crab meat to justify that name. My friends ordered egg rolls, which actually looked pretty good (I'd say a solid 4/5), and Singapore noodles, which unfortunately looked underwhelming. Overall, there are a few bright spots, especially the soup, but the food quality and atmosphere were inconsistent. With some updates and more attention to freshness and flavor, this place could really improve.

He was attentive and kind. We enjoyed the lovers plate. Basically, an appetizer sampler. Everything on the plate was perfectly fried. The flavors were good. The Singapore noodles were not what I am used to. Ordinarily it's a green curry, there was no taste of curry. The shrimp were cooked well and it was served with a hot sauce on the plate. It wasn't bad, just not as expected. My dining partner had the paradise fish. A fried filet of fish with vegetables and a sweet sauce. She really enjoyed the meal. All in all, a good experience. We will go back and I plan to try the pho on our next trip.
