Delicious coffee and a nice selection of breakfast pastries. They were able to accommodate my picky coffee order which was a low-caffeine latte with oat milk. The only negative was their menu isn't posted largely and clearly. The place could use a little tidying up! read more

tldr: 1 oz is another one of those hip small coffee stores that gives you a pleasant pop of caffeine. It was certainly good but not special, a worthy choice if I'm in the area again but otherwise I may not be back + Gibraltar done wonderfully (strong, smooth, creamy, no hint of bitterness but full of flavor) + Beautiful steamed milk art + Visually pleasing interior (but a bit small to stop and stay; tables were occupied when I luckily had dropped in for a to-go cup) + Reasonable prices for service ($3.80 Gibraltar, ~$5 for lattes and specialty drinks) - Customer service was curt and unfriendly, despite no rush of patrons - Tricky parking in this area of the city center read more

I've been here on a dozen occasions and love their service and coffee. I'd highly recommend their spicy chai latte and matcha donut as takeout options. Their service is extremely friendly and covid-safe as well. I don't frequent the Mountain View area but this week I'm helping out a location in the area for work and on day one all my colleagues recommended 1 oz. I love that I was able to order online as sometimes you only have a short time frame to leave the office to pick it up so that was very convenient. I got the iced ube latte with oat milk and it was amazing. You can taste the ube but it's not overpowering and the drink itself is not overly sweet, it was perfect! The baristas are super friendly so that was a plus! I'll be back to try something new! read more

After much searching, 1 Oz Coffee is now my go-to spot for banging out a bunch of Yelp reviews now that I have moved to the West Coast. The hustle and bustle here is the perfect amount of ambient noise I need to get the creative juices flowing and it also helps that the drinks they serve here are also good! For those who are vegan and/or lactose intolerant, 1 Oz Coffee still has something for you! While seating indoors is limited, there is plenty of outdoor seating which is nice on the warmer days. I recommend the spicy chai latte and the donuts (when they have it) for those visiting for the first time - they really hit the spot! read more

We came here to get caffeine & food to start our day. The coffee shop was located inside the building. We found street parking outside the building on Friday morning. The shop wasn't busy, and we ordered latte and Mocha for our drink. And also got mochi donut & cake. Both hot drinks came with pretty latte art. The taste was smooth and aromatic when drinking it. Wanted to get my mid-day Matcha Latte fix so my friend and I stopped by as we were roaming around downtown Mountain View. This is a super cute coffee shop although they're only allowing pick up as of now which was a lil sad sad but they had outdoor seating which was nice! I accidentally ordered the Matcha Latte without asking for non-dairy milk, so I ran back inside and asked them to make the switch and they were so nice about it. However, as for the Matcha Latte itself, I've definitely had better. The matcha flavor wasn't very strong, which was a bit of a let down. But the Black Currant Lemonade was very good. They have an array of unique drinks on their menu, so I'm looking forward to returning and trying them, along with their pastries :). read more

I'm a recurrent customer at this coffee shop, and though the baristas are amazing and the coffee is great... I have to give you 1 star because of this god-awful "decor." This a/c unit has been in repair for MONTHS, and you can imagine the impact that's had on customers during the heatwave this summer. And don't even get me started on how I'm terrified my favorite barista will get crushed by whatever that thin layer of plastic is covering up in the ceiling. This feel like a safety hazard and I have not seen it actively been repaired ever. Seriously. Give the customers and workers some a/c and show this location the love it shares with its customers. This would be an easy 5-star review for me, but the experience is ruined consistently. Do better 1 oz Coffee. read more

The service was a bit slow since they were busy but the latte art was great and my favorite was definitely the ube latte since it had quite a sweet taste but also had such a unique flavor. Borderline 3 or 4 stars, but taking it down a notch because it is quite pricey. Location: Castro St.! Street parking or residential parking is the way to go. Interior: minimalistic, ig perfect. Only annoying thing is that they have pretty limited chairs and tables, so people just awkwardly sit on the interior benches instead. Menu: decent amount of options, all fancy looking. We came here on a Saturday morning, and the wait was perfectly fine. The server said that their cinnamon honey latte is popular, so we got a cup of that "for here" (spoiler: to get a nice photo). Service: super friendly people! Portion size is standard, latte art was mediocre, drink was pretty good! The only thing was that the cinnamon flakes were getting stuck in between my teeth (my fault 100%). Overall, didn't taste the honey aspect, but enjoyed this cinnamon latte concoction. PRO TIP: come to 1 Oz coffee early sunday morning, get the cinnamon honey latte and a vegan croissant, and stroll the Mountain View farmers market. Guaranteed mood boost. I generally order the beet root latte with nut milk and their vegan pastry. They generally have vegan donuts, vegan bread or vegan croissant. The service is friendly even on mornings that are busy. BEWARE: the ube latte has 0 % coffee! Literally cost me $6 w/ tax for an overpriced flavored milk that tasted like what I could have gotten at a boba milk tea shop. I told the worker that the title was misleading since people that buy it probably think it has espresso in it. He told me latte means milk in Italian which I KNOW because I'm Italian, but if you go anywhere in America and ask for a latte no one is going to hand you just a cup of milk. Additionally the customer service was awful and the employees are rude. I've gone to hundreds of coffee shops and I've never experienced the hostile environment that I have here. read more

The best coffee shop in Mountain View! I really enjoy their lattes and matcha drinks. Today I had their St Patrick's Special "Iced Mango Matcha" and it was actually soooo good. Poor customer experience. No large menu posted, and the menu provided is small and placed where people make their order. This lead everyone in line to stop when they get to the front and look over the menu which made the line move really slowly. Coffee tasted pretty bitter and thin. Only one size of coffee. If you're looking for a new place to get a cuppa in MTV, 1 Oz Coffee might make for a change of pace. The vibe? No-frills beverages for a regular day. Their cafe is bright, themed all blue, with some tables and corner stools. The baristas are super friendly, which is always worth noting. It isn't the most aesthetic coffee shop (Red Rock Coffee around the corner still has my vote on that one), but for a weekday afternoon, 1Oz will do. I saw quite a few people slaving away at their laptops indoors, and a few relaxed visitors at their blue tables outside. I went in here for the first time last weekend. I got their spicy chai latte which was really good, and it seems their ube latte is also a must try, so I'll be going back. They have affogato. Need I say more? This boutique coffee shop serves up coffee, baked goods, and other specials for the local community. Small indoors, but available outdoor space to enjoy the fresh air. Not many places serve affogato anymore, so whenever we crave this, 1 Oz Coffee is our destination of choice! Bon apetit! read more

I got an iced ube latte w oat milk and it was pretty good, but a little sweet for my taste. I have also gotten an iced cinnamon honey latte w oat milk from here and it was pretty average tasting. Nice location - lots of parking and we love to have found a Vietnamese coffee place. I typically get the egg coffee but decided to go with their new Peanut Butter Latte and I'm so glad I did. It comes already with oat milk which is perfect. I will say - for the large the ratio on cream to coffee was little off. I'd prefer less of the cream and more coffee but it was still delicious and refreshing - not too sweet and had a lot of the PB flavor. Hubby got the Pandan Matcha. He loved it - though it was a bit too sweet for him so he waited for the ice to melt a bit. Not sure if we could have adjusted the sweetness. Youngest got the Banana Latte and devoured it quickly. Fair to say I think she really enjoyed it! Nice that they are so close to us now. Will definitely be one of our go to for Vietnamese coffee!!

I was intrigued by their matcha drinks and Salted Cream Jasmine Tea. I ended up picking the latter. My drink took a pretty long time to get - last in my group, but eventually they called out my order. When I finally got it, it was very dark like coffee, so I asked the employee, if this was my order - the Salted Cream Jasmine Tea. She double checked and confirmed the name and drink. I was still skeptical about it, but since the employee confirmed it was order, we just left after we all got our drinks. After leaving, I tried my drink (which I should had before I left) and it was definitely coffee and it was super strong (I do not like or drink coffee at all). It was not worth going back, so I just tossed it after only 2 sips, which was a bummer because it was almost $8 drink and they gave me the wrong drink, even though I double checked with them.

The doggy treat was on the harder side but other than that my dog really enjoyed the treat which is saying something as she can be picky.
