I am very disappointed. I had my nails done and was charged $65.00. That same night my nail polish started peeling off several nails so I went back. I wanted polish taken off and redone. The husband did re-polish and reshape them but charged me $20.00 more. read more

Worst pedicure of my life! I have pedicures pretty regular so I usually carry my own kit since all the places usually charge you extra. Not this place, didn't ask me and started using their own nail files. I told him I had mine and man looked at me strange. As my nails are drying, he turns to start the next person and he begins to use the same nail tools he had just used on me!! Didn't sanitize, didn't grab a new pair, didn't even wash them. Gross! I've learned the hard way to make an appointment if you want to go on weekends, and I always see Hannah. She's thorough with a mani like no one I've EVER seen and I'm obsessed with my nails when she's done. The decor could be updated, but what do you expect for a little place? Bella and the male Manager are unprofessional and incompetent; I went in for pedicure May 2021 and Bella trimmed one foot, and on the second foot cut into the top of my toenail, leaving a gash that turned black the next day. I was told to leave immediately by the Manager who told me "you should not have screamed -- you scared my girl and she will not finish the pedicure" ~~ with no apology - with no offer of a towel to dry my feet - with no offer of assistance of any kind. He ordered the other workers to leave the space and I was alone & without anyone available to see what might happen so took out my camera and he immediately came and photographed my foot and muttered something and slapped down a business card on the seat next to me that made me jump. I hope that this business receives some tight oversight because they are inexcusably inefficient in customer service after causing physical damage to a client. read more

Absolutely never ever coming back here again, I come in for a pedicure. Next few days I notice a few of my toe nails have developed a fungal infection, right before the the good weather im going to have missing toe nails that I paid 50$ for. I usually only go to one place to get my toes done but since they where closed I had to go here and now I have to go though the trauma of having so much puss and throbbing pain coming from them, not only that. Toe nails take forever to grow and now I have to wear toe covered shoes all the time in hot weather due to the fact that this place clearly doesn't have proper sanitation. read more

I must have been there on an off day but this was the worst nail experience I've ever had. I had a mani and pedi and the lady who did my feet didn't do anything except a massage and paint. She didn't trim any dry skin and she didn't push back cuticles. This salon has the friendliest, most welcoming staff. They don't try to rip you off and do a great job. I have brought so many friends here and Vivian and Tran welcome them and engage in great conversation the whole time. Walked in to 5 employees shortly after opening and only one was working with a client. The other 4 were on their phones or reading magazines. I asked if they could do a fill and was told they were busy and it would be a 1-2 hour wait. I politely declined, but wouldn't recommend based on that experience. read more

I have mixed feelings about this place, mainly due to the cost. My pedi (with designs on each big toe) was $50. Plus tip. That's a lot for a pedi, unless you're at a spa. It isn't. She did a great job with the polish. It's been almost 2 months and there isn't a chip. My nails grow slowly, they aren't claws. ;) The rest of the pedi was just mediocre, I still had some rough areas when she was done. For the cost, I expect my feet to be perfect. I was trying to relax and there was an annoying, older businesswoman who made and received at least 10 calls during her pedi, which I found very rude. Nice selection of shellac colors. Kinda friendly . Gave me two different shapes and the wrong color . Cut my nails way to short . I normally don't come to this place I have a place in Vancouver but my regular nail tech was out of town . Went in and saw Vivian she asked if I wanted my nails cut down I said yes just a little bit . Nope cut over half of my length. Told her before she cut my nails down I wanted the coffin shape just like I had coming in . Then told me to move to the next chair because her husband wanted to do it. So he's doing my nails and let me tell you he's rough as hell my cuticles feel like they are going to fall off. He finishes one hand and I notice the shape is square as heck like 90s style . I ask him if he's going to leave them this shape . He looks at me and goes yes this is what you asked for . Wrong ! I asked for coffin he speaks to his wife and she comes over and starts to file my nails even shorter and proceeds to tell me I need to keep them longer in order to have the coffin shape . Well she cut them all off. She files one hand and a young women walks in she stops and leaves my right hand unfilled. So now I'm pissed I have extra short nails , the wrong color and two different shapes all for a 40 dollar fill . I will not be back . read more

This is the only place I will go to get my nails/toes done. I drive half an hour to get there. I have tried getting shellac at other places, but at Ten Nails the shellac will not come off whatsoever. The only reason I need to get it redone is if the grow out is too bad. I love their service, and they are very friendly. The pedicures are heavenly! This is the only place that has ever applied shellac nails on me that lasted more than one week. It's more been 3 weeks (I should probably get them off now) and they are still nice and strong. My hands go under hot water all the time and take quite a bit of beating. However, the shellac withstood everything. They did a good job applying it and sealing it so that it would last longer. Just Awful!! I have been a customer for about 3 months, faithfully getting fills every two weeks. I thought Tran (the owner) was great, and also loved talking to him about Bonsai trees, and was planning on buying one from him. This man WENT BESERK last night. I had a fill done last week by a new tech (first day on the job). I asked how she was hired (do they give you a test etc.) purely out of curiosity. She was very nice and said there was not a test or references. Fine. I really thought my nails looked uneven and thick, but was just going to suck it up and have Tran do them next time. I had to go back THREE times within five days though (I called each time and was rushed off the phone with "come in and we will fix"), as the gel polish continually lifted off of some of my nails. When I went back I was made to feel as if I was trying to get something for nothing as they were very defensive, never apologized, and would just grab my hand and fix the nails with the polish problems. The first time I went back (the day after the fill) I PAID and tipped like an idiot because I felt bad that the woman was new, and she didn't charge much to file down my nails. While getting my nails fixed I asked her what they were discussing as I don't speak Vietnamese. She said Tran said I had already made my decision (?) last night and this was my problem. I can only assume because I paid and left before the nail polish chipped off hours later, that I had somehow signed off on the work? BTW, I was told something different each time I went back, that it was the "air" (?) that messed up my nails, that it was "the light machine" (which they were still using on me and others) and when I asked if perhaps the polish was old they just said no. The gel polish normally lasts about 3 weeks, not 3 hours. Anyhow, last night culminated in them insinuating I was doing something to my nails and I just said forget it and left. I called Tran on my way home to tell him how disappointed I was. He said the new lady does a bad job and she shouldn't have told me they were talking about me (I actually feel sorry for her working for this guy), to come back and we would all 3 speak face to face/ clear things up/ and he would repaint my thumb nail that had chipped off. It was really the last thing I felt like doing as I had already left and was going to find a new salon at this point, but just wanted to clear this all up and move forward. Little did I know what was coming! I go back, sit down and ask Tran where the other gal is. He says he did not just tell me that we were going to talk, then leaned over the table I was sitting at and with his mask over his mouth and his eyes bulging YELLS "F YOU, YOU F'ING B"! I WAS SHOCKED. I said "omg, why are you doing this?" He said "I DON'T LIKE YOU" He called me f'ing b over and over and told me "Get the F out of my shop". I'm not proud to say I did finally yell back at him that he is f'ing psychotic, and that I would make a police report as I was actually scared of him at this point. I left and got in my car and Tran comes OUT OF THE SHOP yelling and fake crying ( I assume because I had tears in my eyes after he started screaming in my face) while throwing his arms up in the air! Sorry if this is rambling, but I'm honestly still in utter disbelief and just wish I had recorded this on my phone because I almost can't believe this even happened! I have never been treated like this in any establishment, in any town, in my entire life. I could never recommend this place as I would not wish this experience on anyone. read more

Worst new set of nails I have ever had done. Tran did them and assured me at beginning that being picky was OK. When I said I wanted them shorter he was obviously peeved to have to file them down further. He barely spoke to me remainder of appointment then dismissed me to wash and starrted his next client. I stood there then finally asked if he wanted me to pay. Again curt and dismissive. First time ever I have not given a tip. Week later my nails are uneven some thicker some thinner and especially thick at the cuticle where many of them have a look of lifting but aren't yet. Assume shoddy product. I would not recommend this place and will never return. ****UPDATE: 9 days into new set and 9 out of my 10 nails are lifting really badly. They look absolutely horrible. I went in for a solar full set with white tips done by the male owner there. They looked great until I went to get a fill done at a different nail salon and she informed me that my nails were done with regular acrylic powder and had lifted quite a bit. So I got charged almost twice as much for "solar" when he used just regular acrylic powder. Beware of this! Completely ripped me off. Won't be going back here again. read more
