We adopted our cute little doodle boy from 1 Love Dog Recue! Great place to get a rescue dog from. Our little guy is in perfect health and is a great addition to our family. Justin has many dogs cycle through monthly so if you want a specific type of dog, keep an eye on the FB page as he recuse many from all over Nor Cal regularly. Justin is very helpful and very considerate with any questions you may have! He even calmed our puppy fears but giving us dates for when shots are due and food recommendations! Tip: If you have questions about the organization or want to see the available pups, check out the website!

Justin continues to harass me. I have not responded to any of his messages. I would also like to highlight that he referred to his adoptees "customers". He is asking me to take down my review even though he called me pathetic and threatens again to release my information. I will be blocking his forth coming messages.

Pet lovers...we've had the privilege of rescuing two amazing dogs from 1lovedogrescue. Our family had nothing but the best, most professional experience with Justin. We rescued a puppy in 2019 and then 1.5 years later we rescued a 10-year old senior. Both are the perfect fit for our family. If it wasn't for Justin and his expertise we would not be the family we are today. I highly recommend 1lovedogrescue. Sincerely, Rebecca Bush

We adopted sibling lab puppies three years ago. We have no problems at all. It was a very smooth adoption process and our pups have brought us more joy than we could have ever possibly imagined. All I can say is people need to follow their hearts and minds in making a decision to get a dog. No body is forced to purchase a dog from 1lovedogrescue, but we are sure happy we did!! Thank you, Justin, for all that you do! Your heart is in the right place and that's all that matters. Merry Christmas!!!

We adopted Brie from 1Love rescue about 3 years ago. Sweetest little Chihuahua ever. She was found after being tossed out of a moving car with her 2 puppies she was forced to breed. Best, most appreciative girl ever love. 1Love Rescue is awesome . It takes time and resources to do a Rescue like they do. When you want a new pal, look to them first.

These amazing super humans changed my life forever.I was looking to adopt puppy and was struggling where should I go. Browsing the Internet I found love of my life Mr.Wiggles. Couple minutes after I headed to Auburn to meet my puppy and amazing people who were behind all of this. The amount of work they put in,the way they are looking after all these dogs and sacrifices they are making to make sure every single dog is happy is beyond amazing.Thank you for checking if Mr Wiggles is still doing good and for still taking care of him.And of course-for changing my life forever

Sweetest baby ever! So thankful we found this rescue!

We had been searching for a puppy for months. Then my family found this rescue and were blessed with our sweet little Margie. We had a great experience working with them, they had amazing response times and are very knowledgeable. Couldn't be happier with 1 Love Dog Rescue!

Have seen some negative reviews for Justin and am not sure why because we had the best experience. We adopted a year ago and failed to send in a review and felt the positive needs more attention then all that negative and I needed to let people know. This man devotes himself to saving these unfortunate dogs and finding loving homes. The process was easy and the cost went to a good use. For the time he donates he should get more. If I ever want another dog I would be watching the page for another pup. Thank you Justin for giving us our baby we love her.

    Sweet Gidget! She's incredible!

I have been searching for months for a companion for our 12 year old Poodle Mix. While I have yet to find a new family member, I have hope after speaking with Justin. I have had several negative experiences with other rescues and frankly was ready to give up. Justin took the time to talk to me and he treated me with kindness. I can't wait to see what the future holds and hope to be bringing a new little friend home soon . Thanks again Justin! Update: At the end of October 2018 I drove 5 hours to Auburn Ca and brought home our sweet little girl. She had been rescued by Justin a few days before. Justin took the time to go over everything with me, that she would need to be seen by a vet (this is customary BTW, for breeders and rescues), she would need to be spayed at a time recommended by the vet and he went over worming and proper diet for a puppy. He also gave me a puppy packet, her microchip and additional wormer. I've read a few reviews about people being unhappy that a PUPPY was not altered. Yes, there are some vets out there doing this to young puppies, it is 100% not advisable. You are asking for health issues altering an animal too young. Puppies require the hormones provided for proper growth development. Period. Also, who on earth would want a young puppy put under anesthetic? Someone who obviously doesn't care about that puppy. Second. Justin warns about Giardia, its very common in the areas he is rescuing puppies from. It just is, as well as worms. That's why he specifically tells people to have a fecal test done. These puppies are counting on us as the fosters to do our due diligence for them. Thirdly. We are fosters. It says it right in the paperwork that until we provide proof of spray/neuter that we do not own the animal. This is another way he is trying to protect the dogs. Look at it as a positive and get over the wish to OWN everything. These are living breathing beings that he is entrusting us to care for. Fourth: You may not like the way he runs HIS rescue, if you don't, move on. Your opinion is not necessary nor is it valid if you didnt even adopt from him. If you did and you complained about the above, then nothing will ever appease you and I suggest you get your next puppy from the Walmart parking lot and see how much better you fare.

i've been following Justins Facebook page for quite awhile now and finally adopted one of his rescues. Very easy transaction, loved how Justin loves all the animals and finds them quality homes. He explained everything in detail, answered all my questions and explained how he finds these animals. Quality guy!! Cannot wait to adopt another dog when the time is right. Highly recommend 1 Love Dog Rescue, my next door neighbor actually adopted Watson last week (we will have many play dates) and I continue to give your name out. If you are looking to adopt - come here!

We had booked a private tour for his birthday to meet the rescue animals who call this beautiful place home. Yasmin met us at the entrance and, after swapping shoes for some solid boots, gave us a very honest, very real, and very important rundown of industrial agriculture. Now, I have to add, neither of us are vegan or even vegetarian, but Yasmin proved to be an actively non judgmental, compassionate host. She walked us through the grounds, addressing each animal by name, and was full of knowledge and insight! After the initial meet and greet, we were off! We hiked across the beautiful grounds and met tons of sheep (Jet loved my partner!) goats, and pigs; all of the animals roam freely, coming and going as they please. It was actually delightful how so many of the animals came up to say hi and hang out out of their own volition! We brought some grapes for the chickens and they LOVED them! But oh my god, the turkeys. Wow, just, two little friendly, fluffy orbs that floated around our party showing off while Yasmin gave us an informed and empathetic story about them. She did that at every habitat; letting us in, introducing us (by name!) to the boldest of the bunch, and explaining how they ended up at Animal Place. It was an entirely wonderful, enlightening experience. Also, fyi, turkeys are so soft. I cannot recommend this organization enough. 10/10, please give Conrad an extra treat for me!

I have been wanted to get her spayed and micro chipped for a while. After going through another company for her shots (and they weren't cheap), I found Animal Spay & Neuter on Yelp. You first need to call and leave them a message with the information they ask on their voice mail. Then, they call you back to get you on the schedule. You need to put down the payment over the phone to secure your spot for the spay or neuter. I was called back about 48 hours later, and on the schedule in less than a week. When the day arrived, you need to arrive at 7:30am and call the number on the banner at the front entrance to let them know your there. Then, you go up to the window when they call you back, to check in. They have the option to micro chip your furry friend, so if course, I wanted Sophie chipped. That I paid for when she was ready for pick up. They tell you they'll call you when your loving pet is finished. Sophie was done later that morning and would be ready for pick up at 1:30pm. Everyone here seemed so gentle and loving with Sophie. They are amazing for what they do. I am so thankful they were able to help me take good care of Sophie!

Just a heads up for anybody getting a cat neuter or spay:…read more They will add a 5 dollar (at least) charge for being "rowdy", which is weird because when I was picking up my cat, every single person got the same charge with no previous warning. Also, they charge 6 dollars for a cone and say that they don't supply the cone because the cat was acting fine when with the vet (which was when they were sedated. Another thing, they have a sign that says to call them upon arrival and they will call back when ready, but even though I was the first one to arrive and call I was only helped after 5 people so they really need to fix the whole system here.
