My vote for best brew pub in Bend. Their Sinister Black Ale is also my favorite beer in Bend. Great service and food ( fish and chips are amazing). I'm a local, and 10 Barrel definitely has the best food of any brewpub in town. Even if you don't drink, come for the food. I've had numerous entrees and they have all been very tasty - you may end up craving one or more of them days or weeks later! But the beer is worth a visit as well, of course, top three in town for me. Best part is they're not all hoppy as with other NW brews. They may be busy as the secret is out, but be patient, it's worth it. read more

The pizza at 10 Barrel is great! During the summers and in the middle of winter, the place is always packed due to tourist season. The downfall of this place is that they sold out, I get why they did it, but in the end they now become just a puppet and no longer leaders in the beer community. read more

Been to 10 barrel numerous times. It's a fun spot, and very good food and beer! Can be super crowded at times, so don't go if you are in a hurry. A fun spot to take out of town guests. Their nachos are unique, and though may clog arteries,they are SUPER yummy! Very good pizza too!!!! read more

I came here specifically to rave about the Gorgonzola Nachos... incredible, unforgettable... I love nachos, crave them... these are the absolute most creative, unique, delicious nachos in the known universe. Outstanding service, reasonably priced... comfy seating, unique design and fixtures (attention Architects and Builders), located in the charming Galveston district. Their pizza is fantastic! It is hard to decide what else to get when you have their pizza to choose from! That and the beer together is wonderful! They also have a very cool outside area with a fire pit that is perfect for the chilly nights! They are usually busy so if you don't mind the wait, 10 Barrel is totally worth it! read more

Ordered the house salad and bit into a big ball of mud. No way they could have missed this if they even tried to wash the greens. It's mud, I know greens grow in the stuff, but I don't want it included in my $12 salad. Very unappetizing and I won't be back. There are much better local places. read more

Our first time to Bend and from the moment we arrived LOVED IT. We had a large party and was told it would be 45 minute wait; hostess put my phone number into an ipad. I got a text welcoming me, and less than 30 minutes later got a text that my table was ready - they were slammed and yet all servers were composed and attentive. The outside area is spacious (and dog friendly, like most of Bend) and getting to the bar easy. We enjoyed the overall layout and atmosphere and sat outside - before we left, the fire pit was lit and was most enjoyable. Everyone in our party ordered something different to eat and we all agreed the food was terrific. I tried the shrimp/watermelon skewers with coconut rice YUM! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! p.s. Everything was exceptional about my experience here. My girlfriend and I have been doing the bend ale trail and 10 barrel has jumped out among the best so far. The bartender was fast and friendly, the beers ( I had the missed high and apocalypse) were very good and our steak nachos were delicious. Definitely recommend and will be back read more

Wanted to like this place, but worst experience of the nine breweries I visited in the last few days. Others in my party enjoyed their food, but nothing to separate them from the pack. We were planning on making a quick stop in Bend as part of an epic 12-day motorhome trip, and I was looking for a local brew pub. It was my husband's birthday and we had been driving all day (from Jackson WY). We were hungry and looking for a fun time. When we arrived the place was packed! We go to check in and the hostess says that it is a 2.5 hour wait (and then mutters "but it's SOOOO worth it"). Me and my family hate to wait at restaurants...we usually won't even wait a half hour, but based on the hostess's comment, and the Yelp review, we decided to wait. We were told we could sit out on the patio, and get beers and order any menu item from the bar, so why not! Our table actually became ready in less than 1.5 hours, but we were having so much fun on the patio that we declined the table. It was fun to people watch out there, and since we are big dog lovers we enjoyed visiting with the other guest's dogs- which were very welcomed out on the patio. We of course ordered the decadent nachos, which were amazing, but we also got a pizza (the Jakka I think). From the menu description, it was possible that this could be the worst thing ever, but it was the opposite...it was SOOOO good. We also tried a variety of beers and they were all great. After you check in they send you a text right away to let you know the wait time, and the text includes a link to some trivia games. I thought that was fun, and unique. read more

Excellent pub grub, but since Anheiser Busch bought them, it isnt as busy, the employees are cranky, and they lost their liquor license, so if you dont like beer, you cant get a hard drink. read more

10 Barrel has some really outstanding food and good brews. The first restaurant in Bend with an outdoor fire pit which other restaurants have now emulated. This is a great restaurant and brewery if you have time to wait and either have earplugs for the noise or drink so much you can only hear yourself. Definitely worth an occasional visit. read more
